The stay with Samantha was great! As the hostess, she was very nice and always responded quickly and kindly to our messages in advance. We also really liked the room. It was cosy (especially the bed!), clean and we had everything we needed. She also provided tea and coffee and a kettle in the room. There was crockery and a small fridge in the hallway. The accommodation is located in a quiet residential area and the city centre is about a 10-minute walk away. Overall, a clear recommendation! :)

We really loved staying here - our getaways with a toddler + 2 dogs can be stressful, but this was such a great place to stay that it removed all stress. The location was peaceful and quiet, the village itself was small and walkable for the local pub and playground for our daughter. It was easy to drive to local tourist spots and all the roads were fine. The accommodation itself was comfortable and clean and had all we needed. Can’t thank our hosts enough for such a pleasant stay.

Everything was beautifully presented and welcoming. All the little touches were gratefully appreciated. My stay was such a treat. I felt so looked after by Louisa. A wonderful stay - one I didn’t really want to leave from.

We had a wonderful stay at Fiona’s place in Weymouth! The house is in a great location—just a short 15-minute walk to the beach and far enough from the pubs to enjoy peace and quiet, while still being close to all the action. It’s in a secure, gated area with on-site parking, which made everything so convenient. The room was clean, cozy, and just right for two people. While we felt very comfortable, a small -narrow desk at the end of the bed would be a nice addition . The whole house was spotless—Fiona clearly takes great pride in keeping it immaculate inside and out. One of our favorite parts was the private garden area with lovely views over Portland and the bay—absolutely perfect for relaxing. Fiona also served us a light continental breakfast, which was delicious and a great way to start the day. What truly made the stay special was Fiona herself. She’s incredibly friendly, charismatic, and easy to talk to—we felt like we were staying with an old friend. Highly recommended!

I had the most amazing stay at the Corner House. Marina and Martyn were so incredibly kind, helpful and attentive. They have put so much thought into every aspect to ensure their guests have an amazing stay. The Green Room is beautiful, peaceful, has the most comfortable bed and stunning views of the garden. The garden is stunning and peaceful. Cake and tea available on arrival was a wonderful touch. I was blown away by how fantastic the breakfast was. The best produce, so much choice, a real feast and Marina is a fantastic cook. I will miss it! If you are thinking of staying, don't hesitate, just book. You will not be disappointed. Thank you both so much. Just wonderful.

Such a wonderful find! We loved that we had our own wing of the house. Huge ultra comfortable bed with soft linen in a warm, cosy, beautifully lit and decorated bedroom. The bathroom had the same attention, with large shower and big soft towels. We had use of a living room with an enormous soft sofa. In the morning Sophie made us the most delicious muesli, that I keep thinking of since eating!, with warm croissants and extra fruits. We both felt thoroughly spoilt. There was such an amazing attention to detail, she had thought of everything we may need. We just need to find another excuse to stay there!! Thank you so much Sophie & Paddy for a truly wonderful stay!

Louis is a top class host , he provides a comfortable , spotlessly clean and efficient place to stay. We liked the fact that we got clear instructions to access the house / room and effective help when we needed it. Thank you again ! Also great street parking - would highly recommend Louis’s place if your staying in Sandbanks.

My daughter and I spent two nights at Alison’s charming cottage, nestled in the heart of nature – exactly what we were looking for! We booked just two days before arriving, and Alison was incredibly flexible and accommodating. One of the real highlights was the chance to meet and chat with her – such a lovely person: warm, welcoming, and full of great local tips. A special mention must go to the delicious breakfast! It’s a truly lovely spot for anyone who enjoys unfussy travel in beautiful natural surroundings, with plenty of attractions nearby. Thank you Alison for such a peaceful week-end in the New Forest…

Our stay at Jackie and Steve’s home was fantastic! The room was spotless, cozy, and just as advertised. Jackie and Steve were exceptional hosts, offering an impressive variety of delicious breakfast options that catered to every taste. Their warm hospitality and thoughtful touches truly made us feel welcomed. We highly recommend this place for an unforgettable experience!

David en Paul zijn duidelijk ervaren hosts. heel aardig, open (en grappig) en super behulpzaam. wij raden deze airbnb van harte aan. Mochten we ooit in de buurt weer wat gaan doen dan komen we graag weer genieten van het heerlijke ontbijt!

We were walking the Clarendon Way, which passes right in front of Patsy’s place - so it was a perfect place for us to stop and rest before the second half of our walk. The room was spacious with a lovely little balcony. A variety of breakfast bits were available in the room and a couple of cold ones in the fridge which was much appreciated after 17 miles on foot! The bed was super soft, like a feathery cloud. Patsy and her family were really friendly and welcoming - would totally recommend!

I stayed a whole week in Judith's beautiful home and felt so comfortable. Judith is a very friendly and welcoming host, and I felt completely relaxed (which I haven't always when staying in a host's house with them). I was busy every day and Judith's place was a calm retreat in the evening. The double bedroom was immaculately clean and very comfortable, and all the amenities were spotless. The house is in a quiet estate on the edge of town rather than central Glastonbury so there's a 10-15 minute walk in and out - for me this was ideal as it meant I could step out of the intensity and busyness of town, but I was grateful for my car a couple of times, as I had to dash back and forth quite a bit, carrying lots of things with me! Importantly, Judith's place is only a short walk to some of the most beautiful parts of the area - the Chalice Well Gardens, White Spring and the Tor. Had some great chats with Judith and loved gorgeous Milo the dog. Highly recommend for a quiet break!

l'appartement de Martin est très beau!. tout est propre et bien entretenu. Le lit est confortable et la salle de bain est parfaite. La maison est situé dans un quartier très tranquille. Martin est un très bon hôte; Aimable, accueillant et toujours à disposition. Nos avons passé 15 jours merveilleux. Merci cher Martin ... Merci de tout coeur pour ce temps partage.

A characterful lady who offered an instant and warm welcome to her charming and characterful house which is brimming with fascinating paintings and photographs collected during her career, a significant part of which was spent in India. A most considerate, eloquent and generous hostess, Rosie is also an accomplished cook who is very happy to provide a delicious evening meal if required. She is knowledgeable about many things, not least the village in which she has chosen to live and her guided tour of Semley is to be recommended. The church and exceptional village shop are well worth a visit. A day or two spent in this very comfortable accommodation provides a much needed reward from the daily round and guests will not be disappointed. Au contraire, the house and village are unexpected gems.

We had a lovely time at Anna’s accommodation, can’t recommend enough! Perfect location, short walk to the town centre and a very quiet peaceful place to stay. The breakfasts were a lovely touch and everything was clean and well equipped. Would definitely stay again x

Darren and Chi made us feel so welcomed in their home. Breakfast was delicious and they were extremely flexible and accommodating. Their home is ideally located adjacent to a stairway leading into Bournemouth Upper Gardens and about a 16 min jog to Bournemouth main pier/beachfront. Perfect if you're looking for a weekend away on the coast!

Unfortunately, I had to cancel my stay at the last minute. Alison was extremely helpful, always very responsive in communications, gave very detailed location and access instructions, was very flexible re arrival times etc. I hope to rebook with Alison asap!

We had a delightful stay with Clive and Angie. They are very welcoming guests. The room with en suite was perfect for our needs, and made for an affordable weekend visiting the New Forest and Bournemouth. The room was bright and spotlessly clean, with some thoughtful touches. We also enjoyed cereals, fresh fruit, toast and preserves, fresh juice and a good pot of tea for our breakfast. Home from home! The recommendation to visit Friars Cliff on our way home was perfect. Thank you for welcoming us into your home. We would love to visit again.

I stayed with Avril for one night and she is a very good host. The place was spotless, and in my room, which had a lockable door, I had tea and coffee making facilities, plus use of the main kitchen, for which she had bought me bread to toast for breakfast, as well as some chocolate filled buns. It's now my go to place to stay whenever I visit the area.

Brian was extremely helpful and friendly! We’ve had to change our check in time a couple of times due to our changing plans and Brian was very accommodating to that! He also had the heating on for us which was a plus! Highly recommend this place!

The room is very comfortable and quiet and both Rebecca and her gorgeous dog Tess were welcoming and charming. It's a lovely homely place to stay. I would've loved to stay longer.
