Blackbird is a thoroughly comfy cosy nest for settling in and making the most of what Martinborough has to offer. Just a block back from the central square, handy to everything yet quiet. Plenty of comfortable space to relax both inside and out in the lovely private garden with various seating options. As chefs we appreciated a sizeable, very well appointed and supplied kitchen and dining area. With the bedroom, bathroom and common area set up it creates a flexible set up for two couples travelling together, a group of singles or a family. Very much a comfy home away from home. We had a fantastic stay. This was an awesome location. Nicola was also very flexible with late checkout when we had a delayed flight departure and sleeping baby.

Great neighbourhood and location. The house was comfortable and quiet and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. Easy access to the city. Great fire for cold nights!

We travelled from Auckland to play golf in the area. The house was perfect for us: four bedrooms and old style Kiwi hospitality and generosity. Breakfast was provided as well as welcome treats. It was like visiting someone's home that you could make your own for the stay. We cooked both nights we were there (BBQ) and enjoyed the indoor/outdoor living. I will recommend Twin Palms to anyone I know going to stay in the area. Comfortable, great value for money and with all amenities. Anne Marie is also a great host. Always available but unobtrusive. We communicated by messaging throughout and she was responsive and accommodating. I commend her for the pleasure and comfort she brings to travellers staying at the property but mostly for her generosity of spirit. She really wants people to enjoy their stay and does a great job ensuring they do by providing everything they could need and more. Twin Palms is a real find. Anne Marie is the wonderful host you never meet but wish you could.

This is a lovely place to stay that you feel right at home as soon as you check in. The house is fully equipped with everything that you need and more with some nice touches. The view of Kapiti Island from the balcony is majestic, a real treat for the area. Easy walk down the beach t check out the local shops for food or coffee. A delightful stay - thanks!

We had a great stay at the house. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped with everything we needed and more. Loved the selection of pottery around the living room and other artefacts. The location is most convenient, only a minutes walk to the shopping centre of the Greytown. We'd stay here again.

Wir haben nur eine Nacht in der Unterkunft von Renee verbracht und waren froh ein so gemütliches Zuhause für die Zeit gehabt zu haben, da wir aufgrund von schlechtem Wetter die volle Zeit im Apartment verbracht haben. Die Unterkunft ist wie beschrieben und wenn man sich auf die Stufen auf dem Weg schon einstellt sind diese auch machbar :) inklusive des schönen Ausblicks (selbst bei schlechtem Wetter) hat man hier eigentlich alles was man benötigt!

Such a great place to stay, perfect for our group. Lots of space, both as a large group but also breakout areas. Outdoors is stunning, great to wander around in the sun and fresh air, very quiet and peaceful - our dogs love it!! Well equipped throughout, kitchen had all the staples and plenty of serving ware for group meals, bedrooms were all fabulously set out, plenty of extra bedding and towels if needed. Lots of games to have fun with, plus the pool and tennis court. We had a blast, thank you for having us!!

The house was tidy, very well appointed, clean and gorgeous. The deck is huge and the proximity to the wineries and the square was perfect.

The place was just as pictured. Lovely loft barn style super cozy and comfortable. Jessica took the time to light the fire and have the place already warm for us before we got then and as very accommodating with any request. Would happily book here again

We always stay here when we come to Martinborough and Greytown. It's the perfect location and we feel very comfortable. The bedding is pristine and the decor is pleasing to the eye. Very stylish, immaculately clean amd comfortable....ticks All boxes! We stay here atleast 3 times every year! Love ❤️ this accommodation amd highly recommend 👌

Great house for two families, we enjoyed the hot tub, children loved the communal pool, tennis court and trampoline! It was a great way to visit an area that didn’t seem to have a huge amount for children to do.

Thank you, what a lovely and special family home, it made for a magical and relaxing xmas break. Beautiful deco home with bohemian vibes. A spacious garden area to play led to an ethereal private pathway to the beach which was dotted with wild flowers. Original deco elements retained in the bathrooms. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds with views. Would not hesitate to recommend. Many thanks.

Right from the start we had good communications and a friendly welcome. Beautiful position and views and quiet and tranquil. Was a restful and peaceful 4 days. We were welcomed by Donna as we drove up to the house and she walked us to our rooms and explained everything to us showing us around the flat. There was fresh milk in the fridge along with chocolates and fruit from the garden. Dean was friendly and helpful, and we had several long conversations over the weekend about the property and the Kapiti Coast in general. The purpose of our stay was to relax but also visit the area with a view to moving to the Kapiti area, all our expectations were fulfilled, friendly people, lovely beaches and scenery and great weather. We loved staying at this lovely little cottage. It was a little house really. Great to have a washing machine and dryer. Also great kitchen supplies and set up. Not that we used it much except for our own breakfast but there were so many things supplied. I would recommend it to anyone.

What a wonderful, peaceful country home away from home. Belinda and family were so responsive and generous with farm/animal experiences for the kids. Tiny house is very comfortable and adaptable. Featherston around the corner with cozy places to eat and peruse.

We had a great stay at Rochelle’s it’s so peaceful & quiet but handy to shops & trains. Very comfortable & amazing views

Great place to stay if you need a place for a few days in Upper Hutt. I would stay again and also recommend to others. It was great that it was dog friendly as well, our mini schnauzer also enjoyed our stay.

Great unique stay for me and my dog, we loved it and would have stayed longer! Carolann was lovely and as I was arriving later had it all set up for me to be nice and warm! Comfortable bed and great space. We loved it.
