Cabeira House (named for being the home there will be "along the path to the River") is located in the small village of Paradinha currently no permanent inhabitants. It is in a small valley, embedded in the Arouca Geopark. Excellent for those who love nature and quiet river. Near: Located 22km and 7km of Arouca Alvarenga, known for its superb steaks, beef breed Arouquesa. River Paiva much sought after by lovers of extreme sports (rafting, kayaking, climbing, canyoning). Arouca Geopark, several walking trails, Career Mill, Arouca Monastery, Frecha Mizarela (falling water), Saw da Freita, Pillory Alvarenga. Possibility of meals prepared at home ... breakfast, snacks, typical Portuguese food or something to your liking ... or even a surprise for someone special ... or .. a party Thematic ... the mot is released .. .

No TV. But we have a river, a boat, food, wine and the aim of making this an inspiration place.

Casa do Rio Alva is a very special place with private access to the river! Our country house is located in the village of Secarias in the heart of the nature of central Portugal, 4 km from the village of Arganil and 55 km from the city of Coimbra. Exploring the Alva River from our home is a unique experience, where the following stand out: avocets, bees, kingfishers, crows, swallows, foxes, field mice, frogs, toads and snakes, numerous fish such as bass, bogas and carp, but also trout and eels.

The Spa Douro villa is located on the banks of the Douro River and features an infinity pool with stunning views of the Douro River and a Spa with a jacuzzi (6pax), sauna and Turkish bath. A complete property consisting of 1 guesthouse (suite, kitchenette and living room) and main house with 3 suites with bathroom with shower, 1 indoor twin suite, living room, kitchen, dining room and outdoor space with gardens, swimming pool, ping pong , games field and dining area. It also has an equipped gym.

Discover the charm of Suite Limão at Quinta da Ribeirinha, a calm retreat with breathtaking views of the Douro River. This suite offers a private bathroom, features a double bed (or two singles upon prior request), a kitchenette and access to the common area which features a kitchen and swimming pool. Relax over the natural landscape view over Douro River or enjoy the nearby fluvial beach. Breakfast service is not included in the price, and can be added at a cost of 25 euros per night.

Now, if you want to get to know a genuine Quinta do Douro, located in a place of unique beauty and tranquility, where you will be welcomed by those who put their hands (and feet) in the production of wine, we will do our best to provide you with a beautiful stay. We are in the Upper Douro, bathed by the river. We have this small independent house - the Casa do Losango - and also three rooms in the main house.

Stay in a newly renovated stone farm house built in 1888 on top of an ancient Roman road. Small cosy apartment off the beaten track, ideal for quiet retreats and getaways to focus on writing or creative projects. You will wake up to a breathtaking view of the wooded hills and overgrown farmland. Take long walks in nature or in the small village. Fresh fish available twice a week, 15 mins drive to the supermarkets and 7mins to a smaller grocery store.

This is one of 2 suites (toillets inside the rooms) that share a kitchen/livingroom of an apartment adjacent to the main house of Quinta das Amendoeiras. It´s surrounded by vines, 10 minutes walking from a small beach in river Douro.
