Nikki and her husband were absolutely fabulous. we had zero issues and if there was something that needed to get figured out they were very patient and very kind. I think every time I go to salt screen I will make sure I get this place by booking months in advance if I have to. thank you for making us stay such a beautiful stay. my boyfriend and I had an absolutely fantastic time so thank you!

What a fantastic place! From the view to the hot tub to the really great and well stocked space, we had an amazing stay here with everything that we needed. Even some toys for my toddler! This is a real gem and my only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. I could spend days sitting in the sun room or on the deck watching the wildlife and the view. We will definitely be back! Thanks Carol for a wonderful stay.

Good and cozy place!

Looking for a place with a great view? Amazing, clean and spacious living spaces? Somewhere you can be well looked after? Well, look no further, Zoe's place checks all those boxes and more! With a well-stocked kitchen, two (full!) bathrooms and a great patio to enjoy the view of the Strait (not to mention the baby-grand piano!), this home-away-from-home is the perfect place for your next getaway! The house is absolutely beautiful and well stocked! Absolutely recommend this location for anyone with larger groups looking for an oasis of peace and beauty for their trips to Victoria!

This won’t be surprising because it’s been said in every review. This place is amazing. To have an acre and a half of private, oceanfront property is rare. We loved everything. Sitting on the deck with a glass of wine listening to the waves come in was sublime. Corinne is for sure the quickest, friendliest, most generous host I’ve encountered through Airbnb. Bathrooms had great water pressure. When we had a little downtime, the TV was big and fantastic. The hikes around the area are just top notch. What people haven’t mentioned though is Corinne doesn’t have a lengthy ‘clean to do list’ for when you leave. I also think people are walking away from Airbnb’s due to price gouging. This place is crazy reasonable and I will come again! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Mary Ellen was responsive to my questions and greeted us when we arrived. The cabin matched description and photos- we selected this location due to views and quiet, and was not disappointed. Kitchen has utensils and supplies for light cooking (although we didn't do any ourselves). The bathroom was clean, had the necessities. The patio was perfect for enjoying morning coffee and listening to the birds. If like me you are a city-dweller looking to get away from it all, then this cabin could be for you. It's a 15-min drive to town, and a 5-min drive to scenic lookouts including Lime Kiln. As others have mentioned, the road leading up to the house is windy/steep; the path that leads to the cabin is also steep (decline) and cell service is pretty poor. It was chilly, but did not bother us to the point I inquired about heating, but be aware the provided baseboard heater only kicks out a little bit of heat. Overall great value for location and access to nature.
