We really enjoyed our stay here! Great privacy, cozy house and we loved the amenities of the fire pit and paddle boat. It was perfect for bringing our little one too, with a crib and toys available! We should have brought binoculars for all the cool birds and ducks we saw. There were even swans on the lake! I wish we could have stayed longer. The nearby town of Holly looks like it came straight out of a hallmark movie! It was so cute and had really amazing antique stores as well as some really great little restaurants we were able to try. I would move to this area in a second if I could!

Very clean & comfortable place! Beautiful yard and deck.. beds were comfy, kitchen had what we needed and the living area chairs were just what we needed after a day of shopping! Jody was responsive and had check in & check out instructions written out so well. Thank you for having us! We’ll be back!

This place is amazing! We had 6 guys for a bachelor party. The waterfront view was just great. We really enjoyed spending time outside in the hot tub and by the fireplace. We are big into board games and the basement was a perfect hangout with the bar setup, huge table, and plenty of TVs. The sleeping arrangements were great and the man of honor loved the king bed. Brittany was very welcoming and great to talk with! 10/10 great place!!

Place was great for a an early spring golf trip. Close to Arcadia Bluffs, Manistee, Bear Lake, and Benzonia. House was clean and check out instructions were clear.

We stayed for 2 nights during the spring season. This is a nicely maintained cottage and the owners who live on the property are very friendly/helpful. We had a couple of small issues which were taken care of quickly... other than that we had no major issues. Keep in mind... As described in the listing there are quite a few stairs to navigate within the house. The outside property is very nice and was quiet and peaceful with a great view of the lake. Would stay here again.

Leah and Johnny's Guest House is a MUST stay if it is available during a trip to The County or anywhere close by! The location is amazing but the hosts offer such genuine kindness that you immediately feel like family. They went above and beyond with everything! This spot is a little slice of heaven on earth. Absolutely loved our stay at this charming cottage! The secluded location made it the perfect getaway for relaxing, and the surroundings were stunning—especially at this time of year. The cottage itself was cozy, well-equipped, and exceeded our expectations. We’d love to visit again and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat!

Very responsive host, easy to communicate with! When something is missed by the cleaner, frank was able to help us with solution. The place is very quiet and peaceful, very recommend for small families.

What a great location for a cottage! The included boats (canoes & kayaks) are really nice. We went in late October (end of the season) and the neighborhood was nearly deserted. We were often the only people out on the lake. It takes about 20-25 minutes to paddle over to one of the several waterfront restaurants in Port Severn. Trevor's communications were very precise and easy to follow. Only negative comment concerns the well water. It's not just high in minerals, it is so high in minerals that it smells terrible and you really don't want to shower in it.

Nous avons adoré ce chalet situé dans un lieu calme, paisible, beau. Le logement était très bien équipé (nous avons même trouvé un adaptateur alors que nous n'avions pas pris le nôtre). Le parking devant le chalet n'est pas accessible sans voiture adaptée à cette période de l'année, comme nous l'a indiqué l'hôte, nous nous sommes garés facilement sur la route très proche du logement.

The main cottage is very cosy but still offers plenty of room to spread out. The sun room offers a beautiful view of the lake which made our morning coffee and lunches very enjoyable. Having visited during the colder part of the year we appreciated the fire and an abundance of blankets (for the sun room). The kitchen is well equipped, even for a full on family roast! The next door bunkie is such a great addition. And it’s not just for sleeping! The living area and the balcony, with just as pleasant view of the lake, is is great for enjoying a moment away from the hustle 😁 The surroundings are peaceful and you can get a nice long walk on the road that didn’t get too muddy even after a torrential rain storm.

A dream rustic cottage space! This location is wonderful, thoughtfully set up and run. With many sweet and homey details throughout the space and hosts (Darrnel and Mike), are genuinely welcoming and thoughtful. This gem is very family friendly with an all around feel good atmosphere. Our large family enjoyed the humble lakeside access and nearby waterfall.

Absolutely loved our stay here. House is beautifully done and very comfortable. Host were amazing in helping us with a late night arrival. We look forward to being able to return in the future.

Awesome host! Was only there for a quick visit with coworkers but this would be a PERFECT retreat for an outdoorsy family. Will book again!

Paul and Robins Cabin was gorgeous! It was clean, very comfortable, and had everything that we needed in it. I was really impressed. The kids had a playground that was available to them, and our 9 yr old made friends with their kids and had a great time. There was plenty of wildlife and watching the birds from the deck was very relaxing. We were here for the Cranfest in Warrens, so we weren't able to do much on the water, but it was all there and available to us. We can't wait to go back and take advantage of everything.

Great overnight stay and a responsive understanding host

Cabin is cozy and clean. Very peaceful and calm. We spent good time at fireplace in night and did kayaking during the day. Overall it is great place to relax and have funtime.

We love this place! The location is great for hunting, fishing and snowmobiling. We will make this our go to place for future trips when available.

Great little place in Mio. Had all the amenities we needed for hunting. No internet and cable TV is limited so bring a small internet based TV and MiFi. Not big but clean and comfortable for the price. Host was VERY responsive, accomodating, and pleasant to talk with.

Had a wonderful time at the cabin for our anniversary! The land and creek were beautiful and felt very private despite being off the highway. The inside was so cozy and inviting and we really appreciate the tea coffee and snacks and hosts attention to detail. Would absolutely recommend for a weekend away.
