The apartment was very well set up and quite spacious. Dorothy had thought of everything - including beach towels and spade for the Hot Water Beach. It's on a canal which is lovely.....just a pity the weather was not conducive to sitting ourside and enjoying the outlook. Breakfast provisions were generous. Dorothy was friendly but not intrusive.

Perfect spot for Whitianga adventure, just down the road from all the restaurants and all the cool spots. So peaceful and quiet you can sit and watch all the boats heading out and coming back... even listen to the birds arguing on the estuary...

The apartment is spacious and modern with stunning views over the marina. It is well equipped with everything you could need. We received clear instructions making it easy to find and access the property. We had a very enjoyable few days exploring the beautiful coastline around Whitianga.

Superb location with the most amazing views. Place was extremely clean, very spacious and had everything you could possibly require (great cutlery & crockery, glass wear and plenty of platters and serving bowls). Lovely big dining table, plenty seating inside and out. Easy access to the beach with a lovely long stretch of beachfront to walk all the way down to the lagoon and pier where you can fish. Pool was heated and hot tub available. Beds were extremely comfortable and plenty of storage space available. Highly recommend and already looking to see when I can come again.

Muriel gives excellent instructions how to find Bush Apartment - READ THEM! We were warmly welcomed by Muriel who delighted in showing us around her home, designed by Evan, and made to feel at home. The apartment is spacious, well furnished & equipped and oh so peaceful. Sitting on the balcony, surrounded by native bush, listening to the little stream below and the birds above - magical. At night a clear sky, the call of Morepork and, if you're lucky, Kiwi. Of all the properties we stayed in, Bush Apartment must have had the biggest fridge/freezer! Kuoatunu, a few minutes drive away, is a lovely little coastal town with good cafes. Within driving distance are wide, sandy beaches - some only accessible on foot - and the thriving town of Whitianga.

Séjour paradisiaque ! Idéalement situé, les pieds dans l’eau. Environnement fabuleux ! Voisinage calme. Beaucoup de choses à faire dans les environs. Nous serions volontiers rester quelques jours de plus , ne serait-ce que pour prendre le petit déjeuner le matin en regardant la mer 😊

We had a wonderful time staying at the villa! The place was stunning, very close to the town centre and restaurants and was exactly what we were looking for. Jacqui was very easy to communicate with too. Would absolutely stay again!

N’hésitez pas à prendre ce logement. Nous avons été traité comme roi et reine. Les hôtes sont d’une gentillesse incroyable. Nous avons déjeuné trois matins avec la nourriture que les hôtes avaient laissé au réfrigérateur. Tout est parfait dans ce logement. Nous étions à cet endroit pour faire de la randonnée; les possibilités étaient en grand nombre.

Great place,.especially when you are travelling with kids. Had everything you needed to keep the kids entertained. House was spacious and not far from the beach. looking forward to coming again.

A comfortable and clean place in a great location

The place was absolutely stunning - the views were beautiful and we enjoyed our stay even during a rainy weekend. The house was very comfortable with a lot of amenities including lot of toys and books for kids and adults. Very convenient to travel from Auckland.

Fabulous place to stay! Great location. The house was very clean and tidy. Well equipped kitchen with every thing you need. There is a lovely outdoor area out the front and the spa was a luxury. There are three good sized bedrooms, the beds are quite firm, but fine for a short stay. Gina and George are so kind and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again!
