Stayed here for 2 nights for the bank holiday weekend. The area was beautiful, the Lodge itself was modern and very clean. It made for a perfect get away with the private Hot Tub and cosy fireplace over looking the scenic view. Lodge was very private and secure. They provided firewood and blankets for the nights we were there and hosted a small shop for immediate conveniences such as drinks and snacks. Their information booklet had detailed lists of local shops, restaurants and nearby walks which was amazing, it saved us a lot of effort in a new area trying to find things to explore. We didn't get chance to check out the farm they had with several animals but were lucky enough to have the farm house cats come visit us each morning which we loved!

Location was stunning, the host was lovely and it has beautiful walks on the doorstep. Hot tub definitely worth the extra money as elevates the stay to another level. The dog thoroughly enjoyed his stay as well!

We had such a lovely time at the shepherds hut, a perfectly peaceful and quiet get away - just what we needed! Great location for picturesque walks. We walked along Offas Dyke took 2.5 hrs straight from the hut. The local town had everything you needed only a short drive or 20 min walk away. We grabbed a takeaway pizza from Daphnes which was very delicious. Despite wet weather all weekend it did not dampen our spirits. The covered kitchen was a perfect location to cosy up and watch the thunder and lightning. It had everything you needed to make breakfast. The provided bread, bacon, eggs & milk were a lovely addition. The bed was very very comfy and the hut was clean, tidy & cosy. The hill up to the hut is steep but the provided wheelbarrow helped. Leaving in the rain was hilarious.

Fantastic few days staying here with my son. He loved having the top bunk as a little hideaway space. Really easy to get to Barmouth by train and then on to the Barmouth Ferry and steam train at Fairbourne. Amazing waking up to the sight and sound of the sea every morning. Everything we needed in the hut. Really appreciated the outdoor seating on the deck too.

Lovely place to spend a few days in peace in quiet. The hot tub was amazing and the hosts are very friendly. The hut is in close proximity to the Wye Valley, which is a great place to explore.

What can I say?! Firstly, the accommodation and amenities were absolutely amazing. Welcoming, homely and beautifully presented. We fell in love with Mables the charming little wagon. Although, admittedly, November probably isn't the greatest time to have a outdoorsy escape especially as Storm Bert was making an appearance, we had such a fantastic time. The hot tub was a welcome addition and relaxing with a bottle of wine while the stresses of every day life were soaked away was just what was needed. Martin and CarolAnne were incredibly kind and the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and they were on hand whenever we needed them but equally respectful to our privacy. We can't thank you enough for our stay and we'll hopefully be back soon with the kiddies in the Treehouse! Fingers crossed for better weather next time!

The Cowboys hut was a beautifully made hut in an idyllic location. Danna left a lovely welcome hamper on arrival and the hut was clean and tidy. The log fire kept us toasty and we would love to visit again.

my husband and I had a wonder 3 night stay in the shepherd hut. we arrived at 4pm and the hut and hot tub was already warm. the underfloor heating was amazing touch, and the hot tub was fantastic. extremely private and so quiet. Brian's instructions on getting there are very helpful and we used what 3 words. we had a bit of difficulty using the gas bbq, however Brian swiftly came to the rescue to show use how to use it. would definitely visit again. thank you both for a very relaxed break.

Me and my partner stayed for a couples night away and the hut was perfect. Very clean and just beautiful. The hot tub was lovely Location is very private The host was brilliant, messaging me keeping up to date with everything Lovely welcoming gifts We are definitely coming back but next time 2 nights instead of 1. We loved every minute of our stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Charlotte and Mito’s hut - it was everything we were hoping for. Super cosy and every last detail felt considered. The location was absolutely beautiful and felt very private, it really was special waking up to such a view. If you decide to use the BBQ, you may be lucky enough to have yourself a visitor come sniffing (Simon the lab). Thank you Charlotte and Mito for a wonderful stay!

A beautiful location, watching the sun setting over the sea to one side and mountains to the other from the hot tub was fantastic. The property was lovely and the perfect base for walking in Snowdonia, only an hour from Pen Y Pass carpark. Carol was a perfect host and made sure we had everything we needed . It was a pleasure meeting her dogs and watching the animals enjoy the sunshine in the adjoining fields

We stayed in this lovely Shepherds Hut for two nights and had an amazing time. We got lucky with gorgeous weather, spent a day on Skomer which was only a 20 minute drive away, and then had a beach day which again only took us 15 minutes to get to. The hut was in a private area, we had a lovey evening bbq and spent time in the hot tub. Sam gave great instructions on how to get there and check in and out, but also left us to it which we loved! Would stay again!

We had the most wonderful stay! The location is idealic. Perfect location if you want country hikes and exploring in the day and relaxing in the hot tub of the evening. There's an abundance of beautiful walks on the doorstep. The hut itself was perfect, absolutely pristine and had all of the amenities needed to feel like we were at a home away from home. Even down to treats and a water bowl for our dog. Jane was so welcoming, offering recommendations for activities for our visit. Very attentive and on the end of the phone if we needed anything. We would highly recommend staying here!

An incredibly relaxing and comfortable weekend stay, whilst we forged pointy things at The Oldfield Forge, highlighted by Mark and Teresa's superb hospitality. The hut and kitchen/bathroom building feature the best facilities with an outstanding attention to detail that serve to show the huge amount of love and thought built into everh nook and cranny. Great views and walks in the amazing natural surroundings too. Thank you both for making our 25th wedding anniversary that extra bit more special. Will definitely stay here again.

I visited here on a solo trip with my sister's dog for company. It was a truly restful, peaceful and calming experience. Eleri left me wine, crisps, chocolate and dog treats which was so lovely. Even though i was alone i felt very safe knowing the farm was nearby. The place was spotless and so homely and comfortable. So many beautiful spots for walking, beaches, mountains and amenities are all within 10-15 mins drive. I'll definitely visit again soon. Diolch yn fawr. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🤍❤️💚

We had an amazing stay here! Everything was spotless, including the bathroom. The hut was lovely and warm, with everything you need. The area was beautiful, with donkeys, horses and the lovely farm dog who came to visit us a few times. We felt very safe staying here. We were only a couple minutes drive from Conwy but it was also an easy 20 minute walk into the town. As well, it was a great location for hiking/ walking. With some beautiful trails only a 30 minute drive away. Would definitely recommend staying here! Thank you😊

Perfect location for a short break away in a relaxing setting but within close distance to the beaches on Anglesey. Everything we needed was available in the hut with a lovely welcome basket on arrival. The hut was absolutely amazing and Maggie is a fantastic host, couldn't do enough for us.

Sue’s place is absolutely stunning, photos do not do it justice! We were so lucky with the weather, but the place is stunning regardless. Super secluded and private, the garden is well enclosed meaning our German Shepard could have a great run around.. The hot tub was fantastic and was a welcome relief from the heat during the day when it was cooler. Super comfy bed…we probably brought a bit too much food in hindsight as we couldn’t fit everything in the fridge, so if you plan to do your own meals maybe bring along a cool box etc. Such an amazing stay, thanks so much Sue.

had a fantastic stay at the shepherds hut! The hut was very clean and cosy with everything provided. the surrounding views of the hills and mountains were outstanding! Beth as a host was amazing, she made sure we had everything we need and went extra doing things like lighting the hot tub so it was ready for our arrival. my gf and I are already talking about coming back, I couldn't recommend this place enough!

Our week here was absolutely glorious. I would highly recommend this as a wonderful place to stay. This is one of the best huts we've ever been to. It was immaculate and the views were outstanding. Watching the sunset here from the hot tub should be on everyone's bucket list. Manon is an excellent host and went out of her way to welcome us. We are already planning our second trip.

This place was just gorgeous. The field was so peaceful and beautiful, the fire pit was lovely and the cabin was so cosy. There were lots of lovely little touches and the bed was so comfy. There was plenty of wood to use and useful items like salt and milk. Great kitchen for cooking and our dog loved it. Thank you for a wonderful stay Maria.

This was our first stop on our honeymoon and Anthony could not have been more welcoming. Before arriving we were given a digital guidebook for the area which made planning the trip very easy. The hut is amazing, perfect size for two people, and is very private and spacious area outside of the hut to enjoy the hot tub. Would definitely recommend a stop there for anyone staying in the area.
