My wife and I have stayed at The Fish House several times. It is a wonderful respite from our urban home life. A great place to relax and appreciate the Northern Neck lifestyle. We love it here!

The room was super clean, with a nice balcony, in a resort area that was scenic and safe. Close to all the historic attractions I wanted to visit. Lisa was a responsive and friendly host.

This was our third stay at Clifton, so we and our 2 dogs obviously like staying there. The location is perfect for getting around Matthews as we continue to explore that part of the region. Very nice stay and we look forward to coming back. Bart and Sharon Cameron November 2024

My husband and I absolutely enjoyed our stay here at Sarah’s place. Her place made us feel right at home and we loved everything about it. We definitely want to come back and get this place again. She was very helpful and responded right away about a router my husband needed to work from home.

We really enjoyed our long Easter weekend at Nataly’s 1st floor apartment in Virginia Beach! Great location:quiet,private,pretty backyard with nice deck,outside shower, and view of the water & lots of animal entertainment: Herons,Egrets,Mallards,fish,squirrels and 1 possum at night! 😆 The apartment is perfect for 2 people: Very Clean,comfy, & the Queen size Bed was very comfortable and the linens smelled so good! Loved the bathroom too! There’s so much to do, so many great places to eat at & funky bars & beer places to experience! Do yourself a favor and take a walk or rent bikes: You’re close enough to the beach-go enjoy it! We recommend “Rudee’s Tours”-The Dolphin Boat Cruise was AWESOME! We’ll be back! We had such a wonderful time staying at Holmes and Kim’s lovely home. This stay is blocks away from the beautiful beach and boardwalk. We enjoyed a peaceful stay with wonderful weather to match, and Kim and Holmes were extremely friendly and responsive. We would definitely stay again 😊. Thank you!

The pictures don’t do this place justice. It’s bright and inviting. It’s at the less crowded end of the boardwalk but still walkable. All the fixtures are high quality; it has a very well equipped kitchen; and the beds are very comfortable. I’d definitely stay here again.

Erin’s place was the getaway that we definitely needed. We spent our time enjoying the sunsets (stunning pastel colors across the water), watching movies, cooking together, and had a nice meal at a local diner, too (which was recommended in the listing)! The place was so clean, well equipped, and very homey/comfortable. Being situated right on the beach, where in the mornings you can see all of the bay from the windows in the living room and kitchen. Erin was so personable and responsive which we so appreciated. She gave all the information you could need about not just the AirBnB, but the surroundings as well. We felt right at home. They have wonderful neighbors who we met on the beach one of the evenings. Everyone was just so friendly. They were enjoying a beach fire and we talked for a while about how amazing the area is. We have already decided we absolutely will be staying here again! This is the best kept secret quiet beach hideaway! My partner and I LOVED it!

This home is absolutely beautiful. I loved being able to wake up early and watch the sun rise over the Chesapeake bay. Even though it was cold the kids enjoyed splashing in the water with their rain boots. We spent the Wednesday before Thanksgiving at colonial Williamsburg. Afterwards we ate at Captain George’s, a place Tas recommended. It was absolutely worth it. I was also pleased with being able to make a good Thanksgiving meal. The stay was relaxing and peaceful. We would love to come back in the near future.

We stayed in Virginia for a bachelorette getaway. We had a wonderful time. It was definitely home away from home. The house is beautiful, clean, spacious, and I appreciate the thoughtfulness of the host for the guest. Amazing view over the lake.

Julenn had to be the best host we’ve ever had!!! The host was extremely responsive, and updated us every step of the way. The home was an excellent condition and the amenities were outstanding. My family felt very welcome with the personal note, basket of snacks, and a chilled bottle of Moscato in the refrigerator waiting for us! The Fishing was fun, no keepers, but the kids had fun catching Croaker‘s and white perch in the backyard. We most definitely will be spending time here again.

One of the very best Air BnB rentals we've ever had. The other one we normally use in the NN was rented for the dates we wanted. This one was available, it looked good, so we gave it a try. It's tied as our #1 favorite place to stay. We'll be back here next year as it is so close and convenient to everything and the home was terrific!

LOVED our stay here, we were in town visiting a family member that is stationed in the area. Place was easy to find and had so much to do in the area. The home was so adorable I loved the Blue touches all over with the beachy theme. Everything was a described. We had one small concert and Samantha jumped into action to make sure it was taken care of and was great with following up to make sure we were happy with the resolution. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!

We had a wonderful stay in Cape Charles. We loved being able to just walk out the door and have lots of shops and restaurants just a few steps away. The kitchen was gorgeous and the beds were very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the outdoor deck area. What a great spot to stay in this cute town!

I have nothing but positives to say about this place, the location, and Merlyn, it was all just perfect! From the clear, friendly and helpful instructions prior to arrival, the sign greeting us in the parking lot saying "Welcome Teigre family", to discovering that there was coffee in the kitchen for us in the morning (we weren't sure about this, but that's really great when you get in really late the night before), to our boys playing ball on the beach (beach toys available in the gym), my wife and I enjoying our coffee on the beach in the morning, to our friendly chat as we bumped into Rick & Merlyn, the hosts, all through to our check-out. Driving downtown was a 20 minute easy drive, we spent quite a bit of our time there, so it was nice to stay at a place on the beach. If we ever come back to Norfolk, VA, we would love to stay here again and we can highly recommend it and its wonderful hosts for anyone who comes to the area!

We really enjoyed our stay! Was really amazing to be able to view the sunrise from bed! Also sitting on the private deck watching the ocean was very peaceful! The apartment was very well stocked and the kitchen worked well for preparing our meals! The charcoal grill on the back porch was very handy! It was a wonderful beachfront experience! Thanks

We enjoyed staying at Kelly's place in VB. Its an ideal location for anyone who wants to stay right at the boardwalk. We witnessed amazing sunrises and moonrises. The ocean was right in front of us and from the 6th floor, the view was expansive. A lot of restaurants were also nearby. Kelly was always very communicative, polite and professional. The apartment was clean with the kitchen well stocked with utensils The bedrooms were of a pretty large size. And parking was on the premises. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and holiday for us. We strongly recommend Kelly's place.

The unit was as pictured and described. Very clean. Beautiful location and view. It was perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults + 2 kids). Very convenient location to beach, walking / running path and bike riding. Host was easy to contact, friendly and responsive.

The condo was in the perfect location. The room was the perfect size for our family. We loved the easy access to the beach and free parking for 1 vehicle. There were many restaurants in walking distance. We loved the boardwalk! This place was awesome!
