We enjoyed our stay, the place is quite and calm and that's what we need at that moment. it has good WiFi and TV, it was clean. Communication with Mauricia was good, she was always responding and even we could check out a little later. if we'll come back to Kampala,.we'll come back here with pleasure

The house was very good for the price. Everything was as shown in the pictures. Doreen was always helpful and very friendly.

After our previous stay, this time we stayed even longer. Once again it’s been very pleasant. By and large we can repeat what we wrote in Oct 2023, so please feel free to refer to that one. Obviously a longer stay means there’s more room for problems to occur. While hosts Allan/Joan are always responsive and helpful, sometimes a problem is beyond their control. We’ve had some power, internet, water issues, and the fixes were a bit slow due for the most part to incompetent staff. We like this compound, this unit, and the location, but it helps to know that quite a variety of things can go wrong in this compound and the fix may take longer than you’d expect. Despite that, we consider this unit great value for money, and the majority of our time here was great.

Victor's apartment in Kampala is fantastic! It’s clean, well-furnished, and fully equipped with all the essentials. The location is perfect—quiet yet close to local spots. Victor is a great host, always helpful. Highly recommend!

Very nice place. Located in a quiet forested area. Expect insects because of the trees. Well looked after and great place to stay if you want some quiet.

A great spot from which to access any part of Kampala as it's just by the Northern bypass. Will definitely stay again.

We had good times at Francois's place. A good place especially if you have children. You feel at home and the kids had much fun with neighbors kids. It's ideal for a family. Francois and his team are quickly responsive and very helpful in any circumstances. The place is in secure neighborhood and also has security cameras and the guard who is available 24h a day. For the first time access, google map gives a road which is not so good but there's an another road which is better and even quicker. There's different shops in neighborhood and the victoria mall is just 5-10min on boda boda. The place looks exactly as on pictures. The place is beyond the price, I really recommend. And if it happens you are at Francois house on a Saturday, don't miss the afternoon market on the main road every Saturday. In Summary, you'll never regret to stay at Francois's place. But remember this is Africa, so, don't get surprised by the electricity cut.

Clare's place is just what I needed in my search for a home away from home. It's easy to locate and is in an area near to all you could need in the form of amenities. She is very responsive and communicates promptly. I would definitely recommend her place and I look forward to being hosted again.

Doreen's place is located conveniently - on a quiet and peaceful street, not too far from Speke resort, where my meeting was. There's lots of space and little traffic, which is nice if you like taking evening walks. There are shops close by, and a short walk to some restaurants. Doreen was thoughtful to leave out some tea, coffee and milk which is useful in case one doesn't shop right away. The kitchenette is well-equipped, and the bed is comfortable. There's no work desk for the business traveller, but that's compensated for by a very comfy couch that I found good enough and powerful wi-fi for working at home. The bathroom has good space, but the toilet is not very conveniently placed, too close to the door, (it's not a deal breaker for me). I especially appreciated that Doreen's place is clean and 100% bug-free!

Jeanleticia's place was amazing. Beautiful view and location was easy to find. Was extremely clean and welcoming when I arrived. I was given late checkout which I highly appreciate but was still leaving in a rush and wish I had more time to clean up the kitchen area. Regardless this place is amazing and would love if granted to stay again. Beyond beautiful view and friendly staff. Highly recommend a stay here.

Beautiful set up and serene space

Honestly speaking, there's not enough words to describe how privileged i was to stay at Sophie's world! The apartment was exactly as described - clean, cozy, spacious and very private. The Apartment is located in a gated community with very professional 24-hr security guards overseeing access and egress for visitors. The neighborhood is very peaceful which attracts people from different walks of life. Sophie was such a fantastic host, communicative, and went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. The little touches, such as extra bed linen, pillows and towels, made my stay feel truly special. I appreciated the thoughtful recommendations for local restaurants, grocery stores and attractions, which helped me make the most of my time in Kampala. For anyone out there looking for a comfortable stay, value for money and a welcoming host, I recommend Sophie's world with the highest regard. Thank you, Sophie, for making my stay in Uganda memorable. I will surely be back!

We enjoyed our stay at Angel’s place. Our kids really enjoyed the playground, check in was easy, and she went above and beyond to communicate with us. Located in a great area, close to restaurants, but also the kitchen is well-equipped if you prefer to dine in.

Beautiful apartment, well-equipped, with an amazing view from the terrace — suitable for a small family or group of visitors. It is a safe and well-located property. Ashley is the host you hardly forget about even after leaving her place -a beautiful human-. She ensured we had a pleasant stay at her place, welcoming us in person, ushering us into the apartment and providing recommendations on activities and restaurants to visit. She was proactive and always available to respond to our queries. The apartment looks same as in the pictures. The kitchen is well equipped and this really helped as we prefer to eat home cooked food. Everything was clean and neat. It will definitely be our choice next time we return to Kampala.
