Great 180 degree Views from south end of Vashon Island. Spectacular views of Mt. Rainier and Pt. Defiance. Tacoma city and Commencement Bay lights up views at night while Pt. Defiance is dark. This cozy 1 bedroom has a king size bed, 1 bath with a shower and unique 1/2 size tub. The views are amazing from the bedroom, kitchen and living area. At high tide you feel like you are on a boat. Access to our private boat ramp for kayak, SUP, or other small watercraft. Come enjoy being on the water!

Use the kayaks to paddle around Gig Harbor--or paddle to the Tides Tavern or Anthony's seafood for lunch! Watch the ferries go by and relax, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Enjoy breathtaking sunsets over the Olympic mountains, kayaking, BBQing, a forest hiking trail with sea and mount Rainier views, beach walks, and downtown Vashon (less than 10 mins away!). Please note: The parking lot is a few minutes walk from the cottage.

The Fox Den is a stand-alone cabin, located in a quiet neighborhood on Fox Island. It's a 1-minute drive, or 10 minute walk to the public beach (Fox Island Sand Spit) *Update* The Fox Island Sandspit, will be closed for maintenance on September 22, 2025 and reopen by December 1, 2025. The Fox Island Fishing Pier is still open. (12-minute drive from the Fox Den) Dogs: Up to 1 well behaved dog, is allowed with extra pet fee of $25 per stay. (No Cats Please)

There are 5 acres of mountain and sea views, extensive Japanese gardens, ponds, fir and cedar groves. This is a peaceful place for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and furry friends (pets). National Forest and Park trails are ten minutes away.
