What a lovely and unusual place to stay. Natasha was very kind and accommodating with our timings and all our cycling gear on our King Alfred’s Way gravel tour. Really appreciated the thoughtful touches and great communication. Sofa bed was very comfy and spacious! South Harting has some amazing food / provisions and there are some very nice looking pubs a short drive / 30min walk away… however we also managed to get Domino’s to deliver pizza when we were a bit too tired to go out in the evening so worth noting this is an option!

Melanie is the perfect host. She was there to greet us on our arrival & show us around. She is a lovely friendly person who really wants to please all her guests. She even left us a few treats. Her local knowledge is excellent & she gave us some great advice for walking. Many places are within walking distance if you are used to long walks & Haslemere is an easy 30 minutes walk so we didn't even have to use the car.The accommodation is so spacious & the kitchen has everything you need. The views from the garden are beautiful so we ate out morning and evening. We would thoroughly recommend staying at High Barn Farm.

Lovely peaceful stay just a. Short drive from the New Forest, the south coast and very close to Paultons Park. The barn was really cosy and comfy. We also appreciated that the WiFi has recently been updated and was easily good enough. Hayley was really responsive and flexible as a host. Lovely weekend.

Our stay was perfect in every way. Bobby was very welcoming and the property is stunning. Everything was spotlessly clean and the kitchen has everything you require. The outdoor space is huge and beautiful- loved exploring the woods and feeding the fish. There are so many toys/games for both inside and outside to keep children entertained. We loved our stay.

My partner and I were visiting family in a nearby village so Kennel Farm was perfect for a short stay. It was easy to find and there is ample parking with goats, chickens and sheep welcoming you through the gate! The Hay Store has a kitchen with everything you need and a living space with small sofa and TV. the bedroom and bathroom are small, which is fine for a short stay but there is little to no storage space (not even somewhere to place a toothbrush) but this didn't provide much bother. The bedding and towels were clean, although the towels are small so I would bare this in mind and bring my own next time. The accomodation is clean, but not squeakily so and there are some areas which appear tired with chipped paint and a mouldy bathroom skirting board caused by the shower. Some thought has clearly gone in to lighting and it's nice to have the option of small cosy lights rather than the 'big' light. Put simply, it's a convenient cosy little place and we would happily book again

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche in Cotswold. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und gut eingerichtet. Besonders das großzügige Kinderzimmer hat den jungen Gästen gefallen. Neben der Lage mitten in der Natur war der Games Room ein weiteres Highlight, was von den Kindern gern genutzt wurde. Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und gut zu erreichen. Wir haben auf Empfehlung die kleinen Pubs der Umgebung besucht und waren sehr zufrieden. Eine Bushaltestelle für Fahrten nach Oxford ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit in Oxfordshire.

The barn is beautiful and very well fitted out. Fabulous setting, absolutely stunning and super peaceful and quiet. The one bathroom was challenging at times with a party of adults but the rest of the barn is faultless and such a joy to stay in. The tennis court and other amenities were fabulous.

Well what a lovely place to stay. Peace and quiet beautiful area. Lots of lovely fields and walks close by so our Dog had a great hoilday as well!, The barn conversion was so comfortable and the shower room was first class. Charles made contact each day abnd recommended the best pubs. We visited The Somerford Arms as as Charles had said it was outstanding. We will definitely be back .

Our stay at the charming bed and breakfast was a delight! From the warm welcome to the friendly atmosphere, we felt right at home. The hot tub was a highlight, where we soaked while enjoying stunning nature views and even spotted deer nearby. Mornings on the deck with coffee and evenings watching the sunset were pure bliss. Our hosts were accommodating, offering great local recommendations while respecting our privacy. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape, this bed and breakfast is a hidden gem. We left feeling rejuvenated and can’t wait to return!

Incredible stay! We had the most wonderful time at Folly Farm. The photos really don’t capture just how spacious the barn is or how beautiful and peaceful the surrounding grounds are. Each morning, we woke to the sound of birdsong and woodpeckers tapping away — pure serenity. The barn feels completely private, with no neighbours overlooking which made it all the more relaxing. It’s only a short drive (less than 10 minutes) to Bourton-on-the-Water and is well located for exploring other parts of the Cotswolds. We would absolutely stay again — it’s a real hidden gem. Thank you for making our minimoon so special!

A wonderfully peaceful location with beautiful countryside views. The pictures really don’t reflect how big the property is - so much space! Very much appreciated the high chair, children’s cutlery and books/games. Very family friendly. Would recommend!

The Stone Barn is set in a beautiful location and the place itself is amazing. We stayed here for 2 nights for a wedding in the local area and we couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. The barn is exactly as described and fitted out well with everything you would need. Nicky and Mark were great hosts, providing detailed check in and parking information as well as initial essential items in the barn. We are already looking for our next excuse to stay here again.

A very comfortable and cosy stay! Kitchen utensils were well stocked and fresh linen was well provided. Good location to do days trips to the popular villages. Very clean and would definitely recommend.

Charming barn conversion right in the heart of Childrey. Tastefully furnished and well appointed. Mel was a very accommodating host; responding quickly to my questions and providing pro-active advice. And the extended check-out (subject to availability!) was particularly welcome.

We had a wonderful two night stay with our 18 month old for a wedding at Merriscourt. The house was spotlessly clean and spacious, we couldn’t have asked for anything more! Amazing location with the pub across the road, Co op down the road and in particular the green opposite which had a fab play park for our little girl. Thank you Sandy and Nick for our lovely experience :)

Valerie and Marcus were amazing hosts and made us very welcome. Their place is exquisite and clean & spotless with every amenity catered for. Lovely little touches, like delicious homemade cake and wine on our arrival. We felt at home straight away and we're so comfortable and relaxed we wish we could have stayed longer than 3 nights! Location is perfect for exploring the beautiful county. Amazing views out of the windows of the farm animals too. Thank you to Marcus for his recommendations on local walks and eateries. I grew up in Dorchester on Thames and we stayed at Steve’s to visit family and go for a walk up Wittenham Clumps. It was a great location for us all to stay, beautiful and peaceful surroundings. we had a wonderful New Year stay at this gorgeous barn. We received a very warm welcome from Jack, Hayley and Meadow and soon settled in. The accommodation was great and the surrounding area is beautiful. The barn was warm and cosy and the views from the windows were stunning. Our dogs enjoyed the walks in the surrounding fields and copse, especially the stream. We had a lovely relaxing stay and would definitely like to return.

Wisteria Cottage is an absolute gem – tranquil, charming, and the perfect countryside escape. Surrounded by beautiful walks and peaceful scenery, it felt like a true retreat from the hustle of everyday life. The attention to detail in the cottage made it feel so welcoming and cosy, and Dinah and her ladies who hosted couldn’t have made my stay any more peaceful or pleasant. Their warmth and hospitality added such a personal touch. Highly recommend!
