Margaret was such a lovely host! She was very helpful, communicative and so gracious. Would definitely recommend booking here to anyone!

This is definitely the best area of Washington DC. It does not feel like a busy city at all; more like a Northern European village. Big, brick-built houses; lots of trees, etc. Michael is a very interesting, intelligent and engaging host. I enjoyed our various conversations. You will have the entire top floor of the house to yourself, including a large sitting room and library. The bedroom is very quiet. Michael will not intrude on you there. He stays on the lower floors. It is a little bit like being in a penthouse apartment. The house is maybe a 5 minute walk from a vibrant area of bars & restaurants, but the immediate area of the house is peaceful. For eating, I would recommend Bistrot Lepic, to the north of the house. I hope to be back on my next visit to DC.

Craig's place was beautiful and in a very peaceful and scenic location. His dog Dancer was very sweet and Craig was helpful getting us checked in and showing us the place. Very comfortable and spacious!

My boyfriend and I stayed for a weekend while we were in town for a wedding! This is the perfect place for a short—or long-term stay if you will be in the Shoreline area! It was just big enough for us to get ready comfortably while remaining very cozy! We had a blast staying here and would happily stay again (and will if it is available!) the next time we are up in Shoreline!

Beautiful place to stay, Gary is a super nice host, walking distance to downtown, shopping, and great restaurants. Will definitely stay again when we are back in Guthrie.
