This is a huge suite filled with luxury. Everything felt like a 5 star hotel. The top floor has a huge bed room with separate closest space. The bathroom is huge with a large spa tub that is quite enjoyable. The top floor also has a beautiful ocean view and we watched the sunset which is beautiful. The ground floor has a huge living area and a very large kitchen and desperate dinning area. If you like to spoil yourself and family with a bit of luxury, this is the place for you.

This was a lovely place to stay, I wish we had more time here on our trip. Super clean, nice amenities, friendly staff, beach access with cool stones to look at while the waves roll them over and over. We somehow lucked out and were placed in a private corner of the resort. Kids would have a blast here with all of the extra activities available.Sunset was stunning to experience. I would use their other locations in NZ too if I travel this way again based off of this experience.

Super suite right next to Paparoa. I loved being on the top floor, surrounded by palm trees, birdsong, and the sound of the ocean. It is possible to do an inspired hiking loop without driving by walking down to Paparoa track, cutting south in the inland track, and circling back to the cottage. This will take you past the caverns, pancake rocks, and some of the best hiking around. I felt the suite was very cozy and had a warm feeling.

A fabulous home and each room having a bathroom was a real bonus. Very easy instructions for our stay, the home was very clean and a handy location to the shops, restaurants and lake. Highly recommend

The shower water pressure was amazing! We requested an early check-in since we arrived earlier than expected, and the host kindly agreed. However, it seemed like the cleaning crew was running behind schedule, so we ended up checking in later than the usual timing. Additionally, the previous guests took the TV remote, so we couldn’t use the TV at all. That said, the room was clean and tidy, which we appreciated!

What great hosts. Best airbnb ever. Absolutely loved this home away from home. Justine and Baz had thought of everything. It would have been very easy to stay in and just enjoy the view and surroundings. The furnishing paid attention to every detail, the bed to die for, all the appliances A+, the outdoor relaxing and bbq facilities excellent. The tea,coffee and breakfast cereal an excellent choice. Relaxing at night on a big luxurious couch with great TV and internet, after riding our bikes all day was just another plus. I could just go on and on. It was just awesome far better than any 5 star+ hotel or motel. Can't wait to return when the locals finish the biking/walking track around the lake. thank you again Jill and Kevin.

Listing was exactly as per the photos. Clean and simple. Carpark lots are just outside the rooms. Comfortable beddings and minutes drive to Lake Tekapo & the church.

The house was huge and the surrounding were great, we managed to see the sunset right from the house. The house was equipped with the necessities we needed. We could hear the sound from the wooden floor when someone is walking on the upper floor or the stairs. Not a big problem to us but if you are sensitive to sounds, something to consider before booking. The water pressure was low, it was a bit inconvenient using the shower head. Robert was friendly and helpful, we are satisfied with the booking in general.

We had to book this home immediately as our previous accommodation was unavailable. We had travelled 3 hours and as soon as I booked the home, Rob allowed us to head there right away instead of waiting for the check-in time. He called to make sure we made it in the house comfortably as well as being on call the entire time if I had a question or query. He was friendly and saved the trip! The view of the lake is beautiful too! The train runs in-front of the house and at first we thought it may be annoying but actually we enjoyed seeing it go past and it didn’t interrupt our sleep. The house is in walking distance to local tracks and to the lake. Fantastic weekend, thank you Rob!

fabulous location, so much to do and explore. Hiking along the beach to Collingwood and the Farewell Spit tour were amazing things to do. The home was private and the views of the estuary were always changing and beautiful. It was very windy a few days but it didn't curtail our activities. The home stays warm when sunny and there are a few sand flies that like to bite but again, nothing too annoying! A well equipped kitchen, great comfortable beds, and clean overall made it a very pleasant place to be. We would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful two-night stay at Mountain View! The spectacular sunrise and sunset views were breathtaking, and the private lake looked like a scene from a postcard. The house is spacious and beautifully furnished, making it feel just like home. Highly recommend!
