At times, it can get a little slick.

It has freshly refinished hardwood floors a full and a spotless bath with a combo tub-shower There is a deck which overlooks a spacious lawn and garden. A hot tube is available on request in the back yard as well as a fire pit. Okay, well, it's a stream, but it's all yours to enjoy. For the nature lovers we have deer, beavers, ducks, nutria, fish, etc. (think wetlands). For everyone, the house (duplex) is fully equipped with a fireplace, BBQ, hot tub central gas heat and central AC. This is a bright, clean and cozy space to land for folks who love the suburbs (not in the city city but we are close drive to the city center) but want to be surrounded by nature. With ambient noise from the creek and highway.

Our cozy-comfy 4 season yurt is nestled under majestic trees on a beautifully landscaped 1/3 acre. Located in a quiet, safe SW Portland neighborhood with a park, hike/bike trail a block away. We are 6 miles from downtown, with beaches, gorge and Mt. Hood accessible for day outings. There is a full kitchen, a natural gas fireplace and complete electrical and plumbing service. The guests full bathroom is located in the home's utility room a short lighted pathway walk from the yurt.

The back porch is still usable, but has the "beauty" of the destruction of nature and not the beauty of the hard work of creating an elegant landscaped pond.
