Kay's place was perfect for a couple of night's getaway. She was a very quick communicator and everything was as expected. She kindly left us freshly baked bread, as well as honey and apples from her property. The beds were very comfy and the whole place was well stocked and much more spacious than we expected. Kay's husband James sorted the pizza over for us and we cooked homemade pizzas. The property is private and secluded but just up a driveway from the road. Would highly recommend both the hosts and the property. Would happily stay again or suggest it to friends and family.

Staying at this place for a couple of months, feels like my home away from home. Living room, kitchen and bathroom are all great. Bobbie responds quickly to any requests with good information.

Back again! It’s a great place with incredible views out to the Barriers. Simple but stylish with plenty of tools in the kitchen to knock up a great feed, and, the best slumber with the comfiest of beds. I reckon we’ll be back!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Nev & Rach’s beautiful home. Lots of space, very clean, amazing views and nice neighbourhood. Locals were friendly. Also the baby safety gates were very handy for our toddler. First time in Paihia and if I ever visit again I will definitely rebook. Thanks for having our family.

Beautiful spot in Mangawhai, views from the kitchen and lounge areas are amazing. The home was spotless and is the perfect venue for exploring everything that Mangawhai has to offer. Great value for money and I would definitely recommend.

This is a fantastic place for the family to spend the holiday. It is immaculate and big, which suits a family's special occasion. We love the place, especially our kids, who enjoyed the swimming and spa pools. Not only that, but it is so close to the beach for swimming and surfing. There is a local park and soccer field that we usually walk to play or exercise. Lisa is a friendly host who responds promptly if we need help. This is one of the best holiday homes available in the area, and we would love to return there. It is very secure and private for us visitors. We extended our visit for another day as we all enjoyed and loved the place and the area. There were 10 of us altogether, and it was worth the money we paid, and I highly recommend this place. We can’t wait to come back here. We were four couples, two young children. The house and facilities gave everyone plenty of space to relax and enjoy time together. It’s a great space with plenty to do.

It was a great stay and the hosts were very friendly and helpful to make sure we had everything we needed. Despite a couple of widespread power outages, the hosts still made sure our stay was as undisturbed as possible. And made sure we had power and a warm stay through bad weather. And they even offered for us to move or cancel before hand knowing the weather and the risks that we due.

Jo was an amazing host, easy to message if need be and made us feel welcome. will be booking again next time i am in auckland. depending on where you do wanna go. $20 uber to the CBD or ponsonby and was a large space for a weekend getaway

We loved this Ruakaka holiday home. It was so warm and homely with a perfect layout, super clean, comfy beds and we loved the set up of the garage. Even though the weather wasn't great, we jumped in the pool. This place would be so epic in summer. Sarah was the perfect host, super responsive.

We were surprised how peaceful the property was, considering we were in Auckland, coming from a rural home it was nice and relaxing, just sitting around enjoying what the property had to offer. Grant was exceptionally proactive and professional with his communication and we felt comfortable if we had any questions, queries or concerns we could rea h out without any bother. Overall great place to meet up with family and lived ones for a get away.

Shivani is an absolutely delight and a fantastic host! The description and pictures represented the beautiful and tastefully decorated home to perfection. It was really a home away from home. Beautiful location, gorgeous views and incredibly well maintained property and home. Thank you Shivani, for your generous hospitality, warm and helpful nature and being so incredibly responsive. Upmarket accommodation in a great location. We loved the espresso machine for a coffee first thing in the morning; and the spa later in the day. Laurence is a very responsive host and clearly wants to make sure guests have everything they need to enjoy their stay. We'd look to stay here again in future.

Jeremy & Andrea were helpful and friendly. We had a fantastic stay! The place was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was ideal, just a short walk to the beach, which was perfect for morning and evening walk One of the highlights was definitely the wood-fired pizza oven. It was such a fun we really enjoyed making pizzas and spending the evening outdoors

The hosts of Songbird Cottage have gone to a lot of trouble to make this place special. So many lovely features, both inside the cottage and around the grounds. One of the best instructions manuals we have encountered, including lots of great recommendations for local walks, attractions and eateries. Top marks.

I had a wonderful stay. Anette was responsive and clear with instructions, especially when the weather was so uncertain. The place was cozy and walking distance to the beach, which was perfect for our morning walks. Would come back again! Thanks
