Can I just say WOW?!?! This stay was truly a dream Christmas family vacation that we will never forget. We had more fun spending time in the cabin than we did going anywhere else. There was space for the adults and kids to equally enjoy. The hosts were so caring and accommodating and even had a Christmas tree put up for us before we got there. The amenities, the space, the cleanliness, etc., were incredible! Lifelong memories, thank you so much!!!

This is the perfect getaway for a quiet mountain retreat. The back porch is the best perch for a little quiet time to unplug. All of the basics were there for a family to feel right at home. The shallow rippling river made a little “ride” for the kids to float down until well after the sun went down. Coopers Creek store is 5-10 min away if you run out of s’mores, eggs or firewood. The locals are super friendly and hosts were superb. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to family and friends.

We rented in the winter, so we didn’t access the lake, just enjoyed the outside furniture for reading and watching beautiful sunsets. The outdoor fire pit was the site for savory s’mores and stories of childhood as we gathered for the holidays with all of our adult children. There was space for everyone with 6 bedrooms and a giant kitchen! The property manager is the sweetest, most responsive lady we have ever experienced at an Airbnb. She went out of her way to make sure our stay exceeded our expectations in every way. An issue upon arrival was handled immediately. And then follow up to be sure our family’s week together was nothing short of perfect. Highly recommend!

This is my favorite Tiny Home in Blue Ridge. The added decks with the grill and fire pit make it more special. It is comfy and feels like home. I enjoy renting from Craig. He is quick to respond and is open to requests.

We had a great time and felt very much at home. The location and property is beautiful. The beds are super comfortable. The host is easy to get a hold of and responsive.

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked for cooking in, and the amenities were great. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, and fishing along the river. The kids toys and games were a nice addition. Nicki was very friendly and responsive. We’d love to stay here again next year!

This was honestly our best airbnb stay to date! The villa is beautiful and view is unmatched. We loved the pool and the fantastic kitchen.

We had an absolutely amazing time staying here, from the home itself to the outdoors surrounding it was exactly the peaceful, serene environment we were needing. The house literally had everything that we could’ve possibly needed cookware wise and even cleaning wise because although we were on vacation in a neat freak and with 2 boys the messes are sure to follow. Our host was so kind and responsive and gave us so many wonderful recommendations for things to do with our sons. We did not want to leave 💕 thank you so much for having us.

We loved our family vacation here! The home was decorated beautifully for Christmas, and though it is very spacious, it felt cozy. The spacious kitchen was fully furnished with all the dishes, flatware, cookware, utensils, etc that could possibly be needed for prepping and hosting. The living room has plenty of comfortable seating and walks out to the most gorgeous deck overlooking the pool and the mountains! This home has 2 fireplaces and is furnished with a pool table, foosball table, ping pong table, treadmill & elliptical. The outdoor area includes grills, a fire pit, patio, hot tub, and swimming pool. The home was immaculate! Arriving and leaving instructions were easy and clear. There were no disappointments with this AirBnB !!

We loved the cabin! It was just as described. It was clean and had everything we needed. I would definitely bring a different vehicle next time, had a little bit of a hard time maneuvering on the mountain roads to get up to the cabin. Steep downhill and inclines. A great place to stay for some R&R. Peaceful, quiet and great view from any room in the cabin. We did get loss , we couldn’t find it at first, my gps did work and I did not lose signal , but when we turn down the road it keeps telling me I have arrived which is not the place. I have to keep going down the road and saw the number for the property. We brought our fishing rods and tried to fish, we got a bite but didn’t catch any. All in all it was an awesome stay and we had a wonderful time we would definitely stay there again when in the area.

I’ve been renting Airbnb’s for years even before it was called Airbnb. Richard’s place was one of the best so far. There is nothing that I can say bad about Richard or his home. This owner was so responsive, kind and the best that I’ve ever seen. Prior to my visit he emailed me information on events and places in the area. He even offered me the opportunity to check in early. I never had this happen before ever!!! The home was so beautiful!! It had everything you can think of. He thought of everything! Omg! This home was one of my favorites by far. I hated to leave. The sauna and hot tub was so clean. Every bedroom had cabled TV’s. There was dog beds and water bowls. I can go on and on about this home and the greatest customer service that I received from Richard. It was storming the day that I was going to check out. He offered me free late check out. I didn’t have to take it but he checked on me once I got home to see if I made it safe. Omg.. I love Richard and his wife.❤️

Stayed here with my gf for a month. We loved it. Will book again if we’re in the area

Everything was wonderful the only one thing i would suggest is placing a tv set on each bedroom since only one of bedrooms had a tv besides that it was all great.

We had the most wonderful stay at A Golden Retreat. It was spotless, the location was amazing and the cabin was beautiful! It was great place to spend our new years and we will absolutely return to this cabin next time we find ourselves in the area.

We had the best trip! HBC was an incredible cabin, and it was everything we hoped for and more. Loved that it was nestled in a secluded, scenic spot. Waking up to the sight of the sunrise on the balcony was absolutely magical. We even saw a few deer, squirrels and rabbits!The cabin was spotless and beautifully decorated, loved the rustic charm and had all the amenities we needed. The fully equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare meals, and the fireplace added a cozy touch (even though we didn’t use it-it’s was quite warm 🙂) The beds were so comfortable, and the large windows brought the outdoors in, making it feel like we were truly immersed in nature.A couple of the highlights were the spacious deck for watching the wildlife and the hot tub—perfect for relaxing after a day sight seeing. And that swing! I have already ordered on for our house. We also enjoyed sitting around the fire pit under the lights while making s’mores. We can’t wait to visit again! 10/10-excellent!

We really enjoyed our stay at Misty Mountain Trailside Retreat cabin. We've vacationed in the area several times but the cabin we've stayed at in the past isn't pet friendly and we wanted to bring our two little pups with us. I can't speak for all of Misty Mountain's cabins but the Trailside Retreat cabin is pet friendly. The only thing I will caution people about is the loft. If you have mobility issues, small dogs, or senior dogs, use caution when going up the stairs. The stairs are narrow and steep to maximize cabin space and they are open back so a small pet could potentially fall while going up them. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and we will be visiting Misty Mountain cabins again.

This place was awesome. It was cozy, clean and had everything we needed for our get away with a friend. The area is fairly close to town and is within walking distance of a resort/restaurant. It was a surprise to me that we were in a little HOA community of tiny houses but it was a quiet peaceful place despite being around many other houses. The hot tub, fire pit and games were awesome and there was a garage available for our friend to store his motorcycle. It was a lovely place to stay... highly recommend if you don't mind having close neighbors.

George’s place was a great mountain escape for me and my puppy! Very cozy and perfect for 1-2 people. If you like to cook, I found the cooking facilities more than adequate!
