Private Cottage on Lookout Mountain

The Blue Cottage is located atop beautiful, historic Lookout Mountain. It comfortably accomodates 2 people. The cottage is within walking distance of the Lookout Mountain Flight Park (hang gliding), and within an easy 7-8 mile drive to Rock City, Point Park and Ruby Falls. Cloudland Canyon State Park is just down the road and offers wonderful hiking trails and waterfalls. Pets are allowed. Prior approval is required. A pet fee is charged. Please see house rules or house manual for more detail.

Big Living in the Little House

Stay in the country and still eat well. We pay your first $40 for meal delivery per visit, $10 per day after. Pool included for $25 per stay to help with maintenance and chemicals. Trade traffic jams for 2 lane country. Only 10-20 min from downtown. But what we call “going to town” is driving to Flinstone for gas or church. Near Chattanooga, hiking, hang gliding, 10-20 min to Cloudland Canyon, Rock City, Incline, Sunset Rock, Ruby Falls, TN Aquarium, with Lookout Mtn’s bluffs as backdrop

This acreage is nearly untouched forest, where small paths lead down through plentiful mountain laurel, hardwoods and fantastical sandstone boulders that make Lookout Mountain a climbing destination. McLemore is 5 minutes away, and some of North GA and AL’s best state parks are short drive away. Deep on a rural drive and nestled against protected conservation property, the wildlife and stars easily outnumber the humans.

Nestled among 100-year-old pines and lush gardens atop Georgia's beloved Lookout Mountain is the newly remodeled Lookout Mountain Inn. This cottage is ideal for a romantic stay or an extended getaway. It offers a comfy king sized bed, two bathrooms, a large sitting area with two trundle beds and a generous kitchenette and a private hot tub. Fox View Cottage in Rising Fawn, GA is a stylish, new, custom-built home in a very unique setting. It is perched at the base of Lookout Mountain on an eleven-acre parcel that extends up the side of the mountain. From the enormous front porch, you have a commanding view of Fox Mountain which straddles the Alabama/Georgia state line. Gently rolling hills and manicured fields are framed by meandering fences. The views are stunning from the front as well as the rear of the home.
