Houghton : locations de vacances adaptées aux enfants

Tammy's place was so much better than I expected. The private location was second to none, yet still a short drive if you needed/wanted to shop or be by other people. I was bummed I didn't have enough time to check out the sauna. Everything was very neet and clean. the waterfrontage was great for relaxing, having a bon fire, star gazing, rock hounding. The number of deer seen on and around the property was amazing. The only drawbacks were no washer and dryer, not an issue for the few days we were there (4), the amount of flies trying to get inside, can't blame the owner though as they cannot control mother nature. While it wasn't an issue while we were there, I didn't see any air condioning options. They may have some, I didn't notice it due to being late fall. This may sound odd, but I told my wife, this is the kind of place I want to go to to die...I know, a bit dark for some, but for me, it just felt so soothing and relaxing every minute I was there. Hard to explain. Thank you!

Paul’s place was perfect for our family’s stay for graduation weekend. It offered plenty of space, convenient to campus and best of all, the perfect grad pic opportunity on the deck with views of campus.

We stayed for a weekend ski trip to Mt Bohemia. It was a short (40 minute drive) which was perfect for decompressing after a long day on the hill. We loved the beautiful views of Lake Superior! The cottage was the perfect size for the two of us with all the kitchen amenities we needed to cook all our meals. It was warm, cozy, and very relaxing. Thank for a great stay!

Great location right on the water. We watched the sunrise right out of the horizon every morning. Was a great place to cook, watch movies, read, rest and relax but was also close enough to go out for a day of exploring in Copper Harbor (hour away). Going to Copper Harbor in fall was amazing & the colors were beautiful the entire drive. 🍁 There are neighbors but we had no issues. Beach was basically empty the whole time so very private. We did some morning (sunrise) & evening (moon) yoga by the beach. Rooms & beds were comfortable, overall great place & we would stay again. I would stay here again.

Great view and great space. The games in the basement were a nice bonus.

Jennifer was an amazing host! We had to leave early due to a winter storm as we weren't prepared for heavy snowfall with our small vehicle. She was very kind and gave us options for a solution. The beautiful views and decor were like something out of a movie. I immediately felt at home and plan to come back when it's warmer!

Vita, has a Class A place!!! we enjoyed all the little things she did to make us comfortable without being obvious... Handwritten letter, beer, soda, ice in the refrig, great coffee, great breakfast snacks and kitchen you would swear was your own with all of the amenities. Plus theater in the basement, Great outside accommodations, didn't get to use the grill but wanted to. Let's just just say that this home is the Pinnacle of Houghton! My highest recommendation! Bravo!!!!

I have stayed here several times now for work. Great location and house is very comfortable for a group. Jay is always very responsive and helpful.

Great place for MTU graduation weekend. It was nice to be in the lake. The house was exceptionally clean. There was no expectation of Kari’s guests to be housekeepers too. Very easy check in and check out. Hope to stay here again for future events!
