We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, just wish it had been longer. Fantastic location, we could walk to town and the beach, and the cafe across the road was a bonus. The house was spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed. The ping pong table was enormously popular with the teenagers and grandparents alike. We wold love to stay here again some time.

Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an unglaublich wohlgefühlt. Zur Begrüßung wurden wir mit frisch gebackenem Brot, Butter, Eiern, Milch, frischem Obst und Marmelade verwöhnt – eine liebevolle Geste, die unseren Aufenthalt von Beginn an besonders gemacht hat. Hätten wir die Möglichkeit, mehr Sterne zu vergeben, würden wir es ohne zu zögern tun. Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit und sind Roimata von Herzen dankbar, dass sie uns so kurzfristig aus dem Regen in diese traumhafte Unterkunft aufgenommen hat. Der Kaffee von Hunter am Tag unserer Abreise hat das ganze perfekt abgerundet :)

Lovely place in beautiful surroundings! Inger was very responsive and easy to communicate with, she had a beautiful welcome basket of goodies on arrival! The place is a good size, and very private. The hot tub was a great way to start - and end - each day!

Perfect little getaway spot, well appointed and close to town and beach. Friendly owners with many suggestions to make the most of our stay. Pet - friendly is a bonus.

Awesome stay myself and my wife loved it and the places for food tha they said were second to none

This is a great place. There is so much room I think 3 families could stay comfortably without getting under each others feet. Some things that I liked... That view! Breathtaking. It was like you were on the water. The WIFI was fast. The water was hot. There was great water pressure = a lovely shower. The loo with a view. 50 steps from bottom of the house to the top! The twisty roads in. Getting there felt like an adventure right from the start. The hot water beach at Kawhia - hire spades from the Museum/Info place. No need to go all the way to Coromandel. The coast road to Bridal Veil Falls (although the sealed road is faster and easy). We had a 4WD but there were plenty of regular cars there too. It had been raining but the road was good and so scenic. A great base to go to adventuring on day trips to Rotorua, Hobbits, Waitomo, Hamilton Gardens (stunning!) and probably many other wonderful places in this gorgeous country. Enjoy!

For a basic “basement suite”, this accommodation has lots of light, is clean and comfortable, close to a great little coffee shop and very convenient to get on the highway to head south or get to the airport. We had another great stay and appreciate how friendly and responsive our hosts were!

The place was very clean and tidy. Perfect location and view was incredible. The bedrooms were spacious. The facilities are very modern and well maintained.

Great place for an escape with family and friends

Classic kiwi beach house, highly recommended. If there don’t seem to be many reviews here it’s probably because they are all in the guest book at the house.

This was the perfect place for us (4 sisters) treating our 90 yr old mum for her birthday. We rented both upstairs and downstairs so plenty of space and very easy for our mum to get around. The beachfront location was amazing. Gabrielle was very accommodating with a couple of requests we had and always prompt in replying. We would not hesitate to rent here again.

Such a beautiful property and location right on the water, great for our group with plenty of space and outdoor area for young children. Very peaceful and relaxing plus an easy walk into town.
