We found the house to comfortable and clean, the beds were great with good quality mattresses and linen. The lounge was very comfortable and a good size. It was good to have the drive way as the streets around had a lot of cars fighting for space. The house is in an estate that has some really run down properties/areas but the house itself is next to some nice friendly neighbours (Annie with the two Chihuahuas!) We found it to be quiet at night. The cons: quite far away from town, you could walk but it's about 30 mins. There are some niggly issues with squeaky hinges, dodgy door handles and a window that wouldn't shut properly in the bathroom, but these were irritations rather than deal breakers. The hosts were very responsive and friendly. Would definitely stay again and would recommend.

What a stunning house in the most gorgeous area ... Mhairi's house is a complete fairytale and was perfect for myself and 11 other friends to stay for the weekend. The house was clean, stylish, and warm with a huge patio and fabulous living / dining space. We were all desperate to move in - a real dream house. It is also close to a loch and lovely swimming spots which are a short walk away from the house. We'll be recommending this place to everyone and would love to return! Thank you Mhairi for all your advice and helping us have such a wonderful weekend together :)

The apartment is perfect for a pleasant stay in Callander. It's large and spacious, and the fact that it has a garden makes it even more enjoyable. Recommended!

We had a perfect Spring break in Aberfeldy at Vickys. The home was squeaky clean, cosy and well equipped in a central location in Aberfeldy. Everything we needed was within walking distance and there are surprisingly good places to wine and dine. The weather was also perfect and local scenery is majestic. Highly recommend it!

An absolutely wonderful home to be able to experience the best of Scottish villages, landscapes, walks, pubs, people. Since the first communication the hosts were brilliant in making sure we were comfortable and free of any stress that comes with travelling. The home is simply simple, everything works, from the first walk in the door we felt everything is ok, you can walk to whatever you need, We spent 8 nights at this home and were sad to leave, it means so much that my family were able to experience this adventure with this home as our base. Had just a single nights stay for work nearby but the perfect place to lay my head! Quiet, comfortable and had everything I needed. Great communication with Jamie the host, easy check-in and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if working nearby.

What a beautiful spot! I was content never to move from the garden, although my co -travellers would probably have had something to say about it. Samantha was fantastically accommodating to our requests re when we could check in and out and length of stay. The house is perfect for a couple of families - so much space and set out in a way that you can get away from everyone, should you need to. Everything was there that you needed, beds were comfy, everything was easy to use and the living spaces were all very relaxing. Wildlife galore to be seen with your morning coffee. There are lovely walks to be had from your doorstep, and The Bridge of Cally Pub and shop are a short walk along the road. Balnabea is perfectly situated for exploring Perthshire - ours was a short break away, but as usual Scotland delivers in making you feel you've been away for double the length of time. We recommend The Hermitage and Dunkeld. We loved it so much we wanted to make it our annual retreat.

Second visit for us and hopefully won’t be the last. Beautiful surroundings, clean, modern accommodation with thoughtful touches. Explored more of the walks around the cottage this time and the area is stunning. Highly recommended.

We had a really good stay at Carolines place. Comfortable, spacious and warm, with everything we needed. Ideally situated in a quiet area of the City but only a few minutes walk from the railway/bus stations and the main shopping area and restaurants/bars. Hope to return there again!

We had a wonderful stay. The surrounding gardens are beautiful and it was so peaceful. Close to so many attractions. It was a dream come true to stay overnight in a castle and Carola made us feel right at home. Would love to return some day.

We had a wonderful 4-day stay in Callander. The apartment was immaculate and had everything we needed. The fixtures and fittings were good quality. We would happily recommend no. 6 to other couples. Kate was friendly and kept us well informed - just what is need in a host. Callander is an interesting town with beautiful surroundings and many options for walks in the surrounding countryside - which is why we chose to stay there. We were fortunate with the weather (sunny and dry for the whole of our stay). This was one of the best places we have stayed in in recent years. Jean

As a couple with a dog seeking a weekend break Dunollie at Balquhidder was perfect for us. Cosy and spotlessly clean, in a great location for walks and the excellent Mhor84 just down the road for a superb breakfast. A perfect break for us, thank you Alison and Hannah.

We had an amazing stay at Gillian and Guy's place. We called when we got to the village and were given instructions on how to locate the property. Guy was already waiting for us and gave us a quick tour with all the information we needed. There was fresh flowers, easter eggs, prosecco, and a wee whiskey for us to enjoy. Decorated beautifully and well kitted out. The hottub is on all the time so we were able to get right on in and relax. The sofa was super comfy and the TV is huge, perfect for movie night. Will definitely be back

A great place to stay in Callander. It is on the main road but isn't noisy, very handily right across from Tesco and 30 seconds round the back is access to the river (good for dog walking). We did drive past the parking spot at first but having a place to put the car is great. 8 minute drive to the bottom of Ben Ledi walk - which I would recommend. Very comfortable space big enough for 2 and a dog, had pans/knives/boards etc. Also had salt/pepper/oil which is helpful. Emma was responsive and kindly let us check out flexibly as noone else had booked in.

What a gem of a place. Perfect location for our spa day at Gleneagles. Beautifully appointed, the beds were so comfortable and we got the best sleep. Everything you could need for a stay away.

It is a beautiful and spacious apartment tucked away in Birnam. The apartment is welcoming and stylish. Conveniently close to the train station if you're travelling by public transport, and there is plenty of on street parking if you're driving. Birnam is within walking distance of Dunkeld (about 15 minutes) where there is more amenities. We recommend visiting the Birnam Arts Centre which is at the end of the road from the apartment, it is a lovely space and has a good cafe (reasonably priced too). If you're able to get to Pitlochry, we highly recommend a meal at The Wee Choo Choo restaurant (set in a converted train carriage, one that featured in Mission Impossible), the food was delicious and the staff lovely. Ali was a great and friendly host, very helpful and responsive, and provided local recommendations. We would definitely stay here again.

Stop scrolling, book this one! Perfect two night stay, lovely place, very conveniently located, fully equipped, and 5 star hotel grade bedding made it feel extra special. Very responsive host, local recommendations and advice. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

Great location with designated parking bay. Coop within walking distance and pub selling good food. Great for bus routes into the city and to the University and a great base for visiting other places round and about.

I absolutely loved staying here! The apartment is absolutely lovely and you feel at home as soon as you arrive! Alyson is very welcoming and was able to accommodate changing check in times cause she met us there to let us in and show us around. The town is extremely peaceful and if I could’ve stayed longer there I definitely would have!
