Had the best time at the cute Cockatoo Cottage. We went during autumn, which is already beautiful as it is up in the hills, but adding some rain to the equation made everything just a little bit better. The cottage and its surroundings are fully immersed in nature, and you can always see and hear the birds chirping away as they go about their day. It is very clear that Kathy and Michel put a lot of thought and work into making Cockatoo Cottage the perfect nest among the hills, and we couldn't be more happy about staying there. Such an amazing experience, and would recommend to everyone!

A wonderful place to stay that is in a brilliant location close to the Adelaide CBD. Exceptionally clean and comfortable with all the amenities you could need! The hosts are very accessible and have excellent and prompt communication. This is the second time we have stayed and highly recommend and will not hesitate to book again in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at Brett's place. The level of hospitality was outstanding. it was a home away from home. He was generous and left yummy food for us. He had great suggestions for the best things to do. The bikes allowed us to explore the nearby bike track and we could have done even more like visit the winery in the town, we just ran out of time.. Brett himself was friendly, helpful but unobtrusive. The only shared area is the carport, otherwise he gives you exclusive use of the patio and outside space. We would love to visit again..

Shannon's place was lovely. We stayed for 3 nights with another couple while we explored the Barossa. The place was super cute and very clean. We felt right at home as we were welcomed with complements treat and local pantry goods. The house was in a great location with only a short walk down the street to the main road in down where we had a number of amazing cafes and restaurants to choose from. Shannon also provided recommendations of their favourite places in town along with all the information for the house amenities. Overall we had a great stay and would love to stay again in the future.

Beautiful place to stay, the views are spectacular and it’s very peaceful at Karl and Natalie’s. The space is well designed and modern with comfortable bed and aircon and fans which was much needed on our visit. Enjoyed a wine with Karl which they had made which was a nice touch. Very friendly hosts and a beautiful outdoor deck for relaxing. Highly recommend

great place - would definitely stay here again when I visit Adelaide again

My partner and myself stayed at The House on Soul Hill for our 6 year anniversary - and safe to say we absolutely fell in love with it! the property itself is beautiful with touches of curated local art and produce (our breakfast box was delightful!) as well as having a simply breathtaking view of the fields of Lobethal. The entire place felt inviting, calming and peaceful and we had everything we needed and more - some personal highlights being the record player (the Beatles were on repeat!) the selection of local organic teas, and the most comfortable bed. Luke and Aylwen were super responsive, friendly, and gave us some great recommendations for local restaurants and businesses - they even gave us free coffee vouchers to use at their local cafe Emma and Ivy (a must visit - the coffee is incredible) which was unbelievably kind of them 🥰 This is a must visit - we will definitely be returning and I strongly encourage everyone to experience a weekend at The House on Soul Hill 🫶🏻

My partner and I loved our little getaway at Kathy’s place. It has everything you need. We loved the homely feel of the place and the coffee machine is a bonus! The area is great and our kelpie enjoyed her stay too and loved going for walks around the lake. We would stay here again for sure! Thanks Kathy :)

An amazing experience in the heart of the Barossa! The Airbnb was spotless and the amount of food and provisions left for us would feed an army! It was also a lovely gesture to have the 'personal' 'in the vines' bottle of wine too. Andrew and Josie gave us so many tips and ideas for our stay, which began with a great visit to the early Farmers Market. Ideal location and easy reach for a winery tour. Walked to Angaston a couple of times too! Highly recommended!
