Our family had a wonderful time at Heidi and Steph's place to celebrate our daughter's birthday. Heidi and Steph really made us feel like at home. They're the most wonderful hosts we've ever met. The view from the front porch, facing the river, is beautiful. Great place for fishing and enjoying the beauty of nature. We caught 6 trouts in two days. Yay! Thank you for showing us the spots and for everything else that made our trip an amazing one.

Dawn was a perfect host. Her quaint little home is exactly as pictured. We loved the fact that the home was pet friendly and yet exceptionally clean. Definitely will be rebooking a stay.

What a perfect stay. This was an enchanting Alice in Wonderland-themed home. From the moment I stepped inside, I felt like I'd fallen down the rabbit hole and entered a whimsical world of wonder. The decor was meticulously curated, with every detail thoughtfully considered to transport me to a fantastical realm. The rooms were filled with clever references to the classic tale, from the inspired artwork to the oversized floral arrangement at the front door. There’s a winding hiking trail in the back with more wonderland garden secrets and surprises. But it wasn't just the aesthetics that made this stay so special – the amenities were top-notch, too. The fully equipped kitchen had everything I needed, including a fun popcorn maker and s’mores kit. The living room has an enormous sectional couch with leg rests, perfect since it was raining during our stay and we were just happy and comfortable staying in. What a unique and 100% worthy experience!

This place is not for everyone but for those who appreciate privacy, tranquility, and quietude, it is a dream. I like that it was tucked away in the mountains. The kitchen is very well stocked and there was hot water and electricity the whole time I was there. You should know how to operate a wood stove and don't expect great internet but that's the point of a getaway in the mountain cabin. Amber and caretaker Christian were both so warm, kind, helpful, and supportive during my whole stay there. I can't wait to come back in the summer and bring my son and partner

This place was amazing! There was a waterfall right outside our cabin and was the perfect spot for relaxing. The bathrooms are clean and there was hot water in the shower! Truly off grid and felt very private. 10/10 recommend!

We are a large group of fishermen and wanted to be together. Bens place provided that. we fished all day and gathered for the evening meal and talk about the day Then leave at O dark 30 to go fishing in the morning. They have 4 BBQs and smokers large covered entertaining area. plenty of parking for boats and trucks. Plenty of room to find a place to sleep and a few guys brought cots and sleeping bags to sleep. overall it was a great experience.

The cabin was as advertised, private, clean and well maintained. Meghan was there when I arrived and was super friendly and very helpful. The area is very quiet and peaceful and steps to the Trinity River. I would recommend the cabin to family and friends. Thanks, Meghan!

Or stay was great! The house was very clean and Lillian was very helpful with directions and getting the house situated for us! The location is amazing and on a clear night the stars are incredible. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Drew's cabin is very relaxing and peaceful, perfect for a getaway out of the city. I really enjoyed staring up at the stars one of the nights! It's definitely a bit out there, but in the best way.

This is the third time we have spent time in Lisa's cozy cabin, as Dunsmuir is an ideal stop for us en route to our son in Portland. We love it! Although we never play any of the games she has provided, we love the comfortable bed, the shower amenities, and (at Christmastime) the Christmas tree! Lisa was particularly accommodating this time, as I had forgotten to mention our pet when we signed up. PS Pizza Factory in town = great pizza!

Wonderful Stay at The Round House Our stay at The Round House in Trinity Village was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, Gail, our host, made us feel incredibly welcome. The house itself is charming, and well-maintained, with plenty of unique touches that give it a cozy, inviting atmosphere. One of the highlights of our stay was the saltwater pool—We spent hours lounging by the pool, enjoying the peaceful surroundings and taking in the stunning views. Gail was the perfect host, and thoughtful without being intrusive. She provided everything we needed for a comfortable an and relaxing stay. Overall, I highly recommend The Round House for anyone visiting Trinity Village. Whether you're looking for a quiet retreat or a place to unwind with family and friends, this is the perfect spot!

We had an amazing stay at this cabin! After a busy year, it was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The cabin is beautifully furnished with antique, high-quality pieces and has everything you need, from a fully equipped kitchen to cozy blankets, beds and games. The cuckoo clock was a highlight—my kids loved counting the seconds to see the bird! My 6-year-old son also got to see an old-fashioned telephone for the first time, which was so special. The owner was very responsive, and the cabin was spotless. The surrounding area is gorgeous with plenty of hiking trails, and the locals are incredibly kind. We even learned how to fish thanks to tips from the friendly staff at the General Trinity Store and caught four fish—our kids were thrilled! This cozy, peaceful cabin is a perfect getaway. We’ll definitely be back. The Only thing is that you just make sure to check road conditions if you plan to explore the area.

Carols place is nicely located near the town for food and near the Hwy, It was comfortable enough for two of us and was clean. Would stay again,.

We decided last minute to look for a place to spend with friends and family for Valentine’s, we were lucky to find Ali’s place available. Place is beautiful, very big we were afraid that we will fill out of place but the house is so warm and cozy that makes you feel like you are home. We loved the kitchen and big living room area.

This was our second time staying here. It is such a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. I have no complaints! We felt comfortable and welcomed in the space. We experienced one issue (plumbing), and it was addressed promptly and seriously. We plan to stay here again!

We have lots of family over the hill in the Hoopa Valley, and staying in Orleans is a quick half hour drive up river. The Klamath river in this area is special and spiritual, especially for the Karuk people and other indigenous folks that live throughout this area. If you are looking for a quiet place without electronics to disconnect from the outside world and reconnect with yourself, this remote part of northern California is for you. Be respectful. The ranch property and the areas immediately around Orleans are great, safe places to walk the river. You'll see deer, herons, osprey, trout jumping, and maybe some otters. Truly remote wilderness is a short drive away and be properly prepared when hiking the amazing trails and river access areas. If you want to see bears, head up river 10-20 miles to one of the river accesses before the sun hits the water. I saw two at Green Riffle and decided to leave instead of fly fishing for the Klamath's beautiful trout.
