easily one of our favorite airbnb's in NZ (and we've stayed at a good few now!) within minutes of arriving my son was insisting he wanted to live here! cozy and well set up, in an unbeatable location, we would absolutely come back and recommend to others

A lovely stay, quiet and comfortable with the safety of nearby neighbours. Really appreciate the support having to need to leave early and the kind messages that followed. Will definitely be staying again when we are down that way ngā mihi nunui e te whanau!

House was well equipped and very spacious.Lovely large back and front gardens.Bus stop nearby but not many buses so we used taxis into town and back. Host was very helpful on the two occasions I called her. There were only 2 of us but would be great for a family. We enjoyed our stay.

It was so good to visit again after staying previously a few years ago, and enjoyed the extended space & upgrades to the bathrooms. It is such a good location with amazing views of the coast. Thanks for a great stay.

We had a family weekend at Makehu Manor and created lasting memories. Location was beautiful and the perfect place to relax. The house and surroundings were so much more than our expectations and was really well equipped. There was plenty of room and was very family friendly. It was lovely and clean and Lizzie was great to deal with. The pool was also used by most of the family. It is the perfect location for all age groups. Thanks Lizzie.

We had a lovely stay at Sarah's, she got in touch to ask about our plans before and gave us great recommendations and met us on arrival. The place is so lovely and Sarah was very kind in letting us explore the property with sheep, pigs, an orchard and lots of amazing home produce. Beds were very comfy, the mezzanine bed has a window looking out from the side and a sky light which was beautiful at night. The bathroom and the kitchen were exactly what we needed. A little electric bench top oven, hot plate and kettle and fridge. There is a beach 1 km down the road which was lovely for sunset. We only stayed 1 night but would love to come again!
