The location was perfect!!! We went on numerous outings and everything was only minutes away!!! The home is in a forested area do we saw wild birds at the feeder every day. Thanks to Kyoto for providing the birdseed. There were slippers provided and all the toiletries. The kitchen was well stocked with breakfast foods and supplies making it easy to cook meals.

Lovely staff, great location and great price! Would highly recommend to everyone!

The hosts were very accomodating and lovely to myself, my partner and my little girl. Such a lovely breakfast too. Will definitely be booking again in the future.

This is our second time staying at Koko guest house. Kyoko was an excellent host, very informative, thoughtful and friendly. The whole house was spotless, toilet was so clean it just felt like home. If we are coming back to Dandenong we would definitely stay here again. . Thank you for sharing your special place with us.

It was such a treat to spend time at this guesthouse. Beautiful countryside surrounds close to great hikes and outdoor adventures. Cozy stay, rustic charm, delicious food and great sense of company and community.

We loved our stay at Maree and Leo's. The space was beautiful and clean with the most amazing views of scenery below. It was extremely peaceful and quiet, but there was no shortage of things to do and see a short drive away. The Easter eggs and gift on check in were so thoughtful and lovely! We were very happy with our entire stay there. Bernard the dog visited us a few times and was extremely friendly and open to us patting him over the fence. Overall we would definitely recommend Maree and Leo's place and hope to be back if we stay in the area again!

We had a wonderful time here - the place is exquisite. The decor was beautifully styled and we particularly loved the fireplace and giant bathtub! Every amenity we needed was there waiting for us and it was just a short walk down to Olinda Village and beautiful parklands. This felt like a luxury version of our own home and we hope to come back again next year. Thank you for having us!

Had a magical time staying here ✨️ My partner and I went up for our anniversary and had a great time soaking in the hot tub, going on beautiful local walks and using the outdoor fire 🥰 Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to unwind in nature. The animals were super cute and not very noisy! Helen was quick with communication and an excellent host who even gave us a lift to the station at the end!!! Thank you again so much Helen 💖

Beautiful house and location! We needed a place for a night because we had a wedding to attend nearby and Susan’s place was perfect.

We had such a wonderful stay at Amanda’s Garden Studio in Emerald. The space was cozy, inviting, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable — we slept so well! The surrounding garden was absolutely beautiful, clearly well looked after and cared for, which made the whole setting feel even more special. Amanda and Peter were lovely hosts — very warm, accommodating, and quick to respond to any queries we had. They even gave us great suggestions for dinner on the night we arrived. We booked this airbnb because we were visiting a friend in the area. This area is really beautiful and well worth a visit, everything we loved about the nature came together in this airbnb. The hosts arranged this little studio beautifully, and thought about every detail, using the space very efficiently. All was clean and cozy; because of all the windows it feels as if you are right outside in the forest. Michaela surprised us with some delicious muffins and it was nice getting recommendations about the area from her and Mark. We were lucky that our friend took us out everywhere, but we saw that many places we visited were captured in the visitors map and folder. Even if you are new to the area, or like to be surprised, this airbnb has it all. The garden was especially pretty and we heard some of the kookaburras in the morning, along with many other birdsong. It’s centrally located as well, with Tecoma station right around the corner. Percect for escaping Melbourne. Thank you so much!

“The Nest” was as per the photos & Mel’s description. However more spacious than it appears in photos. We felt at home & comfortable. The bush outlook & bird life also add to feel of the place. The Local Gin a bonus, thanks Mel. Mel is a great communicator & host. Would stay again.

Absolutely stunning location surrounded by bush and birds, very close to the local shops and eateries. Perfect accommodation for the two of us with everything we needed. Mary and Anders are amazing hosts who went out of their way to entertain us. We didn't have a car, so Mary very kindly offered to take us on a tiki tour around the vineyards - heaps of fun! We were also driven to the wedding we attended in Anders epic old car. Definitely recommend this place and hope to stay again some day :)

Very cozy and clean home, there is everything you need, great location and easy to find. The furniture is very nice and comfortable!

This sweet little cottage was so special! I’ve already recommended it to friends and family. It has tiny house vibes with a cute outdoor fire pit and marshmallows to go with it (we’ll be using these on our next visit). The perfect place to relax after a wedding in the Dandenong ranges. Sassafras is truly one of my favourite escapes. Perfect location, thoughtful hosts and the cutest place to stay! 10/10

We have stayed at Diane’s place several times and it is always lovely to arrive at such a relaxing space. The retreat is well equipped, very clean and has lovely views out to the garden. Our two small dogs love to visit too and enjoy playing in the secure backyard. Will definitely be back soon!
