Micheal and Rex were great hosts. We quite enjoyed every bit of our stay. The property is well kept, the lake access through a trail down their property is a pebble beach and great for a dip or swim in the lake. They provided some good recommendations for spots to hit and things to do nearby. They provided us with great breakfast with almost everything grown or produced on their land. The view from the breakfast spot was amazing. To top off the trip, we were lucky enough to have met an artist after complimenting the great artwork in the cabin and bought a few pieces of art from them as well.

Beautiful spot, house was very clean. Ryan and Sara were both very accommodating with check in and check out and ensuring we had everything we needed and comfortable! Would definitely recommend this place for a group of people! Huge kitchen and living area for everyone to get together! The hot tub and sauna were a nice touch! We were there in March but would love to come back in the summer!

Exceptional place to stay! Our usual place we stay at was booked. We took a ‘gamble’ trying out this place- and boy was it incredible! The place is pristine and stocked with everything you need. Beautiful surroundings, and we were fortunate to catch the most amazing display of the Northern Lights! Highly recommend!

The house was excellent and had everything we needed. It felt like home, cozy, with a great view! It was filled with all dishes we needed, as well as towels and blankets. I celebrated my birthday there and it accommodated my friends and family. I definitely recommend this place and would stay here again!

This place was perfect for a little family reunion. 5 bedrooms was great for everyone to have some privacy. Convenient location to everything in town.

What a treat to have so much privacy, complete with modern amenities in an area that is dominated by older, traditional cottages. French River is a gem of a place and how lucky we were to enjoy it in David's modern 'bunkie'. We were blessed to have a clear and calm night on Oct.10th for peak Northern Lights show. Mornings were spent visiting a nearby beaver den by kayak or canoe. Our next visit back will include fishing which is what the area is known for. Would love to come back during the summer season to enjoy water sports and late nights on the covered porch. Thank you Dave and your crew for making our stay enjoyable.

We had an amazing stay, the lake views were stunning, and the property itself was peaceful and incredibly well-kept. We especially loved spending time outside, it’s such a perfect space to relax and unwind. Everything was just what we needed. We’d love to come back sometime!
