On our way to this Air BNB we thought we were in the sticks, and we were. It was beautiful, quiet, not too many people around, and the home was exactly as the pictures showed. It was very comfortable the weather was nice enough to sit on the balcony one day. We would go back again.

Recommended place to stay with families

Four of us stayed at Ryan’s place for a girl’s weekend and it was fantastic. The home needs some cosmetic updating but that mattered not at all to us- the place was clean and perfect for us to just hang out. The views are beautiful and it’s an easy drive to downtown Galena. We especially loved how there are labels on things in the kitchen and light switches to make it easy to know where to put things or what turns something on, etc. We also loved being able to leave the house at check out and not have a laundry list of things we must do to clean up. There was a coffee maker but no coffee, so make sure if you are coming you bring your own. We just borrowed from a neighbor until we could get into town and buy some. Our stay couldn’t have been better and we so appreciate the hospitality.

Beautiful home, with awesome view of golf course. Plenty of space to move about , large deck to sit and relax. Alex was very accommodating on check in time and was very responsive. Gave us detailed instructions for checking in and checking out. Lighting was labeled so there was no guessing on which switches controlled which lighting which was very helpful

Oh boy a must stay we walked in and absolutely Beautiful!!! All our needs were met!!! Jacuzzi was so nice with fun lights!! Just so pretty!!! Would stay again loved it!!♥️

Our stay at the Carwash Inn was lovely!! The space is cozy and was perfect for our needs. The whole place was very clean and the bed was very comfortable, would recommend!

Great weekend getaway. Kelly was the greatest host. Kelly was very accomodating for my elderly Dad & I. Beautiful house & great scenery. If you like peace & quiet, Kelly's house is it. Everything felt like I was at home. Returning in August.

My husband and I visited this rental for the first time recently and fell in love. It was close to our family but decent space to relax and was quite! I would 100% recommend this rental and the owner was SO helpful and responsive. Couldn’t recommend a better place in the area!

We had such a unique and fun experience at this Airbnb! Loved the location in downtown Rockford — we walked to coffee every morning and enjoyed the central location. My four year old was especially thrilled with the pac man game and opportunity to paint. Would stay again!

Katherine was very responsive and flexible with our families needs! She gave a wonderful recommendation for dinner and was incredibly accommodating with very short notice. The neighborhood was great, it was a quiet home and the kids felt great during our stay! We would recommend and will likely reach out if we’re in the area again!

The Crown Lodge did not disappoint. It was exactly as pictured. Everything a home should have was provided. We didn't need to bring any household item. The home was spotless and beautiful. Very spacious. We could park our cars in the garage. Danice was in the area and kept an eye on her beautiful property, as she should. I would highly recommend this property to anyone thinking of playing in Merrimac or Baraboo. It was minutes from Baraboo which is where we did all our playing. It was private and I can only imagine how beautiful the surroundings would be in the peak of summer. The outdoor property had a nice touch with yard ornaments and a wood burning fire pit. The back porch was gorgeous, and I wish the weather was warmer so we could have enjoyed it more. This is a year-round rental. Great for skiing at Cascade Mountain and great for summer activities in Baraboo or even the Dells. You will not be disappointed renting Danice's home.

From making the reservation through check out Mary was great to work with. The property is just as described and a wonderful accommodation for a bachelorette gathering of 9+1 infant. The house was well furnished with comfortable beds and lots of extras that made our stay extra special. Having private parking was a big plus. The house is within walking distance of restaurants and shopping. Our group loved the private porch area for gathering. We never ran out of things to do! We highly recommend the Rowhouse and Galena for a fun weekend getaway.

The house is in a neighborhood of nice homes, peaceful and walkable. It was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was so well organized with everything you need and the bathrooms were spotless. It’s in a perfect location to restaurants. Highly recommend and will reserve again.

My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay at this cute house. My dog appreciated the large fenced-in yard! The house is nicely decorated and comfortable. I loved the quiet, tree-lined neighborhood which is walking distance to Lake Monona. Will definitely stay here again!

This place was fantastic! Easy to find and access, a great theme, spotless, and comfortable. The neighborhood doesn’t have the most curb appeal, but we honestly loved that about it - it’s down to earth, community-centered, and nature-focused. It has very close access to the bike path that goes into the city, which we took full advantage of. It’s also one of the cleanest places we’ve stayed! Normally carpet would feel weird to me, but this was so well cared for. I’d love to visit Madison again (I say that about many places), and I’d absolutely love to stay at Stephen’s place in the future.

My daughter actually broke a major appliance during our stay, Shari’s first concern when I notified her about it was the safety and well being of my daughter. That itself spoke volumes, outside of that she was even more than understanding and was the most accommodating to resolve the issue. We’ll definitely be returning when we are in the area again.

We were in town for the Fall Art Tour and Etienne's property was perfectly located for our home base for the weekend. There were only two of us, but we are already thinking of how much fun it would be to come back for a family gathering. The house is within walking distance of High Street with all of it's shops and restaurants. The rear of the property has a secluded fire ring were we began the day with a cup of coffee and ended the day with a glass of wine. Lots of cozy sitting areas begging you to slow down and curl up with a good read. No TV! I love that! Turn off the news, people! We had a wonderful, peaceful and relaxing weekend and we definitely intend to return. Thank you, Etienne.
