Wasta is a small friendly village which is situated off the Interstate 90, easy access to Wall (10 minutes east) with the gate to the Badlands just 20 minutes away.

Conveniently located near restaurants and gas stations, it's also an easy 8 minute walk to the city park and city pool (Pool opens during summer months) Pets are welcome to stay! Perfect place for any length of stay! On the boarder of both the Downtown and West Blvd Residential Historic Districts. Steps away from multiple dining and entertainment options. One of the only buildings in the area with owned off-street parking. The 2nd floor of the Rose Building was converted from offices to apartments in 2022. You can walk to The Monument for a concert, the bike path and parks, Main Street Square. The perfect place to relax after a day exploring the Black Hills.

The tiny house of Wasta with lots of character

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. The tiny house is not an actual tiny house, a one bedroom with 1 queen bed, bathroom, kitchen/living room. Lazy boy reclining love seat, and a lazy boy recliner (very comfortable) for watching a movie in front of a faux fireplace. The kitchen is furnished with everything you need to prepare a home cooked meal. The microwave is air fryer/microwave. Enjoy your evening/morning sitting on the covered porch with your favorite beverage.

The Rock and Block house

This is a Great Little House with Rustic yet Modern Charm, Beautiful View of the Cheyenne River Breaks. Two very comfy king sized beds. Wasta is a "very" small town, a gas station, a fabulous military museum and a bar. You can take in the Badlands on your way, you might drop down through Interior, S.D. and drive through the Badlands then come out just south of Wall. We are about 20 miles from the Badlands, 40 miles from Rapid City, and Beautiful Black Hills. Thank You, Billie
