We had a fantastic week! Just what we all needed to relax and reset. Hope to visit again!

The cabin was really nice with comfortable accommodations and everything you need. There is a road that runs in front of and behind the cabin that has quite a bit of traffic on the weekend as the road is an entrance to a park/campground and it was a holiday weekend. This was a benefit to us though as we love to hike and could walk to or drive within a couple of minutes to several really great trails! Having the heated in ground pool for my daughter was amazing and when we had some issues with Bees the owners handled it right away. This is definitely a cabin in the woods by the water so come prepared with bug repellant. We did venture out to some local wineries and a lavender farm/winery but would have been just as content to enjoy the cabin and the property! Overall we really enjoyed this place and would totally go back when we are visiting the Harrisonburg area.

We really enjoyed our stay, will be booking again. Keep in mind that they have another set of same trio-cabin about 20 miles away. If you plan on booking all three together, communicate with the host clearly.

Wonderful stay! Cabin was wonderful and hosts were even better!

Aaron's house was a cozy retreat. I stayed with my husband and our 4yo and 2yo and everyone was comfortable. The surrounding area was beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed eating dinners on the screened in porch and on the patio and loved being able to see the woods from our bed.

nice and quite, but if you bringing teenagers wifi is needed, it would definitely need more that quite place to entertain them. other than is a beautiful place to stay away from noise and crowds

We loved our stay here. The house was the cleanest rental we've ever stayed at. The master bed was incredibly comfortable. My wife and i both said the sleeps during our stay here were heavenly. The hot tub was hot and clean. Kitchen was well equipped. The house had a great location for hiking in Shenandoah NP. Check in instructions were sent before arrival and crystal clear and easy to follow. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

We absolutely loved our stay at Viewpoint! The beautiful sign at the entrance made it easy to find and was a nice touch to our welcome. Upon our arrival, the cabin was cozy, clean and had everything we needed. Our girls loved the hot tub, pool table and ping pong table, and the trail down to the creek behind the cabin was an added bonus! It was extra special to be able to bring our dogs with us! It’s very convenient to Shenandoah NP. The hosts were incredibly kind, quick to respond and gracious — offering us a generously early check in! We will 100% be booking again!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Our two girls were happy to run around the yard and play in the little playground. The house was clean, neat, and homey. The view is spectacular. The hot tub was plus. Jan even put a sign that said happy birthday for my husband. So thoughtful! thank you, Jan! Sylvia

Loved our stay here!! Would come back again in a heartbeat, this was such a beautiful space with a wonderfully responsive host. We ended up having a bit of broken glass at the property & immediately the host made sure that we were safe & got someone out to clean it up! Wonderful host, wonderful space, & a wonderful experience

Perfect spot for a cozy trip in the mountains! We stayed dry and warm during an especially rainy/snowy weekend. The space was very clean with a well equipped kitchen. We were even surprised with a bouquet of roses for Valentine's Day and a collection of toys for our pup.

Great home. Very private and plenty of space. Walking distance (via a fire road) to Shenandoah National Park and the Appalachian Trail. Plenty of nice touches to keep adults and kids feeling at home. Excellent value for the price.

The view from the porch is absolutely beautiful. We loved the covered porch so very much easy access to the highway. I would stay again and hope to.

We've stayed here multiple times, and each time and season has been enjoyable in its own way. Sitting riverside around the fire ring into evening is wonderful. There's so much to do outside that it's easy to forget how lovely a space the cabin is...you're right in the middle of a town but elevated so it's possible to have privacy to hang out on the porch and read or watch the geese and ducks float by. It's been years now, and this cabin is still our favorite getaway spot.

Our little family had a wonderful weekend at the cabin! Bobby was more than accommodating with us having to change plans after we initially booked. The cabin itself was comfortable and secluded. Our kiddos loved making a fire in the evenings and us parents enjoyed the hot tub during their naps. Bobby was very responsive and everything was just as described. We enjoyed some of the local civil war sights and Luray cavern! We would love to come back one day!

Very much enjoyed a short but sweet stay in this cabin! Appreciated the little touches including both fireplaces being set up for use upon arrival & maps of the area being laid out on the kitchen island. This quiet, pet-friendly Airbnb was a great escape for the weekend. Thank you for having us 🙂

Great spot! Hope very much to return. Pros: very nicely appointed cabin. Not luxury but pretty close! Has all the things you need to make an enjoyable stay. Incredibly good access to hiking, both on foot straight from cabin and by taking a short drive. We really enjoyed the bonfire pit and the supply of firewood. We went in the winter and it was nice to get a bit of snow. Would probably be gorgeous bird watching and such in the summer. Really nice to be surrounded by nothing but trees. Felt like we had a whole mountain to ourselves. Cons: I am noise sensitive, and I did find the main cabin to be pretty close quarters. So if you’re like me or are seeking privacy or quiet amongst a loud group of folks, maybe something to think about. Also not the easiest kitchen to make a big meal (no dishwasher, small drying rack) but we definitely made it work for 5 people. Also to note — we had a couple 2WD cars that made it up the hill to the cabin, but we brought them back down hill for snow

We loved our stay at this cabin! It offered total privacy, making it feel like our own little hideaway in nature. The surroundings were stunning—peaceful woods, fresh air, and gorgeous views all around. Inside, the cabin was cozy and thoughtfully furnished for comfort. We enjoyed walking down to see the waterfall on the lower field. The a/c was refreshing for what turned out to be a summer-like Easter. A perfect escape for a long weekend!

What a lovely cabin! Very clean and well stocked home. Great quiet space to relax. This kids had their own space with the loft. The host was very thoughtful and went above and beyond what the average Airbnb host would do. With lots to do in the area, we wished we could have stayed longer!

It was our first stay at this lovely cabin, we are definitely going to come back and stay longer in future. Great location, 7 min of driving from the nearest scenic overlook. We are impressed with details in the cabin, everything is made for comfortable staying! Thanks 😊

We loved this gorgeous cabin in the woods with the sweetest bear-themed decor. It was really well-equipped so we could cook our own meals and Marty and Mellanie were great communicators who suggested a few nice hikes. The only downside was the crazy number of bugs! Be sure to bring the bug spray and it's not super pleasant sitting outside because of that so be warned.

What a fantastic weekend! This cabin was so sweet, in a peaceful and beautiful location, close to the river, with chickens, tons of birds, our own little porch cat, and kayaks and canoes available at any time. It is also in the perfect location to visit Luray Caverns and Shenandoah. The cabin was comfortable, well stocked, and the fresh eggs were delicious. Owners are very responsive. Highly recommend!

We had a really nice time. Place has everything you need. Second bedroom is a kind of upstairs loft situation. Host was very communicative and friendly. Would love to come back when it's warmer to take advantage of the outdoor eating/chilling area. We were there at the very beginning of spring before the leaves and flowers come out, I'm sure it's incredibly beautiful when it's green there.
