We will stop for an early breakfast in Actopan, a city halfway to our destination. The day is divided into three parts. Pool Tranquility: Start your day relaxing a while in the “pocitos”; naturally warm thermal pools that provide astounding views that soothe & clear the body and mind –perfect for “the gram.” River Relaxation: Next, the turquoise-colored river is well-managed and is naturally warm due to the thermal springs, a complete relaxing experience. During the tour, we will tell you about the history of the place and its importance to the sustainability of Mexico City. In your way, you will recognize the biological richness like birds, snakes, frogs and plants. We will arrive at a chinampa where you can get your hands dirty experiencing the ancestral technique of cultivation and discovering why it is considered a world heritage. Also, you will get involve in the diary activities in the chinampa like crop irrigation, harvest or seeding. Before going back to land, you will have time to relax and enjoy the peace of the place. This is a cultural tour that helps to promote the community development.

During this experience, you will learn to cook the famous "tacos al pastor" with my dad, a professional instructor and culinary artist, who will share his tips and recipes with you. We'll meet at the local market to buy ingredients and learn more about Mexican spices and food. Then we'll return to my family home, where you will learn how to marinate the meat for the tacos. You will prepare red salsa, green salsa, and guacamole, and make your own tortillas on the traditional Mexican "Comal"—a smooth, flat griddle. At the end, we'll put everything together to make the tacos, sit and enjoy what you have prepared, and learn a little more about Mexican gastronomy. Iniciaremos nuestro recorrido a las 9 am, esto lo hacemos para aprovechar el día, recuerda que el tour incluye el transporte tanto de ida como de vuelta a tu hospedaje. Posterior a ello nos trasladaremos a Coyoacán iniciaremos nuestra visita recorriendo sus calles, créeme que es un lugar mágico que estoy seguro te va a fascinar, tendremos tiempos de recorrer el mercado de Coyoacan, algo que hace increíble a este lugar es que en todo el recorrido podrás tomar las mejores fotos. Pasaremos a una cafetería que se llama Jarocho, aqui podrás degustar de un churro mas una taza de chocolate y café. We’ll see +20 top sites, eat/drink a lot, and live one day as a REAL local. We start in Guerrero neighborhood, a non-touristic area but a very traditional barrio that most visitors never see. After a typical breakfast , we’ll explore the biggest local market where my mom buys the groceries for my enchiladas. Then, we’ll take the metro (it's safe!) to visit the Revolution Monument and talk about the bloodiest mexican war. After that, we’ll share amazing/tragic stories and take a break to drink pulque (prehispanic beverage) in a local bar.
