The only issue I had was finding the apartment - in the dark. The listing should say “Find #58, then use the key on the door to the right of that sign and go up to the top floor”. Apart from that - one of the nicest and most comfortable Airbnb’s I have stayed in - easy walk to the centre and all the attractions, lovely, very comfortable and clean apartment. I would recommend this to anyone visiting York.

Our 3 night stay here was great. Perfect location, supermarket close by and could walk to any attraction easily. Very comfortable and the wine, biscuits and other provisions were much appreciated.

Fantastic flat in a great location within easy walking distance of Peasholm Park and North Bay. Lots of great touches in this comfortable apartment and plenty of room for 2 x families of 4. Plenty of parking on the doorstep, just use the discs provided. Mark was a great host and so easy to contact. We'll definitely look to use again.

We had a great time staying at Ben’s flat. It has everything you need and is simple, clutter-free and clean. Instructions for entering and parking were clear, the property feels very secure as there are 3 levels of code-entry doors from street to flat and the location is great for exploring York. 15-20 minute walk to the Shambles and centre of town and great local restaurants (really recommend Valentino’s 5 mins walk away and Ate O’Clock 15 mins walk away). A great flat in a great location, with a helpful host. Thank you!

Spacious modern clean apartment, exactly as described, very comfortable beds! Location was absolutely perfect, views from front window over harbour are stunning!! Only used the car once in a week!! Loved Whitby didn’t want to come home. Thank you ☺️ ❤️

We had a wedding in York and booked Dawn’s house on all the reviews and recommendations. We were not at all disappointed! Very spacious house with all we needed. Getting into town was easy and being near to the station was good for my son and his girlfriend who also stayed with us. I would throughly recommend staying here Dawn kept us informed on all aspects of our stay. Thank you for an amazing time!

We booked Villa 2 for a family get together for a 70th birthday celebration. (8 including a child) The location is central and a couple of minutes walk to harbour. Check in was easy, the host Rachel communicated well and was informative. The kitchen was well equipped and very clean. Bathrooms were clean, towels, shampoo and shower gel were provided. All bedrooms had a wall mounted tv and storage. Parking permits were provided for the duration of our stay and after request we had a later check out time. (Which after a day of sea air and clocks changing thrown in there were some tired people)

Peaceful quiet location. Near train station. Clean . Generally well equipped, although a few bits of cutlery and crockery missing but nothing major. Comfortable beds, pillows not to my personal preference as very hard, but overall an excellent stay and I would not hesitate to stay again and would recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at Simon’s place. Good space, nice and clean and a short distance from York. Simon was very responsive on message which made our stay straightforward and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed here for a few days and it was really good. Great accommodation and beautifully presented. Fab location in a busy town with lots of pubs and eating places. Fantastic for walking on the nearby North Yorkshire Moors. We will definitely visit again in the future.

We stayed at the house as an extended family for 4 nights for our daughters wedding in the area. It's an absolutely beautiful place and perfect for holidays , celebrations , gatherings or a base for an extended stay. The house is great, the garden amazing , outside space to socialise and eat is super and it's peaceful with beautiful views. We will hopefully come back again it's an absolute gold gem!

Had a fantastic stay here. A family of 4 (2 teen boys), my brother in law and 2 dogs. Great location - an easy walk into town and very quiet too. The host was super helpful and friendly. The accommodation was very clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The beds in particular were extremely comfortable - lovely fresh, clean and crisp white linen. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Whitby.

A brilliantly hidden find. Peaceful, private, relaxing and just on the edge of York. A great size and very comfortable. Will hopefully be available next time I’m back in the area.

We had a great stay at this flat! The location is excellent—just a 10-minute walk from all the main attractions, which made exploring the area really convenient. The flat itself is in great condition: fresh, clean, and beautifully maintained. The ensuite bathroom was a nice touch, and the big TV was perfect for relaxing in the evening. I especially appreciated all the thoughtful little touches the host provided—tea, snacks, shampoo, bin bags, and even wireless chargers by each bed and a wireless speaker. These details really make a difference when you’re staying for a short time. Highly recommend!

The accommodation was just as described clean an well decorated. Close to the harbour an shops , if I needed anything I only had to ask . I would highly recommend this property. So glad I found this on air bnb

We had a lovely return visit to Diane's apartment and certainly hope to go again. We couldn't fault anything; everything so clean, the apartment well appointed, bed very comfortable with beautiful bedding and towels and everything you could possibly need or want. Malton is a perfect base to enjoy North Yorkshire. Great to meet Diane and Mark who were so friendly. Thank you!

Absolutely beautiful place and would highly recommend. Deco and furnishings done to a very high standard. Clean throughout and all rooms are great sizes. Super comfy bed with high quality bedding. All mod/cons, everything you need for your stay. Will definitely return. The best AirB&B we have ever stayed in. Teresa the owner was very helpful, a superb host. Really lovely stay in the heart of York. The apartment was exactly as described and perfect for a short break away. The host instructions were spot on for entry and parking. The local recommendations were a great touch and we sampled several! Absolutely would return.

A comfortable stay, we were only having an overnight but would book again for longer if we need to sometime. Lovely thought to provide Proseco welcome.

Extremely pleased with apartment-exactly as shown and described on the web-site. Very tastefully furnished. So easy to walk into the city. Cannot fault in any way. Amanda has an apartment to be very proud of. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to York.
