Comfortable beds, warm and dry location on a very rainy weekend. Downspout may need to be repaired. Nice family feeling in the home. Valerie responded quickly and helpfully to every inquiry. Overall, a very pleasant place to stay. Home is well maintained for its age

Betsy’s place was just the retreat my friends and I needed. Private, quiet and adventurous walk to the beach. The house had some outdated appliances but everything was well kept and functioning. The only issue was the Airbnb not being cleaned by check in time. The housecleaner showed up late but she was professional and got right to work. Betsy was more than accommodating when she received the news and offered a refund on the cleaning fee. Betsy always communicated within a reasonable time making everything easy. 5/5 recommend this location. Will definitely be booking again in the future.

Great access to the beach. We enjoyed the vacation home vibe. Hotel-quality fresh sheets, pillow, and towels. Great mattress. WiFi at 50 mps so work video meetings went smoothly. Thrilled to find a heavy duty card table in the closet - it served as a desk. We can see ourselves staying here again.

We loved everything about the Huckleberry house, and Debra is a perfect host! Very clean, spacious and comfortable, peaceful, beautiful lake view, well-stocked kitchen and hot tub was perfect after a day along the coast!

Amazing views, nothing better to wake up and enjoy a cup of coffee on the deck. It was a shame the hot tub was out of commission. Otherwise everything was great and would stay here again.

We LOVED our stay at River Front!! The location right next to the Florence Hwy 101 bridge was AMAZING – a place from which to watch the tidal action, fishermen going up and down the river, birds and seals, and lovely sunsets from either the apartment or wonderful deck!! Another plus was being right in the cute town of Florence with many eateries and shops in which to browse. We just walked across the street to a fun restaurant for dinner and a cute coffee shop was immediately next door. The location gave as a wonderful base to explore other parts of the coast both north and south of Florence for day trips. We hope to return to this wonderful accommodation!! The apartment was immaculate.

I have travelled all over the world, and can say that The Lodge Below the Falls is a very special place, created with love and deep appreciation for the nature surrounding it. This is a place to reconnect, to create, to rest, to explore, and to dream. The two giant waterfalls above and the pristine stream flowing by, the sauna, and the cozy and comfortable spaces around the woodstove and open kitchen/dining areas offer settings for our busy minds to unwind, and the breath of inspiration to arise. The 22-mile drive to and from town is actually perfect as it is a beautiful drive, and is just long enough to give yourself a chance to slow down and shift gears to a relaxed state of mind. It is a truly rare treat to be able to enjoy such a unique and beautiful space!

This is a beautiful place to stay. Worked very well for our family’s birthday celebration. Would certainly stay again.
