This fully outfitted cabin has all your cooking essentials for your stay. Fully stocked with zero waste, all natural/organic cleaners and soaps for your enjoyment. EV charger available upon request. The Hilltop Hideaway was lovingly built in 2023 by newlywed hosts, Jake & Fran. With an emphasis on quality finishes & modern details, the space radiates a luxurious yet charming feel. With 2 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms & an open living space, this is the perfect place to relax & connect with travel partners! J&F placed a big emphasis on outdoor entertaining with a massive covered deck, the picnic table patio, & access to a cedar barrel sauna! Whether coming from close or far, you deserve it!

Heather Cottage - Beautiful Wetland Views

Charming small cottage situated on the edge of wetlands with beautiful views. Private gazebo with covered firepit and a dock over looking the large pond. Located on our 5 acre free range egg farm in Merville, BC. The pond is home to a family of beavers, bald eagles, blue heron and various birds. Private walking trail off the cottage and access to the One Spot Trail at the end of our private drive. We are 20 mins from downtown Courtenay and 10 mins to the Mount Washington turn off.

Surrounded by aromatic fir and cedar trees, this home was thoughtfully crafted with polished heated concrete floors, high beam ceilings, and a wood-burning stove, providing a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Unwind by the fire or indulge in a soothing soak in the hot tub after a day of exploring the beauty of the Juan De Fuca Trail or nearby beaches. Come and experience all that Jordan River has to offer.

Welcome to a few days of relaxing. You're at the beach in 5 minutes or just step out the door to the forest. Sleep in, order a pizza and play a board game by the cozy woodstove. Put on your best duds for a dinner date down by the ocean. Maybe a fire in the backyard with a cup of cocoa? Full bathroom and everything you need for a tea or coffee and light breakfast. Mini fridge and microwave. Please note there is no kitchen and we live on the property with our blue heeler.

A short intermediate private trail will take you down to the beach. The 560 square foot cabin is set back on the property, offering spectacular panoramic views of the Juan de Fuca Straight. Cozy up by the wood fire in this cozy 1 king bed cabin or have a bath in the outdoor bathtub and enjoy the breathtaking views!
