The Dairy Barn was perfect for our weekend with the dogs! The deck views are fantastic too!

Charming house that truly felt like staying at Grandmom’s in the country. Large enough for a bigger family, 2 small families or a small group of friends. Lots of room to spread out. Kitchen was stocked with plenty of what would be needed for cooking meals. The surrounding area was beautiful. Perfect peaceful scenery for sitting on that front porch swing listening to the birds and watching calves chasing one another on the hillside. Freshly baked brownies were a thoughtful treat waiting for us when we arrived. Would definitely stay again.

An awesome and fun stay on the bus! Just like in the pictures. The views were beautiful. Hosts were great! We did some pretty walks/trails in the surrounding area. Highly recommend!

This airbnb is the perfect getaway. My partner and I spent valentines weekend here, and even though the weather was far from ideal, we had an incredible time. Marion is only a 30 minute drive and has all kinds of fun places to shop and see. Not to mention, the people are so kind. The place is very cozy and a great place to just hang out. While it does have two bedrooms, the place is extremely small, so just keep that in mind. A few things to note: We had no cell service for the last 20-30 minutes of the drive until able to connect to the wifi. Also, i am not sure if noted, but definitely bring a 4wd vehicle. The roads are very steep, and if it rains you could find yourself in a predicament. The house is also completely in the woods, so we did find a few spiders inside during our stay. Also, while it is an easy drive, the closest towns are ~30 minute drive away. This was truly one of the best little vacations we’ve had. so relaxing, so fun. We’re already planning our next trip back!

Very nice cabin and clean. If being the only one on the top of a mountain is your thing, this is it. Alison was great. Views were amazing. Like her directions clearly say some folks find it difficult to find at night. When it’s 2am after seeing Metallica at VA Tech it was not fun trying ato find it. Expect multiple deer, rabbits and raccoons at the very least!

The cabin was a beautiful, peaceful, and quiet little getaway. There are trails adjacent to the cabin that were easily walkable, though there was some incline from the cabin to the ridge. We woke up early to watch the sunrise and were surprised to have a small family of deer grazing right next to the cabin. It was a little chilly while we were there, but the heating system and the fireplace quickly warmed the whole cabin. The price and the setting were awesome and we will probably book another stay in the future. Access is thru a dirt road that we navigated in a Camry.

The cabin was a perfect stay for us and our pup! She enjoyed the wide yard and the cozy fireplace! The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and the water pressure on the shower was excellent! The bed had the softest sheets I have ever felt so I had to peek at the label to get some of my own! The cabin is only about a 30 minute drive from some great breweries, and close to Wytheville where there is great food, beer, and shopping. We even drove by the Graham mansion that runs a scare house in the Fall! The copious brochures were helpful in planning our day and there were multiple spots on the property where we snapped photos. The property is close to the road but you wouldn't know it! We loved it!

This was such a beautiful and lovely cabin right on the water. We basically sat on the screened in porch all day enjoying the tranquility and peacefulness hearing and watching the river. This place was perfect!!!!! Thank you for allowing us to stay with you!

It was lovely this time of year. The hyacinths and daffodils were blooming all around the house. It was such a beautiful setting. Horses were next door in the field and a little creek running behind the house. The location was just a few blocks from the main part of town. Lisa responded quickly when I texted her and was very helpful. If you are looking for a quiet retreat, but close to town and the interstate, this is the place for you.
