Village Escape

Our cosy little house is in the centre of the village of Messingham. There’s lots of pubs and eateries within walking distance. We have an Indian, Thai, Italian & dog friendly pubs with live music, hairdressers, beauty salons, a bakery & food shops. A short drive away there’s a Nature reserve, play barn, golf, tennis, fishing & a little zoo as well as Blyton ice cream & racetrack. A little stream with ducks is in the next village. We welcome families, couples, business people & contractor’s.

Get ready to relax in a peaceful hideaway on the edge of the conservation village of Scawby. Fully contained, fully furnished flat set in the grounds of a country home. Situated close to the M180 this is an ideal spot for those visiting the area or working in Scunthorpe, Brigg, Barton and Elsham for both short and long term stays. The barn consists of three modern apartments which are ideal for both short and lengthy stays. Our apartments are The Gables (2 bed), The Mill (1 bed), The Smithy (1 bed). The Mill has been renovated to a high standard providing a contemporary feel whilst maintaining the original exposed beams and features where possible.
