The inside of this property has been beautifully modernized and was warm and comfortable for our family of 5. it is set back from the main road and is surprisingly quiet. We highly recommend such great hosts, too.

A lovely quaint farm stay in a secluded area just outside Geraldine. The owners were lovely and accomodating and had gone above and beyond to make sure we had a nice time (including dropping Easter eggs off for our kids on Easter morning!).

Excellent well appointed home with all the added extras that make your stay just that much better. Perfect for a larger group with 4 bedrooms. Fully equipped kitchen and great living space opening out to an outdoor deck. Close to Northlands shopping mall. Would definitely stay again if we had the chance.

Rob’s place was perfect. Everything that you would need for a stay and it felt like home. The pastry’s and other treats he left for us was a god send after a late night of delayed flights! Did not have to think about breakfast only a good sleep in the warm comfy beds!

Would definitely recommend Stephanie’s Airbnb. The house was so clean, warm and comfortable. We felt right at home. Stephanie was very helpful and replied to any message very quickly. There were also some lovely extra touches. Would love to stay again!

The location is excellent—it’s just a short drive to the Glow Worm Cave and Hokitika Beach. The wood-burning stove keeps the place very warm and cozy.

This little house was perfect for our needs. Dawne met us there and had the fireplace already on. She also supplied basics and farm fresh eggs! If we’d had more time we would have stayed longer it was very comfy.

Stephanie is a great host. always proactive especially prior to check in and during check in. making sure we are settled. was also able to give local recommendations. the home was a great treat. the kids were very well entertained. everything was as advertised. very peaceful location. great place to stay especially with kids. highly recommended!

Beautiful accomodation. So clean and lots of extras in the fridge and cupboard. Felt like home! Great walk into town and.restaurants along the Avon river. Definitely recommend!

We had a lovely and unique stay at Brent’s. He was incredibly caring and detail-oriented. He had the heater on before our arrival to ensure the apartment was cozy, and was very considerate letting us take our time at checkout if needed. It made us feel welcomed and relaxed. He even came out personally to say goodbye and wish us well for the rest of our trip. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and well-hosted stay!

Schöne Lage direkt am Golfplatz, sehr nahe am Strand. Sehr ansprechendes und helles Apartment. Unkomplizierter Gastgeber. Easy going! Weiter zu empfehlen!

What great hosts. Best airbnb ever. Absolutely loved this home away from home. Justine and Baz had thought of everything. It would have been very easy to stay in and just enjoy the view and surroundings. The furnishing paid attention to every detail, the bed to die for, all the appliances A+, the outdoor relaxing and bbq facilities excellent. The tea,coffee and breakfast cereal an excellent choice. Relaxing at night on a big luxurious couch with great TV and internet, after riding our bikes all day was just another plus. I could just go on and on. It was just awesome far better than any 5 star+ hotel or motel. Can't wait to return when the locals finish the biking/walking track around the lake. thank you again Jill and Kevin.

We stayed overnight at Wayne & Lynette’s place and it was perfect for our short stay. The unit was immaculate, clean and had everything we needed. The bed is super comfortable. As we didn’t have a vehicle, the address is a very short walk from the railway station and shopping centre so was very convenient. We would certainly recommend staying there to anyone else with no hesitation.

Great location for us. So handy we were allowed to bring our pet. Unit was lovely and clean with nice comfy beds. We will definitely be back.

Jo was an incredible host and her home was perfect. the location is so quaint and homey and the unit was very welcoming with fresh flowers and thoughtfully stocked basics. we walked to everything in the city from Jo's place and found it really easy to navigate and get around. Jo was super quick to respond to any questions we had a long the way and accomodated an early check in on our arrival day. There are great dining options around the neighborhood but be sure you don't miss the Montreal Cafe inside the Montreal hotel, about 2 blocks away. It is an absolute neighborhood gem! I highly recommend Jo's place if you're looking for a great stay in Christchurch!

We enjoyed our stay in the serene neighbourhood and seeing so many stars when we stepped out at night. The kitchen was well equipped and Graham and Vicki had also kindly provided some eggs, I believe from their farm, as well as condiments that included butter! The home was clean and tidy with a large bathroom. Heating was also sufficient as it happened to be cold when we visited. Location was also fantastic as it was 5 mains away from Lake Tekapo.

We loved staying with Helen at the Bealey eco lodge. The setting is breathtaking and Helen’s cosy lodge was the perfect place to explore the area from. Helen is a super friendly host with a remarkable knowledge of the region. We’d recommend this stay for anyone traveling through the area looking for an off-grid experience

Excellent location. Easy walk along a river into core area. Karen and Rob are exceptional hosts. They saved a parking space for me and made me feel right at home. Rob even walked with me a bit to get me headed in right direction. Clean and comfortable. Only had one night with them, but would go back in a heartbeat.

We stayed at Shirley's place for a night for our little blue penguins trip at Timaru. The place is absolutely lovely, and our room is located on the ground floor where we have a living room and a large balcony of our own. We really appreciated Shirley's hospitality and her serving us a nice New Zealand breakfast in the dining room on the first floor (where the host stays). We couldn't feel more at home and peaceful at Shirley's place, 5 stars!

Karens place was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. It was a very wet evening and a bit miserable outside but Karen had the heat on and an electric blanket on in my bed when I arrived. The bed was very comfortable and it was a quiet and peaceful area in addition to being only about a 15 minutes walk from the centre of Christchurch. I got a very good continental breakfast and in addition Karen did me some eggs for breakfast. I would stay again if I am in Christchurch.

Amanda couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful. We were stuck for somewhere to stay due road closures from bad weather. Amanda saved us at short notice. The place was perfect for us. Breakfast was included - bonus. Highly recommend.

Our stay at view with a room was stellar! Shirley is an extremely thoughtful host. She has everything you could possibly think to need with some very thoughtful touches such as freshly laid eggs that were left for us. The accommodation was impeccably clean and so well thought out. Modern bathroom, nice lighting. Beautiful views in a peaceful and serene setting. We walked at low tide to see the starfish, what a fun adventure! Shirley has a tide chart printed so you can time it just right. We loved our time at view with a room and highly highly recommend staying here. Thank you again Shirley!

Can’t say enough positive things about this stay! From the moment I arrived Karen and Nigel made me feel like family, welcoming me with a smile, and offering a homemade dinner! Lovely conversation and two individuals who bring a smile to your face. The bed was incredibly comfy, the bathroom spotless, the breakfast in the morning a great touch as well as the gym and spa. Was incredible to feel like I was at home and to spend the night conversing with Nigel and Karen and learning more about NZ! Do yourself a favor and if you’re in the West coast, stay here!

We had a great stay! Nadine and her family were incredibly welcoming while also being respectful of our privacy, which we really appreciated. The room and bathroom were very comfortable, and the whole place was thoughtfully set up. They were such kind and hospitable hosts. The location is also excellent—just a short drive to Lake Tekapo and all the main attractions. Highly recommended!
