Me and my family of 5 felt right at home and comfortable in Elisa home. The location was private and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. The location was only 20-30 mins away to major DC attractions. If in the area again we would definitely return.

Excellent stay at RivahLife! The views were spectacular and the home was exactly as described. Easy to find with lots of stuff for the kids and adults. Looking forward to returning during the warmer months as the fishing, boating, and swimming would be more desirable. Thanks for the high chair and portable crib. Those things really help when traveling with kids.

I’ve stayed at a lot of Airbnb’s and this was easily one of the best. Everything was exactly as described, and maybe even better than described. It had tons of amenities and a well stocked kitchen perfect for our large family. Spotless and beautiful. I highly recommend this home and would gladly stay there again.

This house is perfect for large groups. It is very spacious, with plenty of room to spread out and get comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the dock taking in the serene natural beauty of the Creek and observing the local birdlife, including Kingfishers, Great Blue Herons, and Bald Eagles. The house is situated very near to the entrance of Lookout Point State Park which we greatly enjoyed exploring on bicycles. Seeing a large wedge of Tundra Swans fly overhead was a special moment. If you want to spend some time relaxing in a beautiful setting in a beautiful and very interesting area with a large group, this house will serve you well.

We had a quick weekend getaway and loved every moment. House was perfect for our group of 10. Beds were comfortable and the fire pit was amazing. The house came with everything we needed along with extras we didn’t even expect. Denise was a wonderful host and we will definitely be back!

We had the pleasure of staying here during the winter while we looked for a place to live. It was perfect! Quiet and peaceful yet super close to all restaurants and stores. We had some snowfall and the views were stunning! Once it warmed up we even got to see some wild life in the woods behind us. Lovely huge porch! Lots of space in garden escape. Can bring the entire family and more!!! Nice big driveway for easy turned around. Patrick was beyond responsive for all my questions.Whether is was just informing be as something as simple as an Internet outage in the area or we had one situation with an unsure smell. Patrick acted immediately on the problem and it was resolved within 2 hours from start to finish. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Our family traveled from South Carolina for a funeral in LaPlata MD (a short drive away from this home). Jane's property was just what we needed to accommodate our family of 6. The house was clean, comfortable and well equip with everything that was needed. The ping pong table in the garage provided much needed entertainment when we had down time. The views were absolutely beautiful and we can not wait to come back. While there we enjoyed crabs at Captain John's crab house a couple of miles away. I would totally recommend this home to anyone that is traveling for business, leisure or just a peaceful, quiet getaway. Thanks Jane for your hospitality and sharing your beautiful home with us.

Fantastic location!! Every day we walked to have breakfast in an amazing nearby restaurant and from there walked some more to get to Capitol Hill, Desiree was a great host very responsive, the place was very clean, exactly what we were looking for

We just returned from five nights at Betsy's place, and we wished we could have stayed even longer! The space was perfect for our needs - clean, comfortable, close to everything, and even had a washer and dryer - very helpful when traveling with kids! I was nervous about finding street parking given we have a large SUV, but we had no problem finding spaces close to the apartment each day we were there. The parking permit Betsy provided allowed for this easy parking. We can't say enough good things about our stay, and we are already planning our next visit!

Great place to stay for a family - especially with a baby. Parking was not bad but a lot of options are walkable. Would definitely stay again.

Great stay very close to family and all Capitol Hill has to offer. Two bedrooms are rare in this area. Anne was a wonderful host.

This was our 2nd stay here...a wonderful home base when visiting DC! Colorful, cozy, sparkling clean & spacious...we enjoy comfortably relaxing in a convenient city location. I had a great experience staying at Robin’s place on a solo trip to DC. The apartment was exactly as described and the location was great. Easy walk to the metro and tons of restaurants nearby. Trader Joe’s is close by as are other shops. Would definitely stay again.

This was a very comfortable apartment for our 4-days stay. From our experience staying nearby, basement apartments can sometimes have unexpected issues. This one has clearly been built right. We had good hot water, great water pressure and very responsive heating & AC. And when we wanted to air things out, we could open windows to let the breeze blow through. The bed was especially comfortable. Kitchen is well supplied. And everything was easy to access. We especially appreciated the TV with a great selection of channels & streaming options. This is a small, galley-style apartment. So be advised that it’s a tight fit. But overall, we have no complaints.

We loved staying at Heather’s place. Great location - pretty and quiet with some cafes and restaurants nearby. Walked to the Washington Mall on day one. It’s a long walk but doable. Scooters are everywhere so easy to get around quickly.

Celia’s place was great!!! It was very clean and comfortable; we definitely enjoyed our stay. Plus, there were very clear instructions and many things labeled in the apartment, along with some snacks!

Stayed here with two of my friends for a long weekend and we had a wonderful time! Room was incredibly clean and very spacious, with a lovely kichenette. Staff were amazing, amenities like the pool and hot tub were great, and overall a great experience. Janee was also super helpful, kind, and responsive!

House was great with space for everyone whether we gathered for a meal or game wanted to spread out. Super easy walk to the beach and boardwalk. GREAT coffee shop and a few gems of restaurants and shops-we were definitely there in off season and the town was not fully opened - lots of opportunity in the town and lots of places getting opened for the season! Would be a great place for a quick summer getaway

Our visit is always wonderful not only for the lovely setting and convenience of being in town, but for the gracious hospitality. Not only are Chris and Kate welcoming and attend to any needs, their staff at the Oxford Market are also marvelous folks. The cottage is a great fit for my elderly parents as it is all on one floor. The location is perfect as you can walk to many delightful places. My Dad enjoyed getting the newspaper and homemade muffins each morning. Just perfect! Thank you! Katie Dodds

Es war das perfekte Apartment für unseren Städte Trip! Die Lage am Capitol Hill ist fantastisch und in 20 Minuten Fussnähe zum Capitol und vielen Museen. Es ist ein ruhiges Wohnviertel mit einigen netten Restaurants in der Nähe! Wenn ich nochmals nach Washington D.C gehen werde, würde ich wieder dieses Apartment buchen!

First time we vacationed in an area that we could park our car and leave it. The busline and Metro were easy enough to navigate, even for seniors. Raul was a big help and answered us promptly.

Clean and comfortable air bnb - worked well as a family of 5. Walkable to metro which is what we used for the majority of our transportation. Beds were very comfortable and area felt super safe and community based. Thanks for a great stay!

I would definitely recommend this property. Everything went perfectly. It was conveniently located to restaurants, shopping and the waterfront.
