Vellir Grenivik beautiful Home with a View

Vellir is a lovely old house in Grenivík, in north Iceland. It is located on the shoreline and has a wonderful view over the fjord. About 25 min drive from Akureyri. Grenivik is a magical place. The house is 80m2 on three floors. The evening sun is quite always spectacular from the house. There is also a good mountain view, and in the winter, this can be a good location to see the northern lights. It is a regular occurrence of whales swimming in the area.

It is a perfect location if you want to enjoy the countryside and visit some of the beautiful places in north Iceland, like: Lake Myvatn (30 km away), Húsavík (27 km away), Goðafoss waterfall (17 km away) and Dettifoss waterfall (68 km away). Our old family house on the farm has been modified and is usually rented out as single rooms in a guesthouse. But sometimes we also offer the rent of the whole house as a comfortable apartment.
