Viti Levu : chambres d'hôtel

As described, budget room with clean double bed and fridge. there's no A/C but a fan, which keeps you cool in the humidity. It's not too hot a night, so A/C not needed. Though the humidity does make things feel a bit damp. Shared toilet block gets cleaned daily, basic but functional. Beautiful rainforest setting with a restaurant in the complex. It's the only place to eat in the area though, and options are limited. I'm vegetarian and there's only one veggie option on the menu, which they didn't have. The chef made me vegetable stir-fry both nights. There's also a little kitchen with kettle/microwave/toaster for use. There's only one activity in the area, the Colo-I-Suva forest walk ($5 cash a head) so I wouldn't stay more than 1-2 nights. Easy to get there $12-15 taxi from Suva or public bus $2.80.

Wanted to see Naisoso Island. Never been before. Nice place. Gated community, but with a road/bridge access to the mainland. Had expected the noise from the airplanes at nearby Nadi Airport to be severe, but not at all, barely audible. Thanks Jie.

I had a great stay! The staff was super friendly and the food in the restaurant delicious. But there also many other restaurants you can go to that are nice! The music was loud, yes, but stopped at 10pm (I stayed mon-fri). The room is basic and is a little bit more run down than shown in the picture. But I didn't mind.

nice place. we booked 3x rooms. only issue was their linen management, when we checked in, hsk were waiting for pillow cases, at 7pm there was no bath towel and hsk were waiting for another delivery. colonial hotel but facilities were fine. hotel is right on the beach and you can hear the ocean waves. bar staff were really nice. reception staff were rude, bossy, not listening and struggling to find our booking in their booking system and email. I suggest you message them to confirm your airbnb booking and also telephone them at least a week before. cocktails were nice, food was good but fries were soggy (all 6 meals had same soggy chips ordered at different times). overall enjoyed our stay. i was right on top in room 15. recommend this place to other travellers.

Very very lovely stay, highly recommend sailors. Very friendly and helpful staff and felt very much at home with the warm welcoming every time we went back to the restaurant, lovely breakfast and dinner options and very delicious, will come back

Hannah’s place was amazing for us. It’s clean, it’s cozy, nice mattress and pillows, aircon and free washing machine! It also has a cute pool with chairs outside where you can relax and read a book. Coffee shop (with nice barista coffee) and dinner nearby. Also a quick walk to the pier. Loved it. Kitchen is big and comfortable but only has the resources for one person cooking at the time (only one electric stove)

Booked family room which is right on the top. nice spacious room with amazing views, right on the beach. we had a wonderful stay. highly recommend this room to others even if you are a solo traveller, give yourself a treat. vinaka.

The pictures and description don’t really capture or do justice to the amazing view and all around vibe of the space. Tony, the in-house chef / all-around guests liaison, was really amazing, super nice, and as helpful as can be. The pool is great, the reef spans, basically from the shore, out. Amazing snorkeling, paddle boarding, or kayaking. The walk down the beach spans both ways, at least 10 minutes to the right, and 20 minutes to the right. Being able to have your meals included for a very reasonable daily fee is beyond helpful. Full bar, fresh drinking water. Plenty of spaces to go sit and enjoy the view, including 2 separate in-ground hot tub sized sitting / swimming pools, right off the beach. If you’re expecting luxury and squeaky clean, Fiji isn’t the place for you. Although it is very much clean, Fiji is an island mostly untainted by tourism and fussiness of other cultures, and retains a lot of its purity and culture. Will definitely be back!
