We had a blast at the cabin for New Year’s celebrations. The house was very clean and organized. The driveway was very steep as described- luckily we had an SUV! The gas fireplace was beautiful and we could see the the fireworks show from the fire pit on our lakefront. We are already discussing our next trip back!

Great place to stay if skiing at whiteface! Robert and Nancy were extremely helpful and quick to respond. Would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway to lake placid.

Awesome quiet spot with friendly hosts. Lots of land to explore in a great area. Trails on their land and across the street. So easy to relax or be active.

Our first time at Lynda's home in the woods. Place was exactly how described! Was very cozy and we had everything we needed for our stay. Great location, very private and close to skiing and town. We enjoyed to sauna every day. We got to relax and really enjoy ourselves. Lynda was very quickly to respond and was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely plan to go back, we loved it!

Very good layout — two separate, private bedrooms and baths and a common space that was easy to be in. It was ideal for my wife and me in one area and my daughter and her kids in the other. Andria was an attentive and flexible host. We look forward to returning.

Our group had an all-around incredible experience at this house. The location is unbeatable, the property was beautiful and the hosts were very attentive. I hope to stay here again on my next trip to beautiful Lake Placid!

Kate's home was all and so much more that we were hoping for. Prior to checking in Kate provided us with an opportunity to ask any questions which she answered in a timely fashion. She also has a board where any additional information you might need is. The home is so close to local attractions and only about 20mins from Whiteface. It immediately felt like home when we walked in. Comfortable couches and beds, plenty of linens and cozy blankets. Kate has decorated her home so well. The kitchen was large and fully stocked with any thing you could need. We were thrilled to bring our dogs with us to enjoy some snow. The fully fenced backyard was large and the perfect place for the dogs to run! Kate we can't thank you enough for sharing your gorgeous home with us. Highly recommend Kate's home. We hope to be back next year!

This is a great spot for Lake Placid stays. It's far enough out of the village to be peaceful but only takes a few minutes to drive into town. Easy to make a quick exit to the winter venues and had a nice neighborhood store for coffee and sandwiches. The house is very comfortable and clean with good parking. Everything was in good working order and was accurately described on the Airbnb website. I will definitely stay here again when I come back for more winter fun!

Perfect place to stay while hiking in Placid. Also, the hot tub is the perfect way to end a long day of hiking. We have stayed at phoebes place twice now and it was clean, we had everything we needed and phoebe is very kind!

Our stay was very nice! Our top requests are clean, quiet and comfortable beds. All three were met. Pat, was very friendly and helpful with our stay. I would stay there again!

My 13 friends and I recently took a fall break trip to Adirondacks, and it was the most amazing, relaxing time thanks to Antoine’s beautiful airbnb. As soon as we walked in, we were brought into another world—with the most eclectic artwork and interior design—and yet still felt at home. Antoine was the most welcoming and responsive host we could have possibly gotten; he even provided us with tips on possible local adventures! I absolutely loved making memories with my best friends in all of the rooms (and the place is massive!) Overall, this was the most fantastic experience, and I highly recommend this airbnb to anyone looking to enjoy their trip to the Adirondacks!

Very responsive. Very clean. Second time we’ve stayed and now there is added seating which is even better. Plus slippers!

Amazing suite on second floor of motel. HUGE beautiful kitchen/family room with amazing 360 windows and views! Kitchen is beautiful. Tile floors heated!! Lots of storage for ski equipment. Bathrooms large and clean. Only one bedroom with kind size bed but huge! 2 roll away beds in closet and 3 closets are so large that we had our kids on the roll aways in those. All in all fantastic rental and would absolutely stay again!!

Genuinely even better than anticipated. Place is bigger than it looks, very spacious, clean, all amenities, great location, quick response from hosts. Loved every moment.

Beautifully kept home with all the necessary amenities. Had a good time with family and kids. Anna was very responsive and accommodating. The games room, hot tub and sauna was great.

This place is wonderful and within walking distance to the lake and the main town. It is also very close to the golf course which must be nice in the warmer months. We were there in the winter; the home was cozy and had everything our family of four needed. We also used the hotel pool and gym. I highly recommend it!

Perfect little get away cabin tucked in the woods. Easy, walkable access to the lake with beautiful views. Hosts were welcoming, helpful and informative from the start. Would love to stay here again!

Joe’s Cabin was a perfect space for our family! Long driveway was perfect for sledding with our 3 year old, we felt like we were in the middle of nowhere yet so close to the main street in lake placid. Skiing was great and not a far drive from whiteface either. Amazing views out of the living room windows of the mountains in the distance. Snowed every day we were there and there was a snowplow that always made his way down the road and driveway. Joe was a great host and very accommodating. Loved being able to bring our dog with us as well!

Stayed at Fiona’s place for a couple days as part of a road trip with my dog. Plenty of space for a medium size dog and two adults - and for a dog used to a bigger city/apartment living having the yard and being about to enjoy the low stress walkable city of Burlington was so relaxing. The space and amenities are exactly as described. We will definitely keep this spot on the top of our list if we ever are back in the area!

Highly recommended space and host! Kurt is hands down an A+ super host! We arrived in Burlington in the evening with having another Airbnb reservation that we found not to be a good fit for us! Frantically searching for other Airbnb accommodations for the night, several hosts had availability but showed no urgency to help us. Kurt literally stopped what he was doing to go and turn lights and heat on for us. He also left water, a couple beers, and creamer in the fridge for our morning coffee, which too was provided. The space is exactly how it was pictured. Clean, uncluttered, and beautiful! Kurt’s place has great location in a charming quiet neighborhood with driveway parking. Comfortable bed and great water pressure in the shower was also great to have! Finding this place last minute was the cherry on top of our amazing Burlington experience….and we will be back! Thanks again

-We enjoyed the cottage feel. -Even though it was close to the other cottage, we enjoyed our own space and privacy. -The bed and pillows were very comfortable— I’m hard to please and usually bring my own pillow, but I forgot it. -Our dog was happy that he could go outside, sniff around, and do his business in the fenced in yard. -One suggestion is to dial back the room freshener. We are both scent sensitive. There were some nice smells— pine and cinnamon— but it was a lot for those of us with allergies and finicky noses. Don’t let that turn you away! A plug-in can be removed! -This rental is a class act— tasteful and practical. We loved it, will recommend it to friends, and will probably book it again! Thank you, Sharon, for paying attention to the details. They really matter. Nice job!

Genevieve's bungalow was the perfect home base for a trip to visit UVM with my daughter. The location was perfect — walkable to the lake and downtown. We rented a car so were able to drive to campus in just minutes. Her place was cozy and charming as promised. We loved the huge library of books and beautiful art on the walls. Plus, visits from Cecil the cat made it all the better. Genevieve was very easy to communicate with, directions to get inside etc. were clear, and we felt well taken care of. I can't recommend her place enough. My daughter is likely to attend UVM in the fall, and we'll be sure to book this AirBnB again.

This was our second stay at this lovely Airbnb. We are always sure to open all the windows to let the sound of the water add to the perfect atmosphere of the space. You can’t go wrong with the location. Easy to get to Burlington and surrounding towns. This will always be our first option when looking to stay in the area!
