Girls weekend at Van Etten Lake. House is adorable with plenty of amenities. The back deck is as where we spent most of our time. Large and comfy. We had a bonfire one night (thanks for leaving us some wood - it’s hard to gather on motorcycles ;)). Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of linens and towels. We had a beach day in Oscoda and we want to come back! Found some nice spots for dinners. The weekend was over way too soon! Thanks for a great spot!

Alisha was VERY helpful, communicated very well and quick responses on all questions asked. My crew was in the area restoring power from the terrible ice/snow storm from the prior week. She welcomed us into her home! Thank you again for being able to help us and letting us stay!

This place was absolutely beautiful. It was extremely quiet, and I absolutely loved it. The place looked even better in real life better than the photos. The kitchen had so many different pots and pans to use and it was very easy to navigate. The washer and dryer was extremely good. The backyard is really big and beautiful and there was so many birds, there’s even a rabbit that lives in the backyard I was so happy to see the rabbit. 🐇 had a wonderful stay and highly recommend. Host was extremely friendly. I felt at home.

Great space that is very well suited to accommodate a group. Closely located to the Main Street in town and easy to walk to the shops and restaurants. We enjoyed the hot tub and all of our time visiting Frankenmuth. Very happy with our choice to stay at Elliott’s.

Bens place was in a great location for exploring beaches. The cottage was better than expected. It is very clean and comfortable with great amenities! A short walk through the quaint and quiet neighborhood to see amazing views and sunrises!

Beautiful, serene, and felt like home. My two dogs LOVED the pond out back and we all enjoyed roaming the expansive private yard. Saw a ton of deer, napped in the hammock, had a peaceful bonfire every night in the large bonfire pit. I loved the hot tub under the stars and the big jetted bathtub. Comfortable beds and the place had everything we needed to cook at home. An absolute gem and we plan to return!

I stayed in the cottage for one night in a cozy one-room setup, and it was such a lovely experience. The place was beautifully decorated, warm, and inviting — it felt like a perfect little retreat. I can’t recommend Bridget’s place enough! My family and I came up to st ignace for a UP get away weekend and this was the perfect way to spend time together in the evening while also having privacy. The location is walking distance to Sheplers which was so convenient for getting to Mackinac island. The space itself is roomy, clean and gives you a beautiful view of Lake Huron. Bridget is also a prompt, clear and thoughtful host. If we ever get the chance, we will absolutely be staying with Bridget again in the future!

We enjoyed our stay while in town to ski. Easy walking distance to restaurants for a person that enjoys walking, even in the cold. Thanks for letting us stay in your cute airbnb!! Don and Jill

We had a pleasant stay, just a couple small quirks to the place we didn't anticipate, maybe I didn't read the listing close enough, but host was responsive and friendly. Perks were it's a spacious stay and has a comfortable bed. TV and fireplace are nice. Quirks are is a first floor apartment complex with a tenant above and there were banging noises above that kept waking us up. Host responded they'd ask the neighbor to keep down the noise, a great option, however the noise kept happening seemingly every time we tried to sleep. Bath towels are located under the bed in a plastic drawer, which isn't correct from the description given "in dresser" and there were no towels in the bathroom initially, which really confused us. The shower is well water based and has a horrible odor, not much the host can do about this but it made showering quite uncomfortable. I still rated 5 stars due to these being minor quirks, overall the stay was peaceful.

We were in town for the Izzo race and Barbara's place worked well for our overnight stay. The beds were so comfortable! Super close to MSU which was a plus. Also appreciated the excellent communication with Barbara.

Accessible, convenient and clean. This spot is a 5 minute walk from downtown Walloon and the perfect accommodation for a short weekend visit. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable bed and only 15 or so minutes from downtown Petoskey! Would stay again for next year’s floral workshop!

We had a lovely weekend away here! The sauna and hot tub were very relaxing and private, and we felt right at home due to Katie and Jim’s wonderful hospitality!

Mitch and Nicholas were great hosts! They were very accommodating with my stay starting during an epic ice storm! They were both very kind, responsive and approachable. Thank you so much for such a great, safe experience!

This is the second time I've stayed. For personal reasons, I had to leave early, but the hosts were very gracious and kind. The house is great and comfortable as always. The host is always easy to reach and great to speak with. I hope to make more trips here in the future for some rest away from home!

the place was immaculate despite the awful ice storm that has devastated the area. wonderfully kept and professionally clean. loved our time there enjoying pigeon river. The host Ronda is top notch. Couldn't be any better from short response times to detailed explanations on where things are located and check in was a breeze. The best hosts I've ever worked with. Cozy and rustic cabin. Derek was friendly, gave clear instructions and offered flexible check in/out times. The propane heat kept us warm throughout the night. We had a great time and enjoyed the entire ambiance. We will be back again.

Great overall experience! Location was very nice and quiet. Chris was the perfect host to deal with.

My boyfriend and I stayed here a couple of nights to go to Mackinac island and lakeshore. We brought our dog along and it was the perfect cabin vibe we were looking for. We had some lovely peaceful mornings able to make breakfast (we brought a hot plate) and coffee (keurig). We were able to have a bonfire and look at the stars too, perfect tranquil camp vibe with string lights on the porch. There was a short path we could walk the dog around the campsite in the mornings that felt safe. Only 15 minutes away from Mackinaw city.
