Close to public transport, the city center, university and botanical gardens. A 2 min walk to the Cable Car to explore downtown Wellington. Victoria University is 5 mins walk away, while the Botanical Gardens border the property. Self-contained 2 bedroom flat with own bathroom and kitchenette, central heating, free wifi and separate access. Hosts live above. The Garden area has native birds and harbour views. Our place is good for couples, small groups, solo adventurers, and business travelers.

The Lighthouse

The Lighthouse is a unique, romantic place on the South Coast. Stunning views, opposite a swimming and dog beach plus rock pools, it’s great for walks. With a comfy double bed and steep stairs, it’s private and quiet - brilliant on a sunny day, cosy in a storm. There's a fantastic cafe around the corner; shops are 10 minutes’ walk away. The main Island Bay bus stop is nearby with regular buses. It's a 9 minute drive to the airport and 15 minutes to downtown Wellington. Small dogs on request.

Poets Corner is a boho/retro inner city apartment, where you can relax and kick your shoes off. Not a hotel wannabe - it's been lived in. You have exclusive use of the space and everything in it, and you can walk to almost any place in Wellington, with many food options within a 15-minute stroll. Museums, movies, waterfront and wildlife are all easily accessible. Check-in is by appointment only, and self check-in is not available. If that's important please don't book.

It's a walk up to a special view of Wellington

Nestled against the bush just above our home, our studio offers an amazing view of Wellington Harbour. Reaching it requires a brief uphill walk, but for those who enjoy the outdoors and don’t shy away from a little exercise, the reward is well worth it. The breathtaking views and cosy accommodation make the effort part of the experience. That said, if you prefer level access or are travelling with particularly heavy luggage, our studio may not be the best fit.

Welcome to our newly renovated studio. We are located on the border of Hataitai and Roseneath and enjoy fantastic views over the harbour nestled in native bush. The studio is equipped with a queen bed, separate shower, wood burner, table and chairs and tea and coffee-making facilities along with a fridge. We also have off-street parking and wifi.
