What a Great place! Close to everything, but very peaceful. Great for day trips! The bed was very comfortable. Which is good after a day of exploring. Very friendly host! Made sure we had everything we needed. What a beautiful property.

The apartment was well-appointed with every amenity needed for a pleasant stay. Very clean and comfortable. Quiet and secluded yet walking distance to two beautiful beaches and close to nice restaurants. Liz was very quick to respond to questions and very helpful.

It’s conveniently located close to the airport. Easy check in/out. We also appreciated being able to do some laundry. Thanks Ania and John!

Our family had the most unforgettable stay at this beautiful home on the Big Island! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and completely at ease. The house was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need — from beach towels and snorkeling gear to a fully equipped kitchen perfect for family meals. Waking up to the sounds of nature and enjoying coffee with a view each morning was pure magic. The location was ideal — close enough to explore beaches, and local spots, yet peaceful and private enough to feel like a true retreat. Our hosts were incredibly kind and responsive, offering great recommendations and making sure our stay was seamless. We created memories here that our family will cherish forever. If you’re looking for a home away from home in paradise, this is it! Mahalo for everything — we can’t wait to return!

We had a great stay at Lorelle Petite Retreat apartment. We loved the location being on the hill; it was nice, cool and tranquil. The space was clean and well shocked. Lorelle is a very generous, friendly person.We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation.

Would certainly stay again. Well-located home base near Kona, close to everything but outside the main hustle and bustle. Easy checkin. A few other reviewers mentioned some loud neighbors - I experienced nothing like that. Place was just as described and perfect for my needs. Thanks!

Wir haben uns wie zuhause gefühlt. Liz und Mike sind unglaublich tolle Gastgeber mit einer super Unterkunft, die komplett ausgestattet ist. Die Lage ist einwandfrei, wir haben viele tipps bekommen und uns wurde immer sofort geholfen ! Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft zu 100% !

We had a lovely stay at this cozy little studio tucked away behind the main house. It’s a tiny home, but incredibly well-equipped — it had everything we needed, from barbecue burner grill and washer/dryer to beach chairs and even a first aid kit, which really shows the hosts have thought of everything. The space itself is super clean and comfortable, and the private covered patio was a perfect spot to relax with a morning coffee or unwind in the evening. The backyard is beautiful and peaceful, with fruit trees and even a few chickens roaming around. Despite feeling like a quiet retreat, the location is also very convenient — just about 15 minutes from restaurants and grocery stores. Overall, it was a perfect balance of comfort, privacy, and accessibility. Would recommend to anyone who visits around Kona.

I can't say enough about how great this place is. It's beautiful, inside and out. It's actually the nicest Airbnb we've ever stayed at. Really, everything is top-notch, down to the products Jennifer uses, the availability of laundry facilities, and the friendliness of the host. Jennifer was so accommodating, bringing us veggies and fruit from the garden, and even bringing us something we left behind to the next place we were staying in town. I was a little intimidated by the steep driveway at first, and I wouldn't recommend showing up for the first time after dark, but I quickly adapted. The place is so quiet and peaceful, and I would say the pictures on the website don't even capture how lovely it is. I would definitely stay here again if we're fortunate enough to return to the Big Island.

We had a nice 3 day stay in the loft. It is nice, has a great view and is a short drive away from beaches and generally everything on the West coast. I would stay here again.

Just as pictured, two beds plus sofa bed. Mary was very communicative and accommodating. Location is an easy 20 minutes to Waikoloa resorts, and just longer to Waimea.

This was the perfect place for me to stay traveling alone! Bed was very comfortable and it was really everything I wanted. Close to everything, will definitely return when back to the big island!

Owl’s Nest” — it was the cutest and coziest place I have ever stayed in. There were so many owls everywhere — it was even fun to count how many there were! Owls were on the towels, bed linens, mugs, lamps — everything was decorated with owl elements, with a lot of love and attention to detail. The place is very nice and peaceful. There is a beautiful waterfall on the property — you can enjoy your morning coffee while sitting on a chair or relaxing in a hammock, watching the water. Cute little geckos were running around, and we even spotted a tiny frog. One important thing to know: at night, the frogs croak very loudly, which might disturb your sleep. But the host thought of everything — there are earplugs placed by the bed, which was very thoughtful and caring. The cabin was very clean, cozy, and a wonderful place to stay. Highly recommend it!

One of the best Airbnb stay we’ve had in a while! Heather was so welcoming and communicative. She gave us fresh fruit during our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful time at the Mango farm, and we couldn’t appreciate more for such a great and wonderful host 🌸🌸

This is a beautiful spot. Wendy was very accommodating. The house was beautiful exactly as it was advertised. Beach entrances everywhere absolutely fabulous place. We will definitely come again.

Outstanding air bnb. My family and I loved staying here. We slept well in the cozy beds, ate well in the amazing kitchen and lounged beautifully all around. I adored the full size ld and brand new washer and dryer! Absolutely a hidden gem of all gems. Well appointed in every way. And we even fell in love with the sweet neighbor pup who thoughtfully greeted us daily. Kenya has a great property (with a spectacular view) and a kindness that is steeped into her home, her instruction, and her hospitality. Absolutely 10/10. We would return!!! Actually I would stay anywhere else on the big island. Thank you so much, Kenya!

This property is a hidden gem. We spent 5 glorious, magical nights here. Our host, Paul was welcoming and you can tell he really cares that his guests have what they need. The space is wonderful. We only needed the ac once when there was no wind. The other times you only need the tradewinds. We really enjoyed moving from space to space when it was too hot or too windy. Whatever we were doing for the day, we looked forward to coming back to this place and settling in as we watched the sunset. If you’re lucky enough to get a reservation, do it. You won’t be sorry.

Kona Mountain Refuge was absolutely amazing we really enjoyed our time here. Beautiful view overlooking the stars, the views were incredible! Beautiful kitchen, comfortable bed. They had all amenities for a beach, chairs, umbrella, snorkeling, after sun care. Beautiful stay on the Kona side thank you so much!!

I arrived in Kona earlier than expected and wasn’t sure where to stay, but thankfully the host allowed an early check-in, which made everything so much easier. The place was clean, comfortable, and made for a great stay. Thank you!

Sheena’s studio is awesome, very spacious for 2 people and away from all the busyness. Everything was super comfortable, especially the bed, and best of all this place has all the small essentials you need for a great stay like laundry detergent, beach gear, and shower stuff. The kitchen was also super helpful as we were able to cook our meals and we had everything we needed there. Being higher up the place never got too hot and we slept very comfortably at night with the fans. Sheena was an amazing host, accommodating and friendly! Highly recommend this place for your trip to the big island.
