The Cane Patch is our ‘Go to’ place when we are staying in Dahlonega. We love this place and rent it at least twice a year without fail. Ross and Evelyn are Super Hosts, have a hidden gem of a place, and have become our very good friends now for almost a decade. Walkable to town, the UNG campus, and any type of restaurant that you desire, this is the place to stay. Highly recommend!

We were at Hidden Cove (David's place) for one night to decompress from a weekend "conference." The space was perfect. The patio area was a particular blessing - beautiful, comfortable, peaceful. When we left on Monday morning, I realized after about 15 minutes that I'd left my purse (!!) in the apartment. I texted David and we headed back. What a relief when we came up the drive and there was my purse and knitting bag waiting for me on the step. Whew!! David was there and we had a delightful chat before setting off down the road again. :-). Thank you, David.

We had everything we needed for a three day stay while moving our daughter out of her sorority at Brenau! It was fine with Nishat that I used the washer/dryer for some throw rugs and towels of our daughter's which needed laundering before taking to our storage unit, and she even offered to let us double up using her washer, which wasn't necessary, but very thoughtful. She also was willing to have the unit ready early when I messaged her I wasn't feeling well, also ultimately not needed, but again, very thoughtful. Well stocked! We enjoyed the living room with many screened windows overlooking a beautiful and private back yard (you can turn off the air exchange to open the windows for fresh air without running the heat or ac), and we enjoyed the covered porch for morning coffee and pizza for dinner. The landscaping and neighborhood is upscale and gorgeous, but the unit is a bit dated. If you are a larger, plus size or very tall person, the bathroom and shower would be quite snug.

This is a beautiful country chic cabin with all the essentials for a weekend get away. Shannon added extra personalized touches and was so kind and thoughtful. Thank you! We loved every minute of Helen and your home.

This was my second time staying at Tonya’s place (but in a different unit) and it was wonderful - just as great as the first time! It was perfect for my needs and I felt right at home. This is a great option for a one-person stay close to town!

My wife and I were visiting the area for a wedding and ended our trip in this beautiful home! Mordecai was extremely quick with communication and ensured we had the best trip possible. Wish we could have stayed longer! Highly recommend if you are visiting the area.

Such a beautiful home and my fiancee and in-laws loved it! Very peaceful and tranquil area with a lovely view of the river out back. Game room and Jacuzzi were the best parts of the house. Tons of towels and amenities provided. 19 minutes from Helen and 18 minutes from a Walmart so it's placed in a decent area. The host communicates well and is very helpful with any questions you may have.

If ur looking for a quite and relaxing weekend this is the place for u from sun up to sun down. The only thing that its missing is a fire pit but the dock in the back will make up for that. Especially if u like to fish or read a book. I plan on rerent this place again.

Our stay was incredible! The home matched the listing exactly. Danielle and Erik were great communicators and made our trip super easy. Location was amazing - an easy walk to downtown Helen, which has so much to do! Amazing restaurants, bars, and shops. The outdoor space is stunning - right in the water. Easily accommodated our group, and we had a wonderful stay. We hope to stay here again next time we visit!

Belle Terre Chateau was only minutes from downtown Helen and was great for a large group; in our case, we had 7 adults and 3 children. We used this place as our base in Helen, fixing food in the kitchen or getting take out from the restaurants in Helen, which were expectedly overrun in the days between Christmas and New Year's Day. Bedrooms were as advertised; one connects oddly between the master and the front hallway. Four-person hot tub was great for morning coffee wake-up. A few other nits typical of AirBnB rentals during the holidays: - Cleaning was not complete before 3:00 PM. (Late cleaning was non-issue as we arrived after cleaning finished.) - Previous guests left garbage disposal jammed and indicated non-existent problem with Keurig coffee maker. (Kathryn arranged fix to disposal. We determined coffee maker was fine.) - The lock box on the door to the basement confused us. (We ignored it.) Would return if visiting Helen again.

We had a phenomenal stay in Helen, thanks to our wonderful host and excellent accommodations. After our drive to Helen, GA, we didn’t have to get back in the car once — the location was incredibly pedestrian-friendly. The house is situated on a hill, offering a private and quiet experience. It felt tucked away from the town yet was just a short walk down to everything Helen has to offer. Access to the river and nearby hiking trailheads was also a breeze. 10/10 would recommend — we hope to be back next year

We stayed here for a girls' weekend and had a great experience. The home was perfect for a peaceful and fun weekend. We loved sitting around the fireplace when the weather was chilly, or using the multiple outdoor spaces to lounge when the sun came out. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, the bedrooms were comfortable, and it was only 10 minutes from downtown Helen with all the shops and restaurants. We were in and out of the hot tub the whole weekend :) The driveway is steep and only fits 4 cars, but we made it work.

Urban Farmhouse is perfect for a weekend family getaway. It is very clean and location is everything. Just 14 mins away from downtown Helen. Once you’re done exploring nearby attractions, Kylee’s place is perfect to recharge and chill. We enjoyed the outdoor fireplace.

This was our second year staying at this location and it was just as great as the first. We could not have asked for a better spot. We highly recommend staying at this location. Super clean and nice.

We enjoyed our family trip to Helen GA. The location was convenient for us to walk all over town, even with elementary aged kids in tow. They also enjoyed splashing around in the river behind the property and at the playground just next door. The property itself met our needs, with space for everyone. We did note that the downstairs bunk bed was very tight, to the point where my 9yo felt too cramped on the lower bunk and chose to sleep on the floor. There are also some areas for improvement, like the back sliding door is very difficult to lock, the pocket door to the bunk room gets stuck in the open position, and the glass shower door seems unbalanced so it opens itself. Those were not dealbreakers for us, but would be nice to improve.

The pictures does not do this condo justice! The river view in the double decks is amazing! We loved having our coffee and late night drinks out on the deck. The location is perfect! Close enough to walk to just about everything… tubing outpost and the main downtown restaurants. But not right on top of the hustle and bustle so it makes it quiet. Very clean. Grateful for the starter packs for the dishwasher and laundry. We will definitely look to stay here again.

This is a great condo at the perfect location. One in our group has issues walking long distances but the location of this condo allowed him to walk every where the group walked. We enjoy sitting on the deck and relaxing. This best part is how courteous and attentive John is to every communication. We have stayed here a few times and plan to stay again. Thanks John for being a great host!

We loved our short stay at Dianella’s place. It was easy to access, clean and close to everything! Dianella was very accommodating, even last minute. We appreciate that!

Great little weekend getaway for our family of 4 including 2 small children. So many amenities and lots to do. The view from the patio with the porch swing was amazing!

The condo was perfect! Host responded to messages within just a few minutes. Perfect location in the downtown area. Very clean and well appointed. Would definitely stay again!!

This condo was a lovely place to stay in Helen! It was exactly as pictured and described, and around the corner from the great Betty’s grocery store/old time general store. They have the best baked goods in town, including humongous cookies! The unit was quite clean and very spacious. It is very centrally located and walking distance to everything in Helen. The dining table seats 6 and the living room seats at least that many on the sectional couch and chairs. Once you climb the 5 or so stairs to the unit, there are no more stairs since it is all on one level. Beds were quite comfortable! Two things of note: -The internet speed is fast at about 200 mbps, not the speed shown in the listing at the time of our booking. -You need to bring your own clothing hangers, since those are not always provided if the previous tenants took them home.

Beautiful place, everyone was so happy when they walked in. Everything you would need in a home was there, you could buy groceries and use the whole kitchen. Beds are a little on the stiff side. You can walk to downtown but it’s a little on the far side. If you like night life there’s a couple great spots near by. Hosts were easy to get ahold of and very responsive. They do hold their no cancellation policy, so if there’s an emergency please be aware they are hard set on no cancelling. If you wanted to relax inside, it was a very nice cozy space for multiple people in the living room. I also enjoyed the fireplace, as it was very cold outside.
