The hosts were great from start to finish. They helped us book the ferry with the discount, and when the ferry was delayed they also helped us get a refund. The place itself was really nice and had pretty much everything we needed. I notice that others complained about noise as it was on the High Street, for us it wasn't too bad. There was some noise, but nothing to keep you up night, although our stay wasn't during any special events.

We stayed here for 5 nights in May. We were 4 adults and the place was big enough for 8. Beds were comfy and the place was spotlessly clean. Quiet location and only 1 min walk to the shops. Car park on the next street. Good location for exploring the island. Would stay here again

Great place to stay, everything was in easy reach and walkable, beach, shops, town centre etc. clean, tidy, comfortable & clear instructions. would stay again.

The property is up to 20 min walk from the rail station, 4 min walk to the nearest grocery store and lots of bars and restaurants, up to 10 min walk to the beach. Peaceful, quiet, and overall nice surroundings. The property itself is very spacious, large kitchen, two toilets and a shower. The living room is massive, with two large sofas, work desk and a spacious balcony overlooking the park, also a view of a church by the side of it. The bedroom is a large en-suite room with lots of storage and a vanity corner. I must highlight that i have not slept on a better mattress, ever. The property has a washing machine and washing powder. In the shower room I also had access to a variety of shower gels and shampoos. The kitchen comes with pretty much anything you may need, even if you decide to bake! The check-in was super smooth, I was greeted on the main road and shown inside. Absolutely superb 3 night solo stay and I will definitely be returning! Highly recommend! 10/10

We love the Southbourne area and have stayed in a number of properties in the area over the years. This has to be the best one in terms of location, spaciousness and quality and range of equipment at the property. The lounge diner is nice and airy, big comfy sofa and chair and smart TV. The kitchen had lots of plates, mugs, glasses etc and lots of pans and utensils. Everything we needed was there. There was a nice welcome hamper with bread, milk, juice, biscuits etc. Bedrooms were bright and airy with comfy beds. Lovely shower in the en-suite! The apartment is close to Fisherman’s Walk, where you can walk down to the beach and promenade. There’s absolutely tonnes to do in the area, which is why we keep coming back, you’re definitely able to find something to suit everyone’s interests, young or old. And then there’s the Lazy Spa and outside area to enjoy after a long day exploring. Thanks Jemma, we had a great stay and would love to stay here again next time!

I really cabt recommend Jonathons place more positively. Lots of really good resturants and bars in walking distance as is the spectacular beach. Which is stunning. Easy reach of Bournmouth and Sandbanks. And the hot tub was amazing. Cant recommend this location enough for a really chilled get away. 100% use again in the near future.

Easily found just off the Main Street this cosy but spacious apartment was clean and equipped with everything you need. The hosts communication was great. Thanks for a fabulous stay.

Huge space, duplex home across two floors with large bedrooms, lounge and superb kitchen. Value for money was excellent considering it’s in the heart of Old Portsmouth. Perfect location!

There was everything that we need. Clean and a peacefull property. Chen is responsive. It will be a great option to stay if you have a car.

From the booking to leaving, the process was so easy. The house was amazing, perfect for our family stay away for a wedding and it felt like home from home. The welcome pack was very well received and a very welcome visit from Mark to check everything was OK for us. It's these personal touches which makes Mark an outstanding host. If ever we need to stay somewhere in the area again, we would have no hesitation in booking this accommodation again

Excellent house in a great location. Kids loved the house with great bedroom setups, house is well supplied with games, toys and dvds, plus a good garden to explore with a treehouse! Very good, large spaces for dining and lounging. Comfortable, clean bedrooms with lots of bathrooms. Well furnished and supplied house throughout. Loved our stay here! Very welcoming and perfect for a few families weekend away, great house with some great things around to do. Only small negative we could say was the water pressure struggled a bit with multiple bathrooms in use at the same time. Would stay again and definitely would recommend! Thank you.

Lovely stay at Jim's! Had a slight issue with heating but Jim was quick to respond and sort it out. Clean house with good wifi. Would stay again if we visit the area!

A really well located little house. Small but enough room for our little family. Excellent location for the ferry and Yarmouth. Parking is a pain but the local carpark is not far and there is so much to do on the Island you could easily be out for the day or not bring the car. There were a few niggles with the house but Bree communicated really well and was super helpful. It had everything you could need to be self-sufficient for a few days stay. Would definitely stay again.

The house was immaculately clean. All the equipment and furnishings were really well looked after and of good quality. Lovely bedding etc. There was plenty of ‘nice to haves’ such as lots of games, water sports equipment and bits and bobs in the kitchen. Would recommend as a base for a large family or two medium sized families away together. We were a group of 12 women celebrating and we all had comfortable accommodation. The garden was really peaceful and pleasant - we had our lunch one day on the patio. It’s a great location for very easy access to the beach and some lovely walks.

Bright & clean apartment, brilliantly situated if your going on a cruise like we did. I'm also impressed Christina didn't leave a to do list before you leave, this was a nice touch, as I will always try to leave a place how I found it. Also there is a convenience store on the corner of the building, this proved super handy. I would definitely book again, especially if I'm going on a cruise 👍

Lovely flat in a great location to Lymington town centre. Everywhere is driving distance and the use of the parking clock was very helpful as it was accepted in every town we visited (certain car parks only).

Steven's apartment was truly great and as described. There was everything you needed for a home meal, and instructions were perfectly clear, which made our arrival and check out hassle free. Overall spotlessly clean. The location was a plus! Would definitely book again! :)

We had a wonderful stay as a family of 4 with a teenager and 10 year old. The communication prior to our arrival was very clear and timely. The apartment itself is in a fantastic location, just minutes from the beach. We kept commenting throughout that David and Liz have considered absolutely everything their guests would need and require during the stay. It was spotless and very well kept, we will certainly be back!

60 steps from pavement to flat, but so worth it. lovely flat, just like the pictures. stairs a bit narrow. comfy bed, netflix, and lovely plants

Absolutely amazing stay at Samantha's place! Communication was excellent from start to finish. The flat is truly beautiful - the photos don't do justice to how spacious and open the main rooms actually are. The location couldn't be better - just a 5 minute walk to the beach and a short drive to the New Forest. We were able to explore so many beautiful sights all within easy reach. The beds were very comfortable and all appliances were new and worked perfectly. We hope to return again soon!

Excellent with kitchen supplied with basics, which were not expected. Spacious facility. Towels, linen, bedding all excellent. Easy to get to Portsmouth tourism highlights and in a quiet neighbourhood.

The place was clean, tidy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was fantastic—close to everything. The host was amazing, going above and beyond with communication and even helping us book ferry tickets. Would definitely stay here again!
