A beautiful well appointed cottage, lovely and clean with comfortable beds. The hot tub in the well kept private garden was a bonus. Poppy was responsive to questions and queries and had left some lovely personal touches to make check nice and smooth. Bath is just a short drive and there are lots of local pubs for a lovely meal out. The surrounding area was quiet and beautiful. We would definitely go back.

I realy enjoyed my first air b and b stay with Cindy at stag cottage. the hamper of provisions was usefull, and meeting her kittens was a lovely extra treat. the whole holiday allowed me to unwind fully and have quality time with my son, we made the most of the heathland, woods and beaches and I reconnected with an inner peace I have not felt in many years. Thank you so much.

Great place , did exactly what it said on the tin

Very lovely hosts and the place in general is lovely for little families. The property has a very safe enclosed garden which is perfect if you've got little ones. The property is on the grounds of their own property which is something to be mindful of if you're expecting complete privacy. My only negative is that the basic necessities like tea/coffee/sugar are not provided to give you that little head start if you've travelled a long journey. That being said, the place is a beautiful little getaway x

A perfect find for a relaxing weekend with friends. This place was spotless, peaceful, spacious, filled with everything you could possibly need, and in a perfect location. We really appreciated the instructions written throughout the house, it meant there was no room for confusion and we didn't have a reason to message the host all weekend as they'd covered everything. We will absolutely be coming back.

Sue and Robert’s cottage was stunning. We had a lovely weekend with our young children. They were both super quick to reply, gave us lots of recommendations and explained how to use the hot tub (which was amazing with lovely views. The kids LOVED it) The welcome bits (bread, coffee, milk, juice ect) was a lovely touch. The place is immaculate and had lots of games and dvd’s. The area is beautiful and so peaceful. The kids said they wanted to stay there FOREVER which says it all. Thankyou Sue and Robert x

Such a beautiful hideaway on the edge of the New Forest. Chrissy was a perfect host with communication from booking my stay, and during, to make sure I was happy and letting me know she was there if I needed her. I will definitely be booking this idyllic cottage again, next time for longer as I didn't want to leave. Thank you so much Chrissy.

we had a lovely stay at the cottage, it was very clean and tidy with all the essentials. Nice peaceful area with quiet neighbours. Gill and George were very responsive with any queries. wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

We had such a wonderful stay, so much so we didn’t want to leave. Hilary was such a welcoming host and the cottage was so beautiful. Our whole family loved the cottage and we definitely want to come back. There’s so much to do in the area too. There’s lots of toys at the cottage for kids, including bath toys and a really cute outdoor kids dining table. Once the kids were in bed it was also so lovely and cosy for the adults. The pianos were also a great touch, we loved playing them and teaching the kids how to play. We would recommend the stay to everyone.

We had a lovely stay at the Jackdaw cottage. Well located for access to the centre and shops. We liked the kitchen and the patio garden particularly. Note there is an Aga which we managed to use successfully thanks to a helpful cookbook. We have family in Wimborne and look forward to booking again. Penny and Matthew

Firstly thank you Paul & Sarah for your directions. If you put the cottage post code in to your sat nav it will have you carrying out a U turn on the A31 so please note the directions given. The cottage is in a lovely location and was cosy, well furnished, well equipped and clean. The garden was lovely and great for our dogs but small dogs can squeeze through gaps in the fence (Paul is aware and is planning to block off any escape routes). There were fresh tulips and shortbread to greet us, which was a lovely touch, as well as lovely toiletries. Paul & Sarah were responsive to any queries or needs we had. There are lovely walks through the forest right on your doorstep. There is an outdoor hose for washing muddy footwear and paws. There are outside lights but the torch inside the cottage came in handy. We would happily recommend the cottage for a relaxing break.

Rowan Barn's open plan design worked very well as a welcoming space for three adults. It is set in beautiful countryside and in an excellent location for exploring this part of the Dorset coast. The cottage had everything we needed, including good access and easy parking. We have stayed in several different cottages in the area. This is the one we hope to return to. Thank you, Debra.

We keep returning to this corner of Dorset and this is our third trip to Mapperton - and not our last. Absolutely the most beautiful place and immaculate, tasteful, cosy cottage.

We had such a wonderful time staying at this cottage. The location is just perfect, peaceful and beautiful. The cottage is easy to find. Everything was tidy and clean as well as well equipped and beautifully decorated. You are surrounded by fields, a stream to listen to and little rabbits hopping in the field next door! Lots of fields and paths to take your dog for a walk. Enclosed garden and property so dog and child safe. Lovely to arrive to a welcome pack for the dog as well as us- chocolate, biscuits and eggs from their chickens! Lots to do and nice places to eat nearby- there is a folder with all info needed in the cottage. Perfect getaway for a family with a dog! We were lucky enough to meet the host’s dog Rocky! Thanks for having us x

We had a lovely stay at Mill farm in the small and cosy HayMow cottage. Extremely clean, modern and comfortable. Thoughtfully kitted out. We were lucky enough to spend a few hours in the short lived sunshine in the little private garden. Lots of great places to visit and beautiful scenery, would recommend and would love to return for another visit !

We absolutely loved our stay here. Hazel wrote to us and gave clear instructions for arrival as well as coming to say hi once we got there. The accommodation was lovely and cosy. The amount of space to walk around in the forest was excellent even if we weren’t brave enough to do the flying fox. The Dutch hot tub was excellent once we got it hot and we spent a lovely evening listening to the sound of the forest. Highly recommend (my 4yr old loved all the books as well)

A beautiful cottage, bath with a view and lovely hot tub in private garden. Provides everything you need for a relaxing weekend away. Beautiful location, so peaceful. The barn with pool table and gym was a great addition. Responsive host too, a really lovely welcome when we arrived.

very cosy, fully equipped kitchen, lovely location. spent a fantastic Christmas with all the family. would definitely come back! Melinda was very responsive to our questions and helped with heating issues as the house was cold when we arrived. it would have nice to ha e the house pre warmed ready for arrivals. House was decorated for Christmas and had some gifts left for us too which was a lovely gesture thanks for a lovely stay and great memories

Had an amazing stay at this beautiful cottage. Better than described and photos were spot on. Most wonderful welcome pack, Prosecco, Brownies, local bacon , butter , fresh bread and eggs and orange juice. Lovely fresh linen and fluffy towels. There were toiletries in every bathroom . Well equipped kitchen with cleaning supplies to us to use. Would love to go back again .

The cottage was absolutely immaculate. It was Incredibly well equipped with absolutely everything that you could possibly need. It was a beautiful location and so peaceful. Andrea wash a delightful host. The gusts were hilarious entertainment. We worked defiantly book again.

Wendy was a very friendly host and the annexe was one of the nicest places we’ve stayed - and we’ve used AirBnB all over the world. Private, well equipped, spotless and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.
