Had an amazing time while me and my partner stayed here. The accommodation was very nice with a private pool and area all to yourself, was very clean and peaceful and had everything we needed. I was surprised with how close the beach actually was, just had to cross a bridge and you were there. Ross was amazing to deal with, he offered to pick us up and drop us off to the ferry terminal which was amazing and greatly appreciated, he gave suggestions and was overall very helpful and kind. Would greatly recommend this place to anyone and would love to come back sometime.

Gary and Catherine were incredibly welcoming and friendly hosts! They went the extra mile by picking us up from the airport when we landed and offering recommendations for things to do/see around both Townsville and Magnetic Island. We would definitely recommend their place to those visiting this area!

We had an incredible stay at Karen & Mark’s home. They were exceptionally hospitable, going above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and comfortable throughout our visit. The location is ideal—right in the heart of everything, making it easy to explore the area. Staying in a traditional Northern Queensland home was such a unique and wonderful experience. The house is clean, and the area is full of character, and gave us a real sense of the local culture. It was well-equipped, and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience—highly recommend this place!

Sharmaines place is a needle in a hay stack, if you find her place unbooked, just go ahead and book it! Wonderful place close to lots of great paces Sharmaine is super caring and accommodating! They even offered to drop me off at the airport, you just don’t get people with that kind of caring attitude anymore! Best stay in my 7 years on Air BnB, Will be back again!

Our stay with Virginia was absolutely fantastic just as she is! Virginia is an outstanding host friendly kind and very helpful, she went above and beyond to help us and make us feel welcome as we were new to Townsville. The property was great! Such a beautiful location and close to the city, everything you need is in the property and is also very clean. We made good use of her great pool and spa and ate our breakfast outside in the beautiful surroundings most mornings!! Thanks for everything Virginia, we will be back!! 🙌🏽. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely a 5-Star Stay! Staying with Elisabeth and her family was truly the best experience we could’ve asked for. They were incredibly generous, warm, and welcoming—so much so that I honestly consider them like family now. I didn’t want to leave! The guest suite was flawless in every way. From the thoughtful floor plan and cozy cloud-like bed to the luxurious linens, widescreen TV, and a relaxing bathtub—it felt like pure comfort. We also had access to full laundry facilities, a stunning pool, and a beautiful outdoor entertaining area that made our stay feel like a five-star resort with all the warmth of home. We were completely overwhelmed—in the best way—by how comfortable and at-home we felt. Thank you, Elisabeth and Dylan, for such an unforgettable stay. We can’t wait to come back!

A beautiful apartment, surronded by nature but still close of everything you need to spend perfect holidays (bus stop, restaurant, supermarket, beach, playground if you have kids). Louise and Brad are also very kind and helpful. The apartment is very well organised, clean and adapted for a family with 2 kids. If we have the chance to come back on Maggie Island, we will come back to the same place.

This airbnb was one of the best I have stayed in. So peaceful and quiet. Very clean and comfortable, felt right at home. Robyn and Tony were great hosts and very friendly, nothing was too big of an ask. They give you plenty of information about the island, what to do and how to do it. Having the pool there was great to cool off in just at our door step. Would highly recommend. Five stars all round.
