Very spacious accommodations where we were mere minutes from the best activities in Laurel. Didn’t even need to use our car after arrival.

The perfect place to stay when visiting Laurel. Very hospitable and friendly host. The cottage was charming and comfortable. The decor was very well done. We would certainly stay there again.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Joanna’s place in Scooba. We rented the bigger house and the cottage too. It’s such a peaceful country setting with plenty of outdoor activities. We enjoyed canoeing on the lake and walking around the property. Our grandchildren loved the tree swing in the front yard! The homes were inviting, comfortable and had plenty of room for all of us to congregate and to spread out. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and enjoy our meals together. Joanna’s place is a country gem!

Perfect home base for University of Alabama visits! This house exceeded all our expectations during our recent trip to visit our son at UA. The location was ideal - just a short drive to campus while offering a peaceful retreat from the university bustle. The space was immaculately clean, tastefully decorated, and had every amenity we could need. Our host was incredibly responsive.

We had a short overnight stay, but it’s a really neat experience! Super comfortable, clean, and easy to find. We will use it as our halfway point to TX from now on!

Corner Cottage was lovely. The house was very clean, with comfortable furniture! My guests and I also loved the decorations! Kati was easy to get in touch with and super responsive! Can’t recommend this place enough!
