The pictures don’t show how gorgeous this place is! Amy was incredibly helpful and responsive. The view from the back garden area is beautiful, the cottage is spacious, quirky and stylish decor. The hot tub is wonderful; really hot and we thoroughly enjoyed watching the stars.

A beautiful cottage, bath with a view and lovely hot tub in private garden. Provides everything you need for a relaxing weekend away. Beautiful location, so peaceful. The barn with pool table and gym was a great addition. Responsive host too, a really lovely welcome when we arrived.

Second time staying here, it was splendid, the view is great, the property is clean and comfortable. The hot tub is a wonderful addition. We would definitely recommend this for a break

Absolutely wonderful stay! Ruth is a fantastic host, nothing is too much trouble. The house is stunning, picturesque in beautiful countryside, everything is top quality and all the little touches taken care of. A short drive to the coast, ideally situated for long dog walks. The perfect spot to switch off and unwind from daily life.

The hosts were helpful from the moment we booked our stay. We were given clear instructions on where to arrive and were greeted as soon as we pulled into the carpark. They explained all the necessary information and answered all of our questions and were very helpful. They were always available if we had any queries and gave plenty of local recommendations for food and activities. We would 100% recommend and would be more than happy to book again.

Lovely stay at The Nest. Great communication from the host, beautiful home and wonderful location for exactly what we needed. Our only point to note is that the cottage is not where it says on Google & Apple Maps and there is no phone signal in the area. This meant we had to ask people in the village for their help to find the correct location. Using ‘what3words’ or clear directions would maybe be helpful for future guests 😊 Overall a lovely stay and would recommend.

Beautiful house and location. Kitchen had everything we needed and more. Beds were super comfy and clean. Cottage is well decorated. Perfect weekend break with the girls, would highly recommend.

Stunning location, a beautiful and peaceful lodge. We especially loved the hot tub and the amazing views. The lodge has lots of windows and bifold doors which can be opened right up. Really good black out blinds for a nice lie in. The showers and kitchen appliances were great and easy to use. I highly recommend staying here!

Lovely place to stay, brilliant location and exactly as described. Charlotte was great at communicating before our stay and we found the place very easily!

We had a lovely Easter Weekend, with the house ticking all the boxes! It is fully equipped with everything you need and the best distance we’ve ever had to the local pub!! It was about a 25 minute drive to Lyme Regis and a great location for exploring the area! Alison’s communication was extremely quick throughout our stay and the check in was really clear and simple. Would definitely recommend a stay here ☺️

We loved this cottage. It was close to the centre but it’s position made it feel tucked away from the main village. We loved the views and the feeling of spaciousness that looking down across the village gave us. We loved the cosy living room and the log burning effect gas fire was very realistic. The larder was very convenient for extra storage as we cooked every evening we stayed. We hope to come and stay again.

The exact location isn't too clear when you book - but this place is actually like a small countryside heaven. It feels very peaceful and isolated, although you're within a few minutes drive from amenities (a few supermarkets) and the town centre. Sally was very helpful as soon as arrived, and super responsive all along. The cottage itself was small but perfectly fine for a family with 2 kids (the bedroom, upstairs, is really large though). All the essential was there, and in good working order. And it was great chilling on the lawn by the river, watching the sheep on the other side and the blossoming apple trees in Sally's garden, once the kids were in bed. I wish our stay had been longer to enjoy it further!

Kristina’s cottage is fantastic! Great location in Kilmington, we used it as a base for Lyme Regis/Charmouth, Hive Beach and for seeing family over in central Devon. Very clean and charming cottage that was surprisingly spacious. Everything we needed was provided, we hugely appreciated the little touches like a pint of milk to get us going and delicious scones with jam and cream, these were very thoughtful. These would elevate Kristina’s stay from 5 stars to 6 stars if we could 😊 We definitely recommend Khushi Kitchen (just round the corner from the cottage), we thought this was absolutely brilliant and tasted amazing too. We will be back very soon to stay here again, and will definitely be recommending it on to friends and family. Thank you so much Kristina 😊

Julie's place was a fantastic place to stay during our time in Portland. The place was spotless, smelt nice and had all the amenities and items you might need for your stay. Locally, the walks are absolutely breathtaking! Some of the best views I have seen anywhere! There are a few food shops and takeaways locally, all fairly priced and good food. We will definitely return!

Rowan Barn's open plan design worked very well as a welcoming space for three adults. It is set in beautiful countryside and in an excellent location for exploring this part of the Dorset coast. The cottage had everything we needed, including good access and easy parking. We have stayed in several different cottages in the area. This is the one we hope to return to. Thank you, Debra.

We had a wonderful stay with Clive and his family, he was kind enough to let us feed his new born lambs. The Accomodation was very well stocked for everything we could need and was exceptionally well stocked for a baby

What an absolutely outstanding place Dennis has here. Absolutely beautiful , very comfortable, the bedrooms are big and airy but cosy at the same time. spotless rooms, bathrooms and kitchen . lovely bright white clean linen . A very charming Fireplace with a gorgeous log burner and big comfortable sofas . The Gardens were lovely although admittedly at this time of year wasn't showing it's best , but still the wow factor. Lots of walks nearby . There is a village shop that caters for most things but if you want a little more Crewkern is only 3 miles away with Lidl, Waitrose etc. Set in the most picturesque Village , Dennis's Cottage will not disappoint . We hope to return at some point.

What a beautiful cosy cottage. Worked perfectly for us to spend a couple of days near Honiton. Would definitely stay again :)

This was a perfect place to stay for our family of four. Our daughters especially enjoyed the swimming pool. The cottage was clean, with beautiful surroundings and had everything we needed. It was also really lovely to be able to book my Dad into the ‘Little Stable’, which is a smaller, 2 person dwelling available to book. Fiona is a fantastic host and responded quickly to any queries. We would definitely recommend this to our family and friends.

Little Glebe was so perfect for my friends and I - two couples - as a place to stay in Dorset. The cottage itself was amazing: bright, airy, beautiful design, great views, functional kitchen, and two comfortable bedrooms each with an ensuite bathroom. The location was also really ideal - about a 17 minute walk to the local farm grocery store where bought all of our food to cook, and 10 minute drive to Durdle door and other great coastal walks. Sue was a wonderful host, and very warm and lovely. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The quiet, secluded cottage provided all the basic needs; was located in the middle of the countryside and surrounded by beautiful nature. With Lyme Regis only a short drive away for an active day fossil hunting on the beach and eating fish and chips, it was the ideal location for a brief getaway for our family!

One of the best places I've ever stayed. The host laid out age appropriate toys just for my baby girl, the nursery was stunning and all the beautiful vintage toys made it feel magical. The whole property's aesthetic was carefully curated with beautiful furniture, decor and collectables, but also made you feel right at home from the first step inside. The garden was maintained to an impeccable standard and had gorgeous play equipment including the little cottage shed with playhouse set up. Listening to the birds on the morning as light poured into the living room felt heavenly. The host was very friendly and attentive throughout the whole visit, super host status very well deserved. We hope to stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking to get away into the countryside.

Lucy is a brilliant host, very responsive and friendly too. The cottage is in a great location and it's easy to get to the local shops and restaurants. Parking is easy and the cottage has everything you need and more. It's a lovely place to stay.

We had a really lovely stay at the cottage. Joanne was a fantastic host and made us feel very welcome. The cottage was spotlessly clean and very well-equipped. The setting is great and we really loved having the tea shop across the road! Joanne also kindly let our children use the play area of the campsite. Lots of great things to do nearby. Would definitely recommend!
