Tikioki Beach : locations de vacances

This was our third time staying at Paul’s place. The house is fantastic. It was great to have a full kitchen as we like to prepare our own meals some of the time. We had a car so found it easy to get around the island. Very close to the airport which was handy. It’s not the best area for swimming or snorkelling, but the lagoon outlook is beautiful. We enjoyed afternoon strolls along the beach and ‘happy hour’ on the deck admiring the stunning sunsets. Paul was very easy to communicate with and very generously allowed us to check in a bit earlier which was very helpful. There’s a bakery and service station in walking distance which made grabbing a few essentials very easy, however we did a bigger shop at the local supermarket a 5 min drive away. We prefer to snorkel near The Rarotongan and opposite Chantal’s Concierge which was an easy drive towards the other end of the island. Overall a very comfortable stay at a reasonable price. You can’t go wrong at Paul’s.

The house was great, the location was perfect: it was easy to get to the beach and Muri town, and Cathy was wonderful to deal with and very helpful. We had a fantastic time!

One of the best airbnb stays I've ever had. Tere and family made me feel welcome immediately, and are absolutely fantastic hosts. They gave me great recommendations on where to find good food, the convenience store that's open late, and best things to see and do. The penthouse is cozy and clean, the bed comfortable, and the views are stunning. Enjoy the sunsets from the balcony or the beach, which is a literal stone's throw away. Don't overthink this one. I'd happily stay in the penthouse again, or one of their villas. Meitaki ma'ata, thank you all for an amazing holiday!

Fantastic stay at a fantastic place, and a fantastic host as well! The view from the terrace is worth a million dollars. Elizabeth was also so kind to offer us a late check out because our flight to Aitutaki left in the late afternoon. Meitaki maata!

Spectacular! The place is awesome. We had looked at a few places and settled on Surf Mist and we were blown away at how wonderful it was. Her place is a 2 minute walk to the beach but because it is not right on the beach, it is very private and very quiet. Didn't see any neighbors the whole week, has a large living room and very nice kitchen. I really appreciate having salt, pepper, oil, coffee, etc... already stocked. I always hated having to buy a container of oil or salt to then only use a small part of it. Location is terrific. Our favorite snorkeling were all within a 7 minute drive. There is a small grocery store (Wigmore's) that is a 2 minute walk away, we walked there twice a day. Looking back at our trip, it was extremely convenient and really a big bonus to be so close to this grocery store. Unless you are going to be cooking heavily, there is no reason to go to the larger grocery store that is close to the airport. Vaima restaurant was a 4 minute walk. Lots close by.

A great place to stay. Close to town, walkable, shops and cafes within easy reach. Looking out directly to the lagoon every morning watching the whales every day was a real treat. Ian’s help with local resources and the time he spent explaining and showing us about coconuts etc and the conservation efforts being made around the island gave valuable insight into what is happening in Rarotonga. The bungalow was simple and clean, perfect for what we needed. Would stay again.

Our stay in Rarotonga was great, the house is very good, close to supermarket, restaurant, you can do everything in less than 10 minutes walking. With a few steps you are on the beach. I recommend James' house, I just missed having air conditioning.

Great property, clean and spacious for a family, convenient location and the pool was awesome. They also had loads of extras. Sunblock and repellent coils were available. Toys for the pool and snorkels and beach shoes to use. Just be aware there are roosters that roam the property and give early morning wake up calls for all you ones that like to sleep in. Great host too that prompt when needed 😊
