This place is lovely. Aircon in all the bedrooms would be better, this is Queensland after all. Not great for elderly though as there's lots of stairs. Kitchen was missing a few items, and the items that were there were just all over the place in all different cupboards and drawers. Lovely bottle of champagne and strawberries, but no gladwrap or tupperware. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Very nice house in a quiet leafy suburb. Close to shops and the river. Small but refreshing swimming pool. Everything we needed was there.

We loved our stay and hope to return in the future! Suz is an absolute fabulous host. Highly recommend! Views are spectacular, home is beautiful and so comfortable. Kids loved it, particularly the chickens. We fell in love with Donald the chicken! Thank you.

We had a great stay at Jason’s cottage. Both the cottage and the pool were way bigger than we expected from the pictures! Earlier check in was also available and Jason was always responding super quick. The neighborhood is more quiet but the train station was a 13 minute walk

If we could give this Airbnb 6 stars, we would. Nestled in a very peaceful part of Brisbane and right near Lone Pine, Barry and Lynn provide one of the nicest stays you could hope for. As hosts, they are both very friendly and helpful and ensure that your stay is as comfortable as possible. It was spotlessly clean and very spacious. We found it to be very well stocked with anything you could possibly need, even more than our own home! I'd you're planning to be in or near this area, we cannot recommend Barry & Lynn's place any more.

Lovely private accommodation that is just gorgeous! The unit itself is under Lil’s house and is set amongst Lil’s and Stephens beautiful gardens and lovely heated pool. Lil provided gorgeous farm made condiments, bread and butter which was such a delight! Close to Paddington ( 20 min walk) where there are lovely cafes and gorgeous shops to look through. The city is a short 10 min drive away so super close. There is a lovely french restaurant up the road which was delicious and fabulous value for money. Highly recommended Lil’s place to anyone for a little home away from home break away. We would definitely book again when in Brisbane.

This place was so enjoyable. Originally built in the 60’s (?) I was thoroughly impressed with how the whole house was built for the express purpose of hosting large groups. We were 5 siblings and partners celebrating together our mums 90th birthday. We loved the many different living/dining and entertainment areas and had the most enjoyable time especially on the Friday night in the separate movie theatre/media/bar building adjacent to the main house. We played pool, danced, sang, laughed lots and just enjoyed being together. The whole weekend was unforgettable and we’re so glad we found this place. An added treat was getting to see a couple of local wallabies grazing outside over the weekend. Thank you to the hosts for a great venue….We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it !

We enjoyed a peaceful, relaxing stay at Heather's place. Loved the garden and all the beautiful roses. The tim tams on arrival were a surprise and much appreciated.

We stayed here before my wedding and it was perfect. Light, airy and super clean, it was the best spot to prepare for the big day. Air con in the lounge was great, all windows had screens and all the amenities were clean and fresh. Would definitely recommend! Thank you for having us!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful home! From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless and well-maintained — it was clear that great care is taken to keep the space clean and welcoming. The location couldn’t have been more perfect, right in a central area with easy access to shops, restaurants, and attractions. The home was spacious, comfortable, and ideal for our group — whether we were relaxing together in the common areas or enjoying a quiet moment, it felt just right. It truly felt like a home away from home, and we’d happily stay here again!

We loved our stay at Banksia Cottage and it’s the only pet friendly Airbnb we’ve stayed at to date that is ACTUALLY pet friendly. Lots of beautiful and thoughtful touches that really made it feel like home. The shower pressure was also magnificent. We will absolutely be back and we’re thrilled with our stay! Nice old Queenslander furnished with taste and presented nicely. Impeccably clean. There is a fair bit of road noise so if you susceptible to that best pack a pair of ear plugs, but otherwise we found the place convenient and will likely stay again. Appreciated the bread, milk, chocolates and other bits and pieces left for us to use.

What an amazing place to stay beautifully renovated Queenslander, with large veranda front and back and a beautiful big yard for our dogs to run around very safe and secure, the house itself inside is very homely, I was quite surprised how warm the house was, it has a fireplace but the gas heater was all we needed,the bed was so comfortable . Emma our host was very helpful and friendly, Queens Park was only a short walk up the road and we found an amazing bakery just around the corner The bakers Duck , we’ll definitely be back

This was the perfect home for our large and growing family…wow, no longer needing to line up for the bathroom, with plenty of space to entertain. Thanks for providing a great place for our Easter holiday!

We had an amazing stay at this property! The house was exactly as described—spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The property is situated on a beautiful plot of land, providing a peaceful and scenic environment that made our visit even more special. Simon was incredibly responsive and helpful, making the whole experience seamless. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

We absolutely loved our accommodation. The location being opposite Gabbinbah Homestead for our son’s wedding was just perfect. It was beautifully decorated and felt like home away from home.

It was like coming home. Our kids had a wonderful time, so much so they didn’t want to leave. The house was comfortable and spacious for a large family. The ensuite has a beautiful waterfall shower that was so relaxing for mum and fun for the kids. The house is central to everything and communication from everyone was so fast. I really appreciated the gesture of having Almond milk there for me on arrival, we got in later than expected so having a coffee ready to go was amazing.

We were still in awe of the beauty of your beautiful place. We absolutely loved every single minute we spent there. The view and the pool were our favorites, and the beds were comfortable with everything we needed to enjoy our holiday to the fullest. Thank you so much for the quick and great service as well.

We had a great stay while we were in Brisbane for a week for a sporting event. The positives include: - it being a house and so not having neighbours right next to you, - there was plenty of space to spread out, - loungeroom was comfy, - having a back yard was nice, but it rained most days we were there so didn't venture out much, - kitchen had most of what we needed (though a few more kitchen implements wouldn't go astray such as potato peeler, masher etc). Some things to keep in mind: - there is no dining table or somewhere to eat except the back patio. It rained A LOT which made this a challenge, - Also, because there is no table, I had to go to coffee shops to do some work on the laptop, - It is on a major road and so there is quite a bit of traffic noise. I sleep like a log so no problems for me, but my wife found it a bit more challenging. Overall, a comfortable place to stay about 10 mins from South Brisbane.
